“They prioritize health over flavor so don't go here expecting super flavorful food. I had the Bison burger and sweet potato fries. It was quite good although I didn't taste any salt, I don't think they add salt or very little. You have to ask for it. The buns were yummy and toasted and kinda sweet. The burger was good and tasted fresh although not a lot of flavor. Overall it's a good spot if you looking for a healthier option, and if you're a gym guy. The people are also very friendly and talk with a nice tone.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“This is the best pizza I have ever had, nice crisp, light crust with just the right amount of toppings, no grease at all. I live in CT and thought no pizza was better than our New Haven ones, boy was I wrong!!! Looking forward to returning……soon!“

“After a nice visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, my girlfriend and I were craving some pizza. L & B Spumoni Gardens seemed like the perfect spot to try a different style of pizza. We managed to find parking easily despite the seemingly packed lot. As we joined the line outside, we were unaware of the indoor seating until I went to check, which turned out to be a huge plus. Once seated, we ordered the Sicilian Square Pizza with mushrooms on top. The pizza exceeded our expectations, with the perfect balance of thickness and crispiness that we both enjoyed. However, my girlfriend noted that she would prefer the mushrooms cooked a bit more. Despite this minor critique, we both agreed that L & B Spumoni Gardens offers exceptional pizza, and we would gladly return for another meal.“

“This is not a negative about the pizza whatsoever, it’s just that the hours listed online are not reflective of the hours of the restaurant. It says it’s open till 10:00 PM but I arrived at a little before 930 and restaurant is completely dark. Please update! Thanks.Edit: thanks for letting us know about why it was closed. You’re back to 5 stars :)“

“All the walk ins were already booked when we showed up right at open (5pm on Sat), but they put us on the waitlist. Luckily, around 8pm we got a text saying to come in at 8:45. A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area. The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious. The ambiance was amazing. You get to see the chefs and the process of pizza making if you get seated close enough. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.“

The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“

“We recently had our daughters baptism dinner at Trattoria L'incontra and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was enjoyable and accommodative. Alfredo and his team were extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. During our meal, Chef Rocco came out to ask how everything was and even brought us another pasta course to try on the house. The food was truly exceptional. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Overall, I highly recommend Trattoria L'incontra to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of excellent service and delicious food makes it a standout restaurant in the area. I can't wait to go back!“

“This is my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. And they have the best pizza in the city in my opinion. I’m Italian and it’s very hard to find true Italian pizza!! But you can definitely find it at Aromi. You can also chat with the owners and the staff, they are really kind and the service is awesome. Also they have real delicious mascarpone and every time I ate that I wanted to cry because it reminds me of Italy! Really recommended!“

“Beautiful place to eat. It was sunny when we went and it was super comfortable on the terrace. The food was delicious and the quantities were quite large.I especially recommend the pesto pasta and the mushroom pizza. The chocolate ice cream was also spectacular, you could tell it was homemade. Finally, I would like to say that we were served by a Venezuelan girl who was a wonderful person.“

“Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. Solid option!“

“Note: Review based on Pizza making class/experience.The atmosphere is so intimate and cozy. All pizzas are made in a wood fire oven. Chef Salvatore is passionate about his pizzas and loves to help the people in the class. We had a great experience. The ingredients were great and easy to handle. Don’t need any level of cooking experience to do the class. You get appetizers (salad + meatballs), followed by pizza and marshmallow Nutella dessert pizza. You mainly just roll out your dough and put toppings on. More of a date activity than a cooking class, loved it and will be back to try pizzas made by the chef.“

“We stopped by Roberta's for dinner after a comedy show. It was pouring out but Roberta's was packed and required a bit of a wait. We were seated in the back area where there was ample seating. We ordered: + Stracciatella: we attacked this appetizer once it came to our table. This dish came with two slices of bread which was enough for the big blob of cheese. + Marinated Olives: these were delicious and were fun to eat with our drinks + Little Gem Salad: this salad was refreshing, crunchy, and delicious. + Margherita Pizza: a basic margherita pizza done well. The crusts were also divulged (that's when you can tell the pizza is good). +Ice Cream Sandwich: we ended our dessert with their recommended sticky bun and ice cream dish. This was delicious and well worth the try. They tried to market it as a cinnamon roll but it is definitely much better than that. The staff was fun. They came by often to check on us but let us alone to chill for as long a we wanted. Cheers.“

