The only good bar in the entire neighborhood, and great overall. It's the oldest bar in NYC (aside from one in Wall St.) - You might recognize it from GoodFellas.Worth going out of your way for the history, and worth coming to just because. They play the sports games with the volume on. Have to love it.
My friend had been dying to come here so we took advantage of their BOGO burger offer. The reviews, establishment, history and food did not disappoint. And it's true, the Neirs burger IS the best! Nostalgic to be back in the old neighborhood - I lived about 5 houses away in the '80s and '90s.

My husband and I had such a great time at Neir's. It has such an interesting history, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A very fun neighborhood restaurant and bar. We'll definitely come back next time we're in NYC.
