“Very impressed with the food. Most impressed by the steak (recommend medium cooked). One of the best. Pastas and scallop were all delicious as well. Appetizer also very good, particularly the large shrimps and small clams. But not a fan of the appetizer with the potato. Unlimited bread that were very tasty. House wine was good. Overall great quantity as well.“

“This has been one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The food is excellent (both presentation and taste) and they have a great service and vibes. Not sure how many times me and my husband have been here- we have brought our friends and family and recently had an occasion here. The team is great to work together and come up with delicious event menu! 10/10 I recommend!“

“Went there with my friend today. Hands down, best pizza I have had in Astoria. Order Marinara sauce on the side, trust me. Service was as good as the pizza, ladies inside were really nice. Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza lover like I am. I’ll be back for sure!“

“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria“

“I have eaten at Manducati's thrice, all for business purposes. I would recommend it for what it is, a reliable, old school Italian restaurant. When you walk in, it looks as if you are in somebody's basement. There is a stuffed animal sheep, full size, and decor as if people were living in a middle class suburban home above the space. That is "character." The dining room is conventional, probably as it was fifty years ago. The first time, we had a group. People ordered cocktails. They were refreshing. We also shared appetizers. I cannot recall exactly what I ate, but I can say it was satisfying. We were loud and stayed a long time. Nobody minded that. The last time, it was just two of us. I had the fluke, lightly breaded, with the side of green beans. I was hungry. I was eyeing the paste. I was informed I could have a half order. That was perfect. I had enough fluke left over for a nice sandwich, with cheese, the next day. The service was brisk. The prices are fair. All in all, you could not do much better and you could do much worse. I would not hesitate to dine at Manducati's, including on my own dime.“

“The service was immaculate. Ana did a fantastic job at giving us a great experience. It was our first time here and she was attentive, kind, and fun! At the end she let us spin the wheel to win a prize and I got a free soda, but I was a little bummed because I wanted to win a free shot, but she gave me it anyways! Not just the service, but the food was actually really good. It is a lowkey place, but with great food with great portions for a fair price. The drinks were definitely potent as well. We ordered the arepas for 2 that came with nachos, colombian hot dog, premium steak fries that came with a fire show, sangria, and a modelo. Everything was so filling that I had to take most of the food to go. I would recommend this place to everyone!!“
“I love this truck because it's independent individuals making quality, fresh, craft food. I actually get a hot dog more often than a sausage hero, but both are very good. They allegedly use a Sabrett's (skinless) dog just like everyone else, but their dogs are far plumper than you find from most other places and they use a Martin's potato roll. And they're grilled, which I prefer to the boiled dogs from the other truck up the street. When I get a sausage hero (which I just got myself in the mood for), I get it topped with marinara sauce. There's only one negative to this truck. They shut down at around 3:30pm each day and I don't think they're ever there on Sundays or holidays. In my perfect world, they'd be there practically 24 hours a day, so if I had a craving at 11pm, I could get my dog or sausage hero. Like everybody else, they've raised prices - dogs are $4 and I think the hero sandwiches are now $12, but still well worth it.“

“Absolutely stunning restaurant. So worth the trip to LIC. We had the Diablo pizza which was so flavorful and the dough was so soft and not chewy or tough at all. The burrata and tomato was fresh and light. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and soft, full of flavor. The tortellini was buttery, so creamy and delicious. I’m still thinking of the butter pecan gelato which is made by the owner’s son. The owner herself is so welcoming and effervescent. The wait staff were bright, cheery, helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.“

“We recently took my mom here for her 80th birthday celebration. Our reservations was for 4:30 pm unfortunately due to traffic and we were coming from NJ and Connecticut, but they were so accommodating. My mom had a great time and our server Mario was extremely nice. My guest enjoyed the food. They made sure everyone was having a good time. Her 80th cake was ordered through the restaurant and was beautifully made. I would highly recommend Vetro, definitely planning to return. Thank you Vetro for making her 80th birthday extra special.“

“I've been coming here for almost two years now. After my first visit I was very impressed. We've been coming almost every week since then and I have never had a disappointing meal or experience. The chef cooks everything well from seafood, pastas, meat, chicken and veal entrees to fresh salads, potato croquettes and sautéed veggies! Great selection of wines, drinks, desserts. Lovely clean dining room. Service is always extraordinary whether super busy or just a few tables. Now that I'm retired we livecgoing at lunch time. They have a terrific lunch specialist you're on a fixed income. Generous portions off the regular menu 75% of the time I'm bringing some home. Danny the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. “First of all, I have never been a big fan of pizza BUT... Il Miglio Brick Oven Pizzeria, WOW!!! BEST PIZZA EVER!! ....absolutely the best flavor, the portions, the home "homie" feeling when u dine in and again, THE BEST PIZZA & TASTE OF EACH FOOD ITEM... I don't even have a fav pizza there, because I loved them all.. literally get one of each item; but if I can only chose one, it would be the Cheese pizza... Ugh, so hard to just chose one lol When visiting New York or New Jersey, il Miglio brick is a must!! Prices are great. I definitely tell anyone going to NY or NJ to go there for best pizza, and I've had what they call "The best pizza" in Chicago from different places as well as "Pequod's Pizza" & "Lou Malnati's Pizza" and nope, nope, and nope, none compare to how good il Miglio is. My husband and I went in 2023 & just went again March 2024 because I promised my girls, who love pizza, the best pizza ever and sure enough, they agree; point is, Nicholas recognized us and again, was super humble, chill and cool! Thank you Nicholas for the great experience when visiting il Miglio restaurant, we shall def see u soon and every time we go to NY & NJ. hehe“

