“We’ve had our fair share of instant noodles growing up, so it’s so cool to see our memories of instant noodles culminating in an Instant Noodle Factory. This spot elevates ordinary noodles into a novel experience that's not limited to just college dorm rooms and late night eats. Instant noodles are so convenient for a quick lunch or as a snack, and it’s so easy to prepare by simply adding boiling water. It’s pretty awesome to see how a meal like this has been turned into such a fun concept in LIC. I love the wall of ramen showcasing all the different types of ramen right when you walk in. They even have the spice level of each noodle displayed. My friends and I ordered the beef birria, mala madness, champong, and duck duck noods, which are mostly combinations of classic instant noodles. With each noodle dish, you have the option to add extra toppings and sides on - we opted for toppings such as corn, fried fishballs, shrimp shumai, scallions, shrimp, and fried fish cakes. Ben, of course, got the beef birria noodle soup, which comes with tender marinated beef, corn, and jalapeños. The duck duck noods come with a pulled duck leg, scallions, and a soft-boiled egg. The mala madness is a combination of Buldak Fire noodles and mala spice. Our cousin loves spice, so he handled it really well - he could've upgraded to the Buldak 2x spicy. I got champong, a spicy seafood noodle soup, and added corn, shrimp, and fried fish cakes with edamame. Don't forget a drink to wash the noodles down! I really liked the iced lychee yakult tea and peach iced tea.“

“I love coming here for the beef noodle soup. Taking one star off though because I always order delivery from here when I can’t drive out to Elmhurst and I’ve noticed that they substantially decreased the amount of the fried appetizers (calamari and sweet potato) these past few times I’ve ordered.“

“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“

“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.“

“Today, my niece made an appointment with us at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao, which originally opened on Prince Street in Flushing, New York. We ordered two cages of Xiao Long Bao (six pieces), radish shortbread (four pieces), and chicken and shrimp shumai (four pieces). Unexpectedly, The portions are so generous and bigger than expected. It’s really worth it.“

“Batagor and nasi bungkus the two best things on the menu and honestly the two most unique things I've ever eaten. The nasi bungkus was a nice variety of spices carbs and protein, wrapped up in a banana leaf and cooked, enjoyed the variety of spices and items there. The batagor was a nice assortment of a variety of fried items that were smothered in peanut sauce, super interesting and really tasty. Overall I really enjoyed the sheer variety these two dishes gave, really gave me a different perspective of Indonesian food“

“First visit 11/05/2023: The sukhothai noodles are beyond amazing, the flavors are so fresh and my mind was blown away by the combination of sweet, sour, nutty, fishy, and umami flavors. Will definitely be coming back for more!Second visit 04/15/2024: Ordered sukhothai noodle bowl again as I loved it so much last time - I believe it was cold last time? This time it was served hot, which I didn't like as much. Recommend ordering with standard rice noodle btw (not vermicelli as shown in photo). Also tried my friend's pork blood broth noodle soup which I didn't like much, but might be an acquired taste, and really enjoyed the pork meatball skewer!Keeping 5-stars for excellent food and service!“

“Excellent noodles Hunan style. Signature is the beef noodle soup. Those that are adventurous can try the stinky tofu warning it’s very stinky. Otherwise they have a bit more friendly options for appetizer like soup dumplings, fried pumpkin pastry, steamed pork buns and popcorn chicken.“

“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“

“If you are looking for a warm bowl of goodness on a cold day, this is where it's at. I'm a big fan of rice noodles over wheat noodles as they are lighter and doesn't put me in an instant food coma. Decided to give this place a try vs my usual spot (Ten Seconds Noodle) and it did not disappoint. In comparison, the broth felt more healthy and nutrient at Deng Ji Yun Nan with the added herbs. The menu is quite large but well presented with plenty of photos for reference. I liked how spacious the interior was with all the light wooden accents.“
“If you’re trying out a new Korean-Chinese restaurant then all that matters is the Jjajangmyun and jjambbong. Tried both and they were delicious! Classic taste and healthy serving. My only critique is the potatoes in the jjajang sauce. Not a big fan. Other than that looking forward to coming back.“

“We came here for the iconic $2.50 peking duck buns and we’re not disappointed at all! The chefs slice up succulent pieces of duck and stuff them into fluffy steamed buns with scallions. They’re a little heavy on the sauce that they add but overall it’s enjoyable. We ate these on the side of the street since they didn’t have any seating or tables by their take out counter.“

