“This is a lovely bar with a great atmosphere. The bartender was knowledgeable about their wine list and he made excellent cocktails. We were there on a night with live jazz, which was amazing. We did not have any food, but what we saw at other tables looked tasty.“

“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Astoria! My husband and I always bring friends and family here when they visit the neighborhood. The staff is always so incredibly nice and generous (Miljan is usually our server and is so attentive and hilarious). We always have a wonderful time here, whether it’s a quiet weekday lunch or a packed Saturday night.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. See you next week- if not before!!“
“Yes Mama is one of the best discoveries of Astoria this year!Jessica runs the business all by herself and does a damn good job of it! Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. There were even some board games for us the play with while we waited on our food.Topped off the night by splitting a plate of the coquito flan served with the most adorable heart shaped spoons. It was so rich and decadent. If you live in or venture out to Astoria, please please please pay this place a visit! You’ll be so happy you did!“

The Chicken Tagine was so tender and flavorful, the pasta with meatballs was just spot on to perfection. Everything about this place is amazing.. Would definitely return here.“

“At Via Trenta in Astoria, New York, every visit is like uncovering a hidden culinary treasure trove. It's become a tradition for my family and friends, and yet, each time feels as enchanting as the first. The menu is a testament to the chef's creativity, offering unexpected twists on Italian classics that keep us hooked. But what truly sets Via Trenta apart is its cozy atmosphere and heartfelt hospitality. From the moment we step inside, we're greeted like old friends, making every meal feel like a special occasion. And let's not forget the unforgettable dishes—like the indulgent truffle risotto and the heavenly tiramisu—that never fail to leave us craving more. Via Trenta isn't just a restaurant; it's a place where culinary magic happens, making every dining experience a journey of delightful surprises and cherished memories.“

“Let me first say that I am very selective when it comes down to coffee and dagny has very pleasantly surprised me. The coffee is strong and flavorful and the bakery items are very fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. No one bothers you so you can do your work without interruptions, if that’s what you are here for.Awesome music (Pink Floyd, Beach boys) that was not intrusive played in the background so I couldn’t ask for more. Will be back to try other items on their menu. As the need grows for this part of Astoria for more businesses, I am very happy to see places like Dagny opening up!“
“Came here for the frose, so reviewing the frose. Without the rum float it has a bitterness to it - not unpleasant, but I'd describe it as very rhubarb-forward. Add the rum float and suddenly the rhubarb is gone and all you taste is juicy strawberry goodness. Both ways were great, but the rum float really was incredible. It sounded bizarre to me at first, but Vintage knows their frose: trust them.“

“I've been meaning to leave a review for this restaurant for some time. From the moment I first came here, I knew I'd become a regular, and I definitely have. BEST Mexican restaurant in NYC. Food is always consistently amazing. I always order the chicken & shrimp tacos. Flavor is amazing. The margarita's are strong. The service is always spectacular. Every worker here is so so kind and attentive. One of my overall fav restaurants. I love it here“

“This is a neighborhood craft beer bar that consistently hosts cool community events both in its indoor and outdoor spaces, serves up bangin beer + hot dogs, and has a comfortable layed back vibe. What makes this bar special is how safe and welcomed I feel whenever I come in!“

“I really enjoyed my time here, it gives a nice trendy brunch atmosphere, the servers are very kind, friendly and also very attentive. Only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is two reasons, the wait for the bathroom was quite long and since it's a small space the line is visible, and the sangria I had just tasted like white wine with a splash of artificial juice, I was expecting like a rich tu casa style sangria. Really great music and ambiance, looking forward to my next visit“

“First visit here specifically for wine. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wine choices. The bartenders were friendly, lighting, romantically dim❤️ and live jazz to top it off. The happy hour wine was also great! The happy hour oysters were surprisingly meaty! Pasta was yummy! Will be returning to say the least!“

“Had brunch here - large space, no wait.Service was as expected in a New York diner - same with food cost. However, this is definitely a nicer than your average diner in terms of both ambiance and food quality - the corned beef hash was good and so was the breakfast quesadilla.“

“It was my first time visiting bee cafe. I order the chicken wings and salad with chicken. I was shocked by the environment and the atmosphere here! The magical bee garden. The staff was very friendly and the service was very enthusiastic. After tasting it, I felt that their food was very good. Very worth to try.Kid-friendliness: They have a big place to sit, chat and play. And their menu seems to be something that children will like too.“

