“Found an amazing hidden gem in Astoria, Queens! It’s a secret speakeasy tucked away at the back of a poke shop. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We tried their 14-course omakase with sake for $98 per person, and also added the optional uni ikura don for $25. The quality of the fish blew us away - so fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the neighborhood.“

“Okay so the prices are little high, the hours a little annoying but the food is great, incredible even. Love the variety of the grab and go sections. “Sushi chef was heavy on the fish. Staff were adorably kind. Place is small and neat. Most decent sushi place in the entire neighborhood.I got the salmon dinner and an uni sushi. It comes with a side of either miso soup or salad. I could not finish it and had a cute little to go box for my leftovers.Price is a bit steep since I chose a moderately expensive dish plus the uni which was market price. There are more affordable options on their menu.“

“Listen flushing is a huge place but amazing food options are not, this place is a Gem. When i saw the set up it reminded me of a place i went to in Japan sitting around the bar killing a bowl of miso ramen ( that i need to try next) and they have amazing small bites if your on the go like me. “Katsuno is a true gem of a place. It’s easily my favorite restaurant of my life. I love everything about it. The food, the service, the aura of the place, the jazz that plays while you eat. One hour experience without having to worry about behavior, matter of fact, the staff wants you to be loud and let loose. I've been to many Omakse around the $100 range but nowhere is this much fun. If you haven't experienced Sushi On Me then shame on you. I applaud the staff there for coming up with a party Omakase concept and I can't wait to be back. In closing, forget your mild mannered Omakase and just let it loose here or at their Brooklyn location.“

“I came here for my 3 year anniversary dinner and was not disappointed! The cowboy roll was amazing, definitely the best sushi I’ve had in Ridgewood ! (I’ve lived here all my life - 20 years) Both the NY strip steak and filet mignon were amazing also. Everything was well cooked, seasoned , and plated and all the ingredients were very fresh! We also had hibachi fried rice which was delicious as well and the tempura green tea ice cream did not disappoint. We ordered a lot and really enjoyed everything we had. “I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“

The atmosphere was ehh, we came with 12 people so we thought it will be more private but they also have regular dinner tables set up in the same room as omakase. “Sushi yoshi was one of the only spots open before noon so we gave it a shot! Everything was fresh - exactly what you might want from the spicy rolls and the eel avocado was definitely our favorite. Don’t sleep on the Korean fried wings - the texture was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I must say the food was good! However, it was a big disappointment in which there was no curry ..? Just some sweet sauce drizzled on the chicken katsu. I was really looking forward to this dish/my dinner but the curry was a no show! Kindly can do better with this dish by actually adding the curry sauce!!“