“This was the second time I visited this place in less than a week. I ordered Chaat Momos again. Needless to say, the yogurt sauce is a great combination the Chaat. On a chilly Spring day, Thentuk soup hit the spot. I will be coming back to try the other items.“

“Cyclo Vietnamese food in Long Island City, New York, offers a delightful culinary experience. Their beef stew egg noodles are rich and flavorful, providing a comforting and satisfying meal. The bo luc lac, a Vietnamese shaking beef dish, is likely tender and well-seasoned, showcasing the skillful preparation of the restaurant. Additionally, their banh mi sandwiches are probably a delightful combination of crispy bread, savory fillings, and fresh vegetables, creating a tasty and portable option. Overall, Cyclo Vietnamese food in Long Island City seems to excel in delivering delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine.“

“My family and I have been coming here for a few years now and it's in our rotation of Saturday family lunch spots. Crab Meat & Pork Soup Dumplings: My favorite soup dumplings! The skin is nice and thin (!!) and the filling is flavorful. Served with vinegar and ginger. Sauteed Strings Beans: I don't know how they make them but these beans are crispy and crunchy and bright green--beautiful. Eggplant w. Garlic Sauce: My gawd this is my favorite dish ever--have it with white rice and it is just *chef's kiss*. It is on the oily side but it's less oily than other places. Come out PIPING HOT and the eggplant is soft but not mushy. Yummm Crispy Whole Yellow Fish w. Chili Sauce: Something new that we tried but honestly very good and would get it again. It isn't too spicy, maybe just a lil kick. Fish is nice and crispy and fresh (not fishy tasting). Sauce also goes well with white rice. We're regulars here so the staff knows us and chit chats with us (Canto/Mando) but I have overheard them with other customers and they are equally as friendly. The space is better for smaller groups (4 people) but I have definitely seen them accommodate for groups of 10 or so.“

“Thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The menu can be super overwhelming, so just look around at the pictures on the wall to decide what you want. Supper unassuming spot but definitely one to check out. Started with the roti, a must at this cuisine. It was what we expected, standard fare. Next was the sizzling tofu. This is a dish I was unfamiliar with and thoroughly enjoyed. The flavoring was great and the texture of the tofu was stellar. Highly recommend. We tried the hokkien char mee, a noodle dish with dark soy sauce. Not overly heavy with a nice noodle. Good balance for the other dish. We also got lamb rendang, which was also great. This we took home, in the end, as the previous 2 filled us up. However, always appreciate a good rendang.“

“En route to a Mets game grabbing assorted eats-to-go in downtown Flushing. Entered the spacious New York Food Court and spotted Lanzhou Hand Pulled Noodles. Recalled that Lanzhou cuisine was similar to Xi'an and have been a fan of Xi'an Famous Foods since they opened years ago in Manhattan. With noodles potentially a difficult item to eat in the Citi Field stands, decided to order a $7 Lamb "Burger," also recalling Xi'an's tasty cumin seasoned ones. Similarly spiced and pieces of meat vs. a formed burger, Lanzhou's was absolutely flavorful, but the stiff bun, which reminded me of an extremely dense, untoasted English muffin, fought the meat. (See pic.) That being said, would definitely come back to try next time Lanzhou's hand pulled noodles.“

“They are opening more stores here (new one in tangram) because they are so good. I usually get the handripped stewed pork (not spicy) and its always great. I recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC, you have to try it at least once. The stewed pork/lamb burgers are also top notch.“

“When you're feeling down or lost or sad, come to this place. It's the perfect place for comfort food and for no-nonsense ordering. My grandma never made me any of the dishes at this restaurant, but if she did, I'd imagine it to taste like this. When I first visited, it was a rainy day and I just got a bunch of work to do because I couldn't speak up for myself and say that I already had a lot on my plate. In my little funk, I went to this place and ordered a bunch of carbs for myself; I think I ordered noodles, you tiao, and dumplings. The dumplings were so good, it's not the thick skin type; the ramen wasn't too spicy and the noodles didn't feel old, they felt fresh. The food wasn't extremely fancy but it was good :)“

“I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and it was quite delicious. It was my first time trying it and I do believe for its price it is a good deal (My total was 15.20 dining in). The beef was flavorful and there was a generous portion of noodles. I would have liked a bit more beef but overall a great experience. I would say to try it out if you're ever in the area!“