“We stopped by on a Friday night after making a last minute reservation for 8pm. We weren't hungry enough for dinner so we thought it was the perfect place for some small bites. The place was full and the ambiance was fun without being too loud. We got the smoked sausage as well as the soppressata sandwich. Both were big portions which I did not expect and was pleasantly surprised. The smoked sausage was very good, its basically cut up hot dog pieces served with crispy bread and a spicy mustard for dipping. The hot dog was juicy and if you love hot dogs you will like this for sure. The sandwich was also delicious. The sopressata was fresh and the side salad made for the perfect refreshing side. Overall we were really blown away by the quality of the ingredients. Next time we will definitely try cleaner items as we were definitely sodium overloaded, but nothing some drinks and water couldn't wash down! Our server was very friendly and attentive, we can't wait to go back!“

“I went for their lunch special of two rolls for $11.95. It comes with miso soup or salad. I opted for the miso soup which was passable. I ordered the tuna avocado and salmon avocado rolls. They were good but wasn't the best I've ever had. The fish was fresh, no fishy smell or taste, and just the right amount of rice around the seaweed. The avocado added an element of creaminess that complemented the soft fish. The rice was a touch hard, however. The service was good. The waitress was attentive. The inside was neat and dimly lit for atmosphere. Not bad for a quick sushi lunch if you're in the area.“

“I've been here three or four times for dinner and I've enjoyed it every time. It's a great date night spot. I would say the prices reflect the quality of the food and service. I would recommend the oxtail croquettes, duck two ways, roast chicken, and halibut.“

“We went for dinner and wow! The ambiance is amazing and the owner is so kind. It was a weird dinner as a car flipped over at the intersection and all of that to say, the owner was so kind and compassionate! Would recommend checking it out! Thought the food was good but not amazing - it may just be me! Try it out!“

“Great place for group as you can try a larger assortment of dishes. Meat on the skewers are a bit sparse per the style but the taste is great. Also really enjoyed the cucumber and double beef apps, real punch of flavor. The golden soup broth was also really rich. Also was fun to try out different flavors of the wine! Service was nice and food came out quickly. There’s also a little bar with some snacks that were nice to have while waiting.“

“I give 4 stars and it is because of the food, I did not like at all the treatment that a specific employee gave us, I went with my partner and from the moment they sat us at the table we got the impression that no one wanted to serve us, if there were not It was because of a very kind lady who took care of us, we would have stopped and left the restaurant, after a while we ran out of what we had ordered to drink and we couldn't find the lady who took our order so we We asked another employee, the employee approached us, we asked him what we wanted, he looked at us badly and then he left, if it hadn't been for the fact that I suddenly saw and called the lady from the beginning to order it with her, the other person didn't We would have brought nothing to the table, a shame really because the food was very good & the truth is if it hadn't been for that lady this review would have been even worse“

“You would be hard pressed to find a better atmosphere, more delicious pasta, or a more well crafted cocktail anywhere else in Astoria. Combine that with the outstanding service everyone there provides, and you have yourself a hidden gem in Botte Bar. One of my wife and I favorite restaurants and one we come back to again and again. Now that they are opening a location on Ditmars even closer to us, we will most definitely be enjoying the intimate atmosphere even more frequently! We hope you will too!“

“The restaurant ambiance is excellent, exuding a nostalgic vibe. There is a diverse range of burgers, and the one we tried successfully integrated the meat, cheese, and bun. However, the dishes beyond burgers are not particularly outstanding. Moreover, the restroom's decor is quite interesting. The service is prompt, and the servers are cool. In conclusion, it's a place suitable for those who appreciate a trendy atmosphere.“

“What attentive service from the minute we walked in! A friend found this place, which I didn't know about at all. We all took take out containers home because lunch special portions were generous. There is also a hibachi set up, although we ordered off their regular lunch menu. I want to come back during dinner and try other dishes. There are only two rest rooms, but they're clean and maintained. This neighborhood place is worth traveling down to from other places.“

“AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING STAFF ? ❤️Came here for a friend's birthday and had a pretty good experience. It was a set menu because of the number of people in our group. The appetizers were yummy but weren't a fan of the wedge salad because I don't like blue cheese, and they can't separate it from the dish, which was a bummer. The main course steak was delicious with a perfect medium rare ? for dessert it was apple pie and ice cream, which was a perfect match and great ending. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff were super attentive. The only thing was that we waited quite a while for each dish of food, which made us a little annoyed because we were hungry.“
