“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“

“Restaurant seems quiet and not much customer, we kind of skeptical whether foods or services are good? We ordered the famous stinky tofu, stew chicken with rice wines soups, pork with bamboo shoots and Fly’s Heads. We all loved it. The soups full of herbals and rice wines, chicken just perfectly cooked, the Fly’s Heads (chives)dish is delicious. Just so happy finally can enjoy the best and authentic Taiwan cuisine here in Flushing“

“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“

“Brown sugar boba tea!Get it!line wasn't bad. was clean and fast. They do indeed make the boba in front of everyone. No sitting area. Everything tastes fresh. I can appreciate when a company puts effort into their produce. I'd say it's the best in town and it has a lot of competitors in the heart of flushing. I left a tip. They did not notice but I know it will be appreciated. I'd recommend.“

“Wheel cake is a delightful treat that is popular in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. It features a round and crispy outer shell made from batter. The cake is filled with a wide range of flavors, ranging from sweet options like custard, butter taro, and red bean, to savory choices such as tuna corn salad and sautéed cabbage. We will make wheel cakes and invite people to taste. Attendes can also have a try.“

“Cash only. There is a parking lot in the back of the restaurant. This is my go to spot for Taiwanese pork chop over rice when I'm in the area. I've done both take out and dine in and the food is consistent. Pork chop is crispy; add an egg. Besides the Taiwanese pork chop over rice, the Stinky Tofu and the Clams with Basil were good as well.“

“Very dope boba spot with lots of claw machines filled with cute plushies! I got a Green Milk Tea with Boba and Whipped Taro which were pretty good. The taro was creamy and delicious. I would recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a cool spot to test your luck with the claw machines and get good boba. They also serve lots of fried snacks and food options.“

“I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and it was quite delicious. It was my first time trying it and I do believe for its price it is a good deal (My total was 15.20 dining in). The beef was flavorful and there was a generous portion of noodles. I would have liked a bit more beef but overall a great experience. I would say to try it out if you're ever in the area!“

“Perfect cold day to get a bowl of hot noodle soup. I've tried the flushing location before, so I had high expectations. This Elmhurst location was no different. The beef stew with hand-cut noodles - Super flavorful broth, with good heaping pieces of beef. The hand-cut noodles were al dente.Beef Stir Fried hand-cut noodles - This was okay in flavor, but the noodles were bouncy and chewy.Pork burger - More fat than pork meat. It was greasy but tasty.“

“I love good old Taiwanese breakfast on the weekends. It's totally worth getting up early for. It ends early at 11am, so don't oversleep. My favorites are the vegetarian panda fantuan, salty soybean milk, sweet soybean milk and radish pastry. It's so good. My mom said they have the best fantuan in Flushing. They also have shao bing (toasted sesame flat bread) and Dan bing (egg pancake) options for breakfast but I get the panda fantuan which is very filling. It's half purple and white rice with a fried cruller, stewed egg, and pickled radishes. I also like their oyster pancake and stinky tofu. I would like to try more dishes but usually go for the Taiwanese favorites since that's what I crave.“

“Although there are plenty of other bubble tea and boba spots all around, I like to come to Chun Yang for the feeling of exclusivity and well-crafted drinks complete on the menu, so there’s very little guesswork about adding or subtracting ingredients. They even recommend less sugar and ice relating to each drink, which is convenient as well. I try to order something new off the menu each time.“

“I've been consistently coming to Chimama's for several years now and my go to is their Niu Rou Mian (Beef noodle soup). It has never disappointed me and always hits home whenever I'm craving it. I also really like the concept of their restaurant, which is self service for drinks and utensils. The restaurant was packed when I arrived at 7:30pm on a Friday night. We ordered the fried pork chop over rice, a side of the pork belly, and of course my favorite beef noodle soup. Everything came out promptly and was plated nicely. The noodle soup had a deep and flavorful broth. The beef pieces were plentiful and super soft upon each bite. The noodles were perfectly bouncy yet firm and was the perfect thickness. The pork chop over rice isn't my favorite here since their pork chop is quite thin and isn't fried with the typical pork chop breading. I personally wouldn't get this again but will try other dishes.“

“Grandma was a very nice person. One night at 8:30, the store was already closed, so I called to place an order with the intention of giving it a try, but she still helped prepare the meal. Later I asked my grandma, and she said that it was closed, but the pot was still hot, but she tried her best to cook. I work outside and am warmed by my grandma’s kindness? The rice is delicious, and the soup, whether salty or sweet, is delicious.“

