“I’ve only ever ordered on DoorDash (I’m a bit of a homebody) but I was BLOWN AWAY by how good their sushi burritos are! Easily the best sushi I’ve had. All of the ingredients taste so fresh, even after the 15-20 minute drive to my house! I’m not a huge tea fan, but love popping bobas, so I just order it with extra sugar! Today, I tried their macarons and they were also unbelievably delicious. I am so glad to have this restaurant as an option in my city!“

“To start off the atmosphere is very refreshing and upbeat. It also is very clean. I got the soft shell crab to start with and it was a great portion on top of being delicious. I also got the 3 fish sushi tacos and let me tell you, I am a sushi connoisseur and they were delightful. The tortillas were the perfect thinness and the flavors popped in the tacos. It was honestly everything I could want or except in a raw taco. Owner was very nice and enjoyed our conversation. I totally recommend this place!“

Because her diet has to be strictly gluten free, it can be hard to find great tasting food in the area. “Whenever I want something quick and healthy with fresh greens, i usually turn to bespoki. their poke tastes fresh, they have fast service and they have a lot of other more satiating, meaty dishes with korean and hawaiian influence. it's a pretty reliable place tonget a quick lunch. they also have korean bingsoos now. i've been wanting bingsoo so bad since moving to troy. so stoked they have it now!“

I must have ordered take out 100 times and they are incredibly consistent in quality food and are always quick.Eating in the restaurant today was nothing less than excellent. The service is spectacular, the food is even better being so fresh out of the kitchen. Small relaxed atmosphere, and perfectly clean.I 100% recommend TOMO enough. “BEST all you can eat sushi in Albany. Most people know other restaurants for their all you can east sushi but Ruby City is way way better. Appetizers are included in the all you can eat, the sushi are big!, the lighting is nice, the decorations are lovely, it’s clean, the service is amazing, and the most importantly the food is sooo good. Get their gyoza! We got like three servings lol.This is our new sushi spot “

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

The atmosphere is nice and the menu is huge which I don't mind. The tea should have been served in tea cups not glass cups. Keep up the good work. It's a new sushi restaurant so it will take time for them to improve. Come on in and try them out.“

“Unagi is the BEST Sushi place in the area! During the Coronavirus Pandemic, they were closed for a few months and my partner and I were forced to eat from other Sushi places and ugh. None of the other sushi places on the East side of the River are as friendly, fresh, or as customer-minded as these guys. We went to other other places where the portions were skimpy, food wasn't fresh, they forgot our chopsticks, soy sauce was expired, poor customer service, etc. We've NEVER had any issue with Unagi. Every time we order out or dine in the experience is a 10/10. My partner and I used to live 10 mins away from Unagi and we would get it about once a week. Now that we live closer to 30 mins away, while we may not get it once a week, we will definitely make the drive for Unagi. Nothing else compares. My favorite is the 50 & 50 Roll :)“

“Great service. Delicious food. Cod was cooked to perfection with a cream coconut curry sauce that I could've guzzled by the jar. Drinks were fabulous. My only complaint is to no fault of the restaurant rather society's lack of respect for fancier places like this. Have a little more respect when dining at a nice place than coming with a baseball cap, bright neon runners jacket and dirty band t shirts. Save that for the pubs.“

They even made us new, fresh spring rolls when we were delayed in picking up our order one evening, rather than just reheating them in the microwave or some other method that would compromise the quality. “Many of my favorite dishes are foreign cuisine changed up for an American audience--the Philadelphia roll, General Tso's, Taco Salad, BBQ chicken pizza. You might not think the reverse would appeal to someone like me, but I love Kong Dog, which is basically hot dogs and mozzarella sticks made to appeal to Koreans. The dogs and cheese sticks are excellent, savory, sweet, crunchy AF. I highly recommend this place.“
