As a queer couple it can be intimidating to reach out to businesses, but we felt extremely safe and supported by them. Rachel was so awesome to work with. “My husband and I rented out Nelly’s Treats Bakery for our daughter’s second birthday party at the end of March. The space was so cozy and intimate, perfect for a smaller gathering of family and close friends. Renel was so lovely in making us feel invited to the space, she allowed us to arrange the tables and chairs and hang decorations as we liked. Our family and friends loved the vibe!We also ordered a 6” custom birthday cake for the occasion. Renel created a beautiful cake based on inspiration photos I sent. My guests were so impressed. The cake was very good! Two small criticisms were that the cake was not fully defrosted and I think this may have made the cake a bit denser in texture than you would get if it was not frozen. But everyone still loved it!“

“This is a cash-only bakery that seems to operate as a wholesaler but allows walk-in retail sales. It’s mostly hard rolls and sub rolls sold here. The rolls have a crispy outer shell but are soft and chewy inside and have an outstanding taste.“