“Gorgeous space, food was amazing. Would definitely come back to try more items off the menu. This time, I had the opportunity to try the hot mess with prosciutto on top. It was delicious. Went at an odd time between 2-3 so place was very quiet. However, it you can do not miss out if you are in the area and try this place out.“

“Supposedly the best pizza in NY. After trying 5 places, I believe it. I am really beyond shocked that I've had so much better pizza in so many other places than NYC. Not many flavors, not a whole lot of flavor in them. It's not bad, but I expected so much better. There is not much seating, dirty, and overcrowded.“

“Adult pizza place. We chose an app, a pasta (on special), and a pizza. Our simple palettes chose the Margherita pizza, the pasta assasina (assassin's pasta), and the fried calamari & zucchini app. First of all, every ingredient in everything tasted extremely fresh, down to the basil on the pizza. The calamari is now on my list of favorite calamaris out there! It was light, tender, piping hot and fresh, and the zucchini mixed in was a nice added flavor. It came with lemon wedges and some kind of mayo-based-tasting sauce. Fantastic! The pizza was rustic, purposely irregularly shaped, and fresh. It was thin on the bottom with a toasty tasting crust. With the other 2 dishes also ordered, we split this approximate 10" pie. We likened it to Patsy's. The assassin's pasta was described as cooked in sauce rather than water and then baked with some cheese and chili oil. It was crunchy, and flavorful, but not something I'd order as my meal. It was a good crunchy side to the pizza, and was kinda reminiscent of frying leftover spaghetti to a crunchy texture. The chili oil added a pleasant twist. There are many other pizzas on the menu, but we chose the simple, non-fussy one. But if you're into pizza that's a little different you'll enjoy it here! The small dining room was warm and rustic, and the service was great!“

“The Best Pizza in NYC! - If you want the best pizza in NYC you have to go to Pop's Pizza. I'm a native New Yorker of 50 years and Pop's Pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC. They make a perfect slice... thin crispy crust with fresh sauce, toppings and ingredients. If you like garlic, you have to try the Margarita but no matter what you order every slice is amazing and the owners are fantastic. ?“

“One of the best Detroit styled pizza places I've been to in New York! The pizzas are so doughy and cheesy, with a really delicious caramelized crust. The star of the meal for me was the white sesame pizza. So creamy, so cheesy, the perfect balance between savory and sweet.“

“Torn between 3 and 4 stars. Was one of the better pizzas during our visit. For outside of NYC it would be 8 stars out of 10 but for NYC it’s probably closer to 5 out of 10. Passes the flip test. Like the sauce flavor. Good balance of cheeses goodness. The crust was just meh. I usually eat the crust and this one I had to pass on hence the rating. Went twice so good enough to return. Did like the clean area inside and lots of tables for seating.“

“Since our arrival the staff has been super friendly, and for those whose English is a problem, it is solved because everyone speaks Spanish. And the food is spectacular! The spaghetti with meatballs are tremendous, and the pizza is delicious and made with fresh products. The portions are very large and you will have leftover food, but they provide you with tupperware to take away. Highly recommended!“

“My partner and I were blown away by our dinner at Decades. The drinks we had were fabulous, I loved the "In Conclusion." The pizza is the perfect combo of Neopolitan and New York style pizza. “What a great place. I went here spontaneously for my birthday because a friend suggested it. It was totally worth it.We started with the Antipasto plate, then went to the vegan pasta bollente pizza, what I didn't realize at the time came with a pretty spice chilli, and finish with a bread pudding slice. We also had a couple of cocktails, which made the bill a little pricey, but if you didn't have drinks, it would be pretty affordable. The Antipasto plate was a great addition to the meal. The meats were scrumptious and the accoutrements added exactly what you would want for a antipasto plate. $24The Patata bellente was really good but if you don't like spicy food, steer clear of this one. I thought the potatoes would help subside the spice, but it was still very spicy. If you like spice this is the one for you. $18I can't remember what the bread pudding cost or even seeing it on the menu, but it was outstanding!!! Not to sweet, not too bready, it was just a bit of joy with every bite.Id definitely come back, and not just for a special occasion.“

“Yooo this is one of my favorite Italian take-out restaurants in the neighborhood. Their food is not only delicious, but their prices are too good to ignore. Been ordering from this place for a few years now and they really never disappoint me. Love their grandma pie, their Caesar chicken salad and their penne vodka sauce! It came with a roll that was so soft and fresh. I recommend this place for its good food and budget friendly menu.“
