“This is by far one of the best place for a sushi if you want real Japanese food. Not a typical Sushi restaurant like most in the area. Rolls and sushi just have the exact amount of rice vinegar in them. There's not too many that are owned and operated by Japanese restaurant owners nowadays. The place is very warm and quiet which is the most ideal place to eat in.“

“Been getting sushi from Yasuda for years. Excellent in all regards. Quality, taste and service 10/10. We are fortunate enough to have great sushi in Kingston and this is one of the best spots to get it. I recommend getting the seaweed salad with every order. Staff are very sweet and always seem to be having fun.Dietary restrictions: Gf, V friendly“

“The salmon roll and demon roll special is delicious and the wait was 10-15 minutes for takeout. I've been here a few times, the dining room is always calm and the staff is always diligent. Great ambiance, the lighting is soft and the music is very zen. Definitely stop by to enjoy their various fresh fish.“

“Wonderful sushi, the best I've had to date in the Hudson valley. Small, comfortable location. Decent amount of parking considering how busy Rhinebeck gets. Have to have a little patience in our hurried world as good food is worth waiting for. Will definitely returnParking: Off street parking lot with enough space for this location and the others that share the parking lot.“

“My favorite restaurant in the known universe. Been coming here since 2005, and feel like a family member returning home every time I walk in. The sushi chef, Marco, is a master of his craft and the nicest guy. The tekkaba roll is a must, but everything here is great.“

“We ordered this via DoorDash. The food came hot and the rolls were good. But we had 4 people order rolls (8 rolls total) and they didn't label what rolls were in which container. So we spent 20min looking at each description on the menu and guessing whose roll was whose. The rolls were good but I felt like they used a lot of the same ingredients with very minor changes in the rolls. So there wasn't a lot of diversity. I also got the Singapore Mei Fun, mild. The flavor was good. But it was very oily. The chicken in it tasted like it was fat strips with seasoning on it. It definitely wasn't actual chicken. Overall it was good.“

“Authentic! Sushi made by SushiMakio's chef with no doubts are the very best sushi i have had in the past 10 years. I was mesmerized by the famous chef , doing his art right there on the other side of the counter. I actually felt like I'm reliving "Kill Bill 2" scene when she had sushi in Japan. What else to say, we are very fortunate to have this level of expertise in town. Parking is hard to find , come early and plan ahead ! Thank you chef !For those people writing reviews here disappointed with portion vs price ratio : this is a place of food art not a fast food. If you need to stuff your bellies on a budget, your best bet is buffet or hot case in grocery store. Chef skills, selection of produce and all together decent way fo running thr place went into pricing .“

“Wayyyyy better than your average buffet but the selection was not spectacular; I wish they had more seafood and meifun for dinner ( they only have it at lunch. ) Gave it 5 stars because the prices are amazing and the staff there is wonderful. Will come back again and again.“

“I’ve heard for many years this place was good and my sister and I just had the opportunity to try it. It’s authentic and most importantly fresh. The Japanese owners are very nice.I’m particularly critical of Asian food as it is something I grew up with. As a Japanese American I have to say this is the best sushi place I’ve been to upstate. I’ve tried a few places in the area and hands down Hana Sushi is the best. Can’t wait to take my Japanese father here!“
