“Just had food from here for the first time and it was amazing. Had their champ lunch sandwich, very good with lots of flavor. Also order two bagels, both toasted, one with butter and one with cream cheese. Been working here from out of state for almost a year now, best bagels I've had here since. Highly recommend and will be ordering from here again. (Only criticism I have, the macaroni salad lacked a little flavor)“

This piece of store is highly recommended by myself because the pizza. You really have to sit back and ask yourself. If it's a gravy or is it a sauce? The consistency of the sauce is just right? It's a smooth flow, and the crust at the end is not too salty like sometimes you have issues with that with certain pizza stores, but let me just tell you. This establishment comes highly recommended and that's just from the cheese slice. I look forward to going back and seeing what else I can explore with my options. “I placed a takeout order today Jan/19/24. "I do think this is the third or 4th time I have ordered from here since 2020*" and I have no words to describe how satisfied I am with my orders. I went to pick it up myself.The place looks cute and charming. I have to go and enjoy the experience of eating in there.I ordered the Pasta Penne & Vodka with grilled chicken and it was so good I also ordered the Mussels with Marinara Sauce and it was delicious as always.Everything was yummy, the portions were huge, you literally get what you pay for, and more.I don't get the bad reviews I haven't had a bad experience with this restaurant, they are just amazing.Thank you for such a portion of good food, and for caring about the orders. “After a nice visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, my girlfriend and I were craving some pizza. L & B Spumoni Gardens seemed like the perfect spot to try a different style of pizza. We managed to find parking easily despite the seemingly packed lot. As we joined the line outside, we were unaware of the indoor seating until I went to check, which turned out to be a huge plus. Once seated, we ordered the Sicilian Square Pizza with mushrooms on top. The pizza exceeded our expectations, with the perfect balance of thickness and crispiness that we both enjoyed. However, my girlfriend noted that she would prefer the mushrooms cooked a bit more. Despite this minor critique, we both agreed that L & B Spumoni Gardens offers exceptional pizza, and we would gladly return for another meal.“

“We found this gem of a bar/restaurant and visited five or six times. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff very professional and friendly. Eddie provided excellent service and Gabriel the owner is so welcoming and friendly and has time for everyone. The food was out of this world - particular mentions are Ravioli Zucca and the Brasato di Costolette di Manzo (short ribs to die for). The bomboloni (Italian doughnuts with chocolate and caramel sauces) is one of the best desserts I’ve had! We would definitely recommend this place. It’s in an excellent location opposite Central Park.“

“Couples or parties of 2 get ready to cozy up to your fellow patrons. If you need to get up tables will have to be pulled forward to let you out. Larger groups definitely have more room and spacing, but nonetheless the experience will be intimately loud. We came for the highly reviewed Coniglio (braised rabbit) which did not disappoint, but the Spaghetti Neri is a must try. The octopus was perfectly cooked and enrobed in a peppery sauce whose "slow burn" made it hard to put my fork down or prevent my partner from eating out of my plate. Their oxtail and cuttlefish appetizer is an "interesting" experience. The texture was heavy on the creamy and soft with flavors that channeled childhood memories for me, but were in conflict with each other for my partner. Thankfully, the Primitivo Orion was sublime on the palate in all the ways. If you're in the mood for a light dessert that isn't heavy on the sweetness, their panna cotta with wine infused cherries and almond biscotti is the perfect end cap. This place gets packed, so make a reservation. Our 6:45 pm booking was the sweet spot where the turnover from earlier diners gave us a little space for hand holding across the table and a mini lull to shout my man a happy birthday.“

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was enjoyable and accommodative. Alfredo and his team were extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. During our meal, Chef Rocco came out to ask how everything was and even brought us another pasta course to try on the house. The food was truly exceptional. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Overall, I highly recommend Trattoria L'incontra to anyone looking for a great dining experience. “We've been to Casa Limone many times, usually for lunch. The Executive Lunch on weekdays is our choice every time. The portion is just right and the salmon crudo and soup are always great choices. My wife and I split dessert and the gianduja is wonderful. Service at Casa Limone is always terrific from bussers to servers. Casa Limone is our go-to whenever we look for lunch in midtown.“

“I went to this restaurant for my birthday, and despite the last minute discovery, Giovanni and Matteo went out of their way to surprise me and bring me a slice of cake to celebrate. Delicious dishes and Matteo very kind, the prices are fair and even lower than many restaurants in New York. “I’m so happy our original Christmas Eve reservation was cancelled and we found this gem. It was perfect. Romantic ambience, beyond excellent service, food was delicious, drinks were strong. My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“

“Loved this hidden gem! We stumbled upon this once when we were craving authentic Italian, which seems to be rare in Manhattan nowadays. Chef and his wife are so nice and comes around to your table to make sure you’re taken care of. Great cozy atmosphere, definitely a must try. Lasagna and bolognese were so good. “We stopped by Roberta's for dinner after a comedy show. It was pouring out but Roberta's was packed and required a bit of a wait. We were seated in the back area where there was ample seating. We ordered: + Stracciatella: we attacked this appetizer once it came to our table. This dish came with two slices of bread which was enough for the big blob of cheese. + Marinated Olives: these were delicious and were fun to eat with our drinks + Little Gem Salad: this salad was refreshing, crunchy, and delicious. + Margherita Pizza: a basic margherita pizza done well. The crusts were also divulged (that's when you can tell the pizza is good). +Ice Cream Sandwich: we ended our dessert with their recommended sticky bun and ice cream dish. This was delicious and well worth the try. They tried to market it as a cinnamon roll but it is definitely much better than that. The staff was fun. They came by often to check on us but let us alone to chill for as long a we wanted. Cheers.“