“I'll come back for braised port with dry noodles and luroufan. Pork chop over rice is a bit greasy and the bread crumbs was too thick. Probably won't order Tainan Bun Kueh again because the texture was more like mashed potato and not like the Kueh texture I am used to. Stream Glutinous oil rice (油飯) was good and would come back for it.“

“Great boba tea shop in LIC! Came in on a Saturday night and they were quite busy. There seemed to be lots of orders coming through from food delivery apps. I was initially confused when they didn't really acknowledge my presence when I tried to order at the counter, but then I saw they have a touchscreen ordering system in the back, so would recommend using that. I got the purple rice sago tea latte with 30% sweetness. It tasted amazing - I've never had purple rice as a boba filling before, but it added a lot of nice texture and flavors to the milk tea (and seemed like a healthier alternative to tapioca). They have a ton of different kinds of drinks not usually found at other boba shops so I'll def be back!“

“The best restaurant in New York, and the lady boss is also nice. The most important thing is that the milk tea in this store is full of details. The pearls are of two different sizes, which enriches the taste and keeps the taste from boring. Last time I ordered the Flaming Mountain Brown Sugar Milk. They also paid attention to details, adding sea salt cream on top and grilling it with flames...it was really perfect. This time it was Yangzhi Manna and Mango Thick Milk. I was amazed again. Oh my god, it tastes really good. Those who read negative reviews are telling lies with their eyes closed. Don’t believe it. This store is worth traveling half an hour to try!“

“The food ordered was tasty and very appealing. There is a good variety of choices and can be almost customizable. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you are given. Service was efficient and they were willing to work with me on the selections. Small but quality and quiet location.“

“Only Real Taiwan Fried Chicken in NYC! If you want the real Taiwan fried chicken in NYC, this is the only spot, period! I tried lots of places claiming themselves are Taiwanese , but they just couldn’t get the taste 50% right ?But stumbling upon this place was a happy accident. The chicken here is truly Amazing. It’s huge, too – enough to share with a friend. It reminded me of Taiwan’s night markets, which I miss a lot. I love it here and I’ll be back often. If you want authentic Taiwan fried chicken, come here. 100% won’t be disappointed!“
“Love QQ bakery- its close to my family and I’ve been going for a long time. Stopped for a while due to covid, but now that I’m staying with family, QQ has been a real life saver Its one of the only bakeries to be open early @ 6am. Their breads are delicious, warm and fresh- and best of all- a bang for your buck! I got 2 special breads and a breakfast scallion bread/pancake for less than $6. Absolutely crazy considering how much bakery prices have gone up. I saw that they also have tea egg, red bean pancakes and more for breakfast which ill try out later.I know its a bit far out from the “main” part of flushing but i love it!“

“I wish there is a 4.5 rating. I loved all the dishes tried except the wonton noodle soup. We had the traditional Taiwanese beef noodle soup, pickled green slice pork noodle soup, popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausages, and cold tofu, egg in sweet sauce. They were all delicious! You got to choose the type of noodle for your dish. Clean restaurant and great service on both visits“

“Can’t go wrong in anything you order, and the soup dumplings are very good. Cash only, and the servers and very attentive and nice! I highly recommend coming here for Shanghai / Taiwanese food. My personal faves are: pork belly / pork soup dumplings / shrimp with walnut and mayo“
“Always consistent and delicious food. The soup dumplings are always on point, but take out can lead to some of them popping open. It's best eating once they are ready. Cumin lamb, spicy beef noodle, minced pork, & items for kids like lomein & chicken and broccoli are always well made. There are many styles of Chinese cuisine and I feel like many bad reviews of this place are because lack of cooking and cuisine knowledge. The food is clean, consistent, and great. Don't trust people with a palate of a 5 year old“

“Overall a positive experience. Some of the dishes are really good. The eggplant and the steak are really well seasoned and tasty. The steak is also little crispy just the way i like it. However, the mapo tofu and the salt and pepper fish was lacking. The salt and pepper lacks seasoning and the mapo tofu was just bad. In terms of service, the lady was very nice. Might be because I speak Fuzhouese. The price is fair for what is was.“

“Checked out this spot as it was one of the only places in New Flushing Mall that took Apple pay. Though the drink was expensive, it was actually pretty good. I chose to get the feature drink because the pics of it sold me and it looked pretty tasty. I don't know if I'd pay $8 again for it, but it was pretty good, and that cup was HUGE. I couldn't finish it so I had my boyfriend finish it for me.“

“I love coming here for the beef noodle soup. Taking one star off though because I always order delivery from here when I can’t drive out to Elmhurst and I’ve noticed that they substantially decreased the amount of the fried appetizers (calamari and sweet potato) these past few times I’ve ordered.“