“The best part of this place is the atmosphere, love all the plants and Vietnamese chachtskis they have laying around. The food comes quick, good portion and they have a ton of unique sauces to pair. The service is usually a trademark bushwick transplant with just a enough tude to get you thru the check out and on to your meal.“

“Here's the low down - This is the best wonton in downtown Flushing. Yes, better than Maxi's (which is good too!) and here's why. Maxi's wonton is all shrimp and gigantic so why is this one better? In my opinion the 'big land fish' 大地魚 incorporated into this wonton is a better flavor profile. It's not TikTok famous but it doesn't have to be because the locals know.“

“Perfect cold day to get a bowl of hot noodle soup. I've tried the flushing location before, so I had high expectations. This Elmhurst location was no different. The beef stew with hand-cut noodles - Super flavorful broth, with good heaping pieces of beef. The hand-cut noodles were al dente.Beef Stir Fried hand-cut noodles - This was okay in flavor, but the noodles were bouncy and chewy.Pork burger - More fat than pork meat. It was greasy but tasty.“

“I came to Kum Sung BBQ because I wanted to try Korean style raw marinated crabs for the first time. My friend convinced me to order the Naengmyun + LA Galbi combo as well because she said the restaurant is known for their cold noodles. She ordered the Sunji Haejang Guk because she likes hot soups mixed with rice. The blue crabs tasted fresh, so it paired nicely with the rice, but due to the soy sauce marinate it was definitely on the salty side. The Naengmyun was super chewy and the broth was a mixture of sweet, tangy, savory. Delicious! I was given vinegar and Korean mustard on the side to add to my liking. My friend said the Sunji Haejang Guk (ox blood with pieces of beer and vegetables in beef broth) was light and she liked how they provide spice on the side so customers can adjust per preference.Other than the dishes we ordered, we were provided with an abundance of bonchon (side dishes). I enjoyed the variety and how traditional the side dishes are (as opposed to just kimchi or picked radish that more modern Korean places give). This is more of a traditional Korean restaurant and the staff was very nice. My friend spoke Korean to the staff, but they made sure to explain and made me feel included. Haha.“
“Although there was a bit of a language barrier, staff seemed friendly, inviting and tried their best to answer my questions. I tried their "fried" potato dish that was a little too spicy for me & not what I expected at all. Along with potatoes it had cilantro, peppers, mushrooms and other veggies. On the other hand, their Lo Mein won me over! Served in large portions and being inexpensive, it was a yes for me.“

“This place is a bit of a walk from the main hub of Flushing, but it was definitely worth the trek. Came here for a weeknight dinner. We ordered two entrees and an app to share. The app we ordered was the pumpkin mochi cakes, and they were hot and delicious - we were so excited to try them that we forgot to take photos! The entrees were also very flavorful, especially the sliced cured pork with dried string beans and dried radish. I was afraid that a dish with those ingredients would be too salty, but they were able to balance the flavors just right. Would absolutely order that dish again. Service was quick and friendly, and you definitely get value for money at this resto. Would recommend if you are looking for delicious Hunan food while getting away from the usual crowded spots in central Flushing.“

“The sky was grey, the day chilly, my stomach begging for something filling and warm. We walked past this place and oh did the fragrance of the soups beckon! It was love at first sip. Simple and plain. The wife got the chicken and fish maw special, I the bone soup with beef.Is it the best around? No. Is it the cheapest around? No. But I don't think you can get such nice soups and serving sizes at this price range anywhere else.Give it a try, I didn't regret it.“

“Maxi's Noodle is a great stop for shrimp wonton enthusiasts. Their succulent shrimp-filled wontons are enveloped in thin wrappers, ensuring a uniform texture without any chewy, hard spots. While the fish balls might not have the usual bouncy texture I’m used to, they still have good flavor. I appreciate the variety of add-on options available, with some items incurring an additional but fair charge.“

“My partner and I have been coming to Susuru, more or less once a week, for about a year now. It’s « our spot » we love it. We get the same order every time, miso ramen and spicy tuna poke. I usually get a lucky cup sake as well. We love the takoyaki as well, but all their apps are great. The atmosphere is incredible. We love the going on a quiet, rainy day around lunch time.“

“Their wontons and dumplings are meaty and flavorful. The noodles are cooked just right. My favorite is the trio dumpling lo mein. Prices and portions are reasonable. Takeout is ready in 10 minutes. If you want a quick, affordable and filling meal this is the spot to go to.“
