“Convenient location with a parking spot. So it was takeout. It's not fast but my order was correct. I bought the fried flounder for the time. It's bread-y but I think it was so you can really get that spicy Cajun. I would eat it again...just not anytime soon due to me always trying to avoid carbs.“
“Keep an eye on your wallet while waiting for your food. Otherwise, the chicken only family meals provide a decent variety of white and dark meat (actually got more breast pieces than we thought we'd get!). Still prefer Popeyes over KFC and Chick-Fil-“
“Their fried chicken is always hot and crispy! Most likely the best Popeyes in NYC! The place is always clean compared to other similar fast food restaurants. However, sometimes they give you a wrong order. So it's good to check before you leave:)!Parking: Readily available free parking spots -each time I go there.“
“Please include utensils, napkins, and straws!!! I order through the app and my last three orders did not include them. I'm in an office without a kitchen. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to drink out of a large floppy drink cup without a straw, and then having nothing to wipe your greasy chicken fingers. There's nowhere on the app where I can put notes to PLEASE remember the jelly packets ? and if you call the number no one ever picks up.I'm working on Beach 20th and my last order was over an hour late.Which is unreasonable considering it's less than a 10-minute walk away, but I can't leave the office empty. That might be a seamless-doordash problem but the missing utensils when you're starving was just the slap in the face. How was I supposed to actually eat the mashed potatoes? Otherwise for some reason the chicken at this Popeyes is much better than the chicken at the other one in the '80s.I just placed another order, if it's missing utensils, I swear I'll start being my own lunch to work.“
“Normally my expectations are now low due to my experience with the very poor customer service I have endured the last 2 months with numerous businesses in my area. However, Thank You to this Popeyes for the outstanding customer service I recieved last night! The cashier, she was very professional. polite and helpful while taking my order! I normally don't like the Popeyes in New York, but this food was really good. They definitely exceeded my expectations.“
“Ordered via Door Dash @ 3:30am We ordered the wing combo: Garlic parm: would order again Med buffalo: perfect Fries: not too crispy but always flavorful Door Dash promo: over $15, free 6pc wings *** now be aware that the wings are coated with spicy seasoning in the fry batter or just on the chicken. All I know is when you bite into it, there is red seasoning and it's got a bite. So expect a bite. *** We opted for the honey bbq sauce and it was perfect Cole slaw: if you like a more mayo based slaw, this is for you Apple pie: so yummy! I have no complaints for this order“
“I went to right before they were closing like 15 minutes ago. They had mild chicken that time. I wanted 16 pieces spicy chicken and 3 fries. There was a tall guy there probably manager was so helpful, told me wait 10-15 minutes so I will get fresh chicken. So satisfied with food quality and behavior of employees.“
“Was my first time in New York so wanted Popeyes and this branch in Flushings Main St didn't disappoint! My sis ordered the bucket and some coleslaw and chips and everything was so generously served. I think we even got an extra 2 pieces of chicken in our box. And this round our coleslaw tasted fresh and lovely. My sis complained that the prev time she ate coleslaw here, it tasted off but it certainly wasn't this round. And the chips, wow! Such a generous portion, cheers! Really, really satisfied and happy“
“I took away a star because as I sat eating for almost 45 minutes, no one came from behind the counter to sanitize the tables as customers left. And this Popeyes is in an area that uses GrubHub, UberEATS, and other delivery services. However, they worked like a well functioning watch to have fresh food available for delivery, take out, and dining. "Love that chicken at Popeyes."“
“After yet another visit to Queens Hospital Center at 1, I had to skip lunch. Around 3 PM, I came in here. Since I already tried the ghost pepper wings I thought, I would try the blackened chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy version. The seats were packed so I had to take my order to go which took less than 10 minutes.I took out the sandwich from it's wrapper and insulated bag, It looked like it was covered in some orangish sauce with some pickles. It is a nice-sized thick piece of boneless chicken breast. The chicken is juicy. The spicy version is actually hotter than both the spicy crispy chicken sandwich and their ghost pepper wings. I wanted something to drink immediately but I held off. You can see the abundance of dried spices on the chicken.Would I order it again? Yes. Would I ensure I have something to cool off my mouth next time? Yes.“
“Never had an issue here. Last night they were completely out of fish but it was kinda late. They gave us anything we wanted within reasonable means for free & I'm getting my money back from the 3 fish sandwiches that I pre-ordered on the app. Always make the chicken sandwiches great! Some Popeyes aren't consistent with taste, texture or flavor. Great customer service!“
“That's the best popeyes louisiana kitchen i've ever seen.... Their food, atmosphere & staff are so kind. Additionally, Their service quality is so good they try to provide food within few moments.i ordered family feast, that was damn crazy,i think thats the best deal, for what everybody should try?“
“Covid -19 clean location, VERY CLEAN, so clean this is how is start my review! Yes I came for the spicy chicken sandwich with fries, both were smoking hot! I ordered to go but chose to dine in because I noticed alot of space was available and it was spotless! Food is good but the store is what got the 5 stars, keep it up!“
“Mind you, I don't really review fast food chains much. One, you already know what you're getting into. Two, it ain't going to beat most spots that make the same food by hand with more love and care. However, I have to give this spot a rating because whenever I go here, I am always satisfied. While many others have their own experiences, and have different 'expectations' for a fast food chain--or fast food in general--I want to put my experiences out there so you can make your own decision.Service, could be better but it all depends on who you get. There's a lady who seems to put up an attitude and just comes off as cold. Same for one who gives out the food and gets stingy with the sauces unlike a few others who treat you right. The man in blue, who I presume is the manager, provides great service whenever I'm there and lets me know when they need to make some fresh tenders, telling me it will a bit of a wait.As for the food, mine has always been fresh. I usually order Chicken Tenders with fries and a nice Chilled lemonade. Sometimes Chicken Nuggets, Popcorn Shrimp, or Chicken Thigh/Drumstick a la carte. Always delicious including their biscuits. They even put some extra and big Chicken Tenders in my box too which honestly--I'm not complaining--they treating me well. Probably because I'm one of the few customers who doesn't complain over the smallest thing. I just want to get in and get out quickly.Plus, I always order in person. I never trust ordering from fast food chains online. I'd rather walk there myself and make sure I get what I ordered. That's just me though.Overall, I like this spot and visit it once in a blue moon whenever I'm craving for Popeyes chicken. They treat me good, especially the night crew. Of course, some lady workers with attitude, but a very good manager who communicates. Fresh food that was never once under-cooked or over cooked. Maybe I've just been lucky, or people expect too much from a fast food chain.“
“The girl at the register was very hard to understand because her accent was very foreign. I had to ask her to repeat herself often. They don't have ranch and honey mustard dipping sauces even though it says it does on the price board. I was angry about that.“
