Very unassuming spot with decent diner fare. Everything was prepared as it should without any of the frivolity one may experience in some of the newer breakfast/brunch spots. The wait staff comes off a bit rough initially, but you become acclimated quickly.
Great food in a comfortable, friendly diner. We had soup (pea, vegetable) and a Greek salad. In addition to the regular oil and vinegar dressing, the waitress brought us some of their home made oil, vinegar and garlic dressing, which was delicious and perfect for the salad.

I wanted an authentic American diner in NYC and this was where I found it. The food was really good and the coffee kept coming, we even sat in a booth! Even though we ate early and the place was quiet, the atmosphere was friendly and the owners made a real effort to chat with us. Little things do make a difference and this place certainly cut it for me.