“Best crispy eggplant sandwich ever! I used to try different things every time we ordered but ever since I had that sandwich for the first time in November last year, it was a wrap. That sandwich ….yum….aioli is off the chart, it’s really filling (usually only eat half at a clip) and I’m pretty sure I dream about it, lol. When the girls in the office say we are ordering Luigi’s for lunch, they don’t even need to ask they know I’m in and what I’m getting. Thanks for making a mouth watering amazing crispy eggplant sandwich! :)“

“Fly me to the Moon (or Velmas)! My boyfriend and I are huge Gordo's fans! Velma is the Italian pizzeria sister restaurant. And even closer to home. We went before a show and were more than excited to hear that it was Sinatra Night! Hell yeah. I love Frank Sinatra. What a perfect date night. The band also played songs from Elvis Costello and the Carpenters. I noticed some older gentleman came to watch them. He drove to the show and ordered a hefty size of creamy pasta. This guy is my hero. We ordered the calamari to start. And Nick had a Birra Morreti and I had the "Diesel" cocktail that had the perfect amaro mix! The cocktail was balanced with sweet, strong and still remained smooth. The mushroom "Funghi" pizza was banging. I loved seeing the whole mushrooms on top. And the pesto marries well with the flavors. We devoured our decadent date night meal while time traveling to a different era with the tunes. Highly recommend having an intimate dinner here or get a little group going. The best was leftover pizza for breakfast!“

“Food was very delicious and would reccomend. I ate a pepperoni pizza with basil and the Caesar salad, and I have also heard the calamari is very good although I did not get it. The service was normally good, although we did have to wait for water refills for a sizable amount of time. The atmosphere was very loud and since I have hearing aids, the seating was not very friendly but the food and service more than enough to make my review go back to 5 stars.“

“My neighborhood pizzeria and absolute favorite! I love the different options to choose from. I have too many of their different types as a favorite of mine, original, Margherita, chicken tomato, taco slice and many others. Their grandma slice is my mom’s favorite. Great food, great memories, still as delicious as ever!Wheelchair accessibility: My dad used to come in here with his mobility scooter. “Although it's cash only and on the pricey side, it is worth every penny. Food it delicious, staff remembers you even if you haven't been there for awhile. My wife went in recently, although it was early and they weren't ready to do baked clams, they did it for her.We love their mixed fresh seafood. But their pizza is second to none. Their pizza in our opinion is NY BEST. Any topping you want, they have. You'll eat every bit, not even the crust is left over, in fact you work your way to the crust and that's the finishing point. That leaves you completely satisfied and filled.Love this place!!!I'll update with pictures next visit so you can visualize how delicious their food is.“

“I was originally going to Sofun noodles around the corner but when I got there they told me nothing could be made gluten free (I have celiac and thought the rice noodles would be ok). So Yelp came to the rescue and I'm so glad I tried this place! The gluten free margherita pizza was possibly the BEST gf pizza I've ever had. Chewy, soft, pillowy crust. “Since I was a kid I’d get a slice here. Due to unfortunate events in my life I had to switch up my diet so I had to stop eating here. Can you believe I had to settle for boxed pizza?! Had my first fresh slice in years today. I felt like crying a whole ocean. When I tell you the vegan slice reminds me of the regular New York slice, I am not lying to you. Can’t wait to try all their vegan options next time. ❤️“

“As an Astoria native who has been eating in Queens restaurants since Donald Trump was a virgin, I would like to praise Rosario's "The Famous One" Sandwich in the cadence of William Shatner: The. Best. Sandwich. Ever. Anywhere. Huge, tender chicken cutlet draped in prosciutto, layered with mozzarella, topped with cherry peppers. I'm a guy who could eat a whole pie from Frankie's Pizzeria in the 70's, but had to struggle to finish this. Go with a friend, share it, then hoist yourself off your chair to have a lemon ice at LaGuli's, which a New York Times food critic called the best Italian bakery in the outer boroughs. But that's another (five-star) review.“

“Came here for a Christmas party last year. The food and service was great! I would definitely return with my family to try some of their other menu items. The only problem I had wouldn't apply to anyone else coming here, but for the Christmas party, the inclusion of a written menu with a description of each dish would have been helpful to both the waiter and everyone dining. Instead, the server had to individually ask every single person at each table if they wanted 1 of 3 options as their dish and he did so pretty quickly. Many people didn't understand what the options were upon his first recall and needed him to repeat it. I think the poor waiter said "Chicken Francese" 100 times in 5 minutes.“

“If you're a fan of indulgent, meat-packed pizzas, then you've absolutely got to try the Meat Lovers Pizza at Esca's Pizza. Topped with generous portions of pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, meatball and sometimes even more delightful cuts, each slice is a carnivore's dream. The crust is perfectly baked, striking that ideal balance between crispy and chewy, and the sauce is a masterpiece that ties all the flavors together brilliantly. This pizza isn't just food; it's a heartwarming experience, delivering comfort and satisfaction with every bite. “Cute pizzeria tucked away on a strip mall that also houses Lidl on the edge of Astoria. I ordered a margherita for pickup on a Friday night that came out to about $29 and a 15 min wait.
