“A group of 6 of us there to celebrate a family member's birthday tonight. First time there. WOW! -were we impressed with the food and service! Two of us had the Abruzzi sandwich, and four of us had burgers which were all done perfectly. My son said the french onion soup was delicious and I had the best ever Italian wedding soup( special) I ever had in my life!. The service was outstanding! Nice patio! Planning on going back to try more menu items as all were delicious-even the fries were great. Can't wait to go back!“

“I hate leaving outstanding reviews anymore, only because the place starts getting overwhelmed, the staff gets burnt out, and conditions seem to get worse. This place very much deserves the risk of that outstanding and 5-star review. Kudos to those that run it. I would only hope that expansion is in the future to ease what's to follow from its success. “Seemed like a cool, small place. About half a dozen taps and several domestic and Canadian bottled beers as well as a full bar. Bartender was very friendly and talkative. There was a food menu but I didn't try any of it so I'm not sure if it's good. It's bigger than it looks, pool table in the back with a few high top tables. I think it's cash only but they do have an ATM.“

“Stopped in for brunch and my wife and I got the breakfast pizza tooped with fried eggs. I was on the fence about it but...this thing was DELICIOUS! I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Also a big fan of the tots and mac and cheese bowls. Food is always good, always a friendly crowd, and the service is always on-point. The staff is friendly, engaging, and go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. One of our favorite stops.“

“The Lizard has "skiing dippers", a chicken wing-nugget without breading. They taste great, and I feel good eating them. Many different beers, a happy staff, and a good vibe.Update- It's been awhile since I visited. The wings were overcooked, tasted bad to me, maybe I've been spoiled by another chain- BW3s. I had to return them. They were kind enough to take the wings off of my bill and I ordered something else, but they asked so many questions, and told me that they talked to the chef, and there is actually nothing wrong with the wings. I felt bothered, they did this 5 or 6 times. The healthy option of "skinny dippers" is no longer a thing.The refund was much appreciated, and maybe my taste buds have changed. I do appreciate the refund for the bad tasting wings. I'm leaving 5 stars, don't want to give the business or the people a low score.“

“Our church Dinner Group had a wonderful meal at Veranda this week. The Tomahawk was a big favorite! All 22 of us ate on the patio and our waitress was exceptional getting meals out and taking care of our bills in a timely, friendly manner.“

“Went to the Avon location for lunch with my grandsons. I was worried as it took a bit of time to get a table even though we were the only ones in line and there were a number of open tables. Well my worries were for naught. The service turned out to be awesome and the food was great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual place with good food, good drinks and great service!“

“Food was great. My only complaint would be the Queso. It came to the table luke warm but the flavor was good. The birria torta was great but wish it came with a side of consommé to dip the sandwich in cause it was a little dry but very flavorful. The chili was delicious!“

My husband had the Chicken Picatta, which was, unfortunately, overcooked, but our server, Kelly, was fantastic and exchanged his meal for one perfectly cooked. Kelly saved the day! “Nothing like Close Quarters. I lived in Westlake for 2 years in 97-99. This was my favorite watering hole. The atmosphere was unlike any other place that I have been. I traveled throughout the Great Lakes. You feel like you are home with friends the first time you walk through the doors.“

“My family and I were there for the soler eclipse, weekend. We walked in sat down at the bar, everyone was extremely friendly, kind, nice, polite, warm and welcoming. We had just come from another bar around the corner called SPEAK OF THE DEVIL they were rude unwelcoming talked about us eclipse people like really what are they doing here. Never went back there again. Back to Brass & Bronze we had the tacos the 1st night amazing. We went back the second night the kitchen had just closed so we had a drink then one of the owners came over and said I know how to make pizza I can make you pizza. So that is what we had for our 2nd night s dinner. We went back the next day for the eclipse for lunch about 1 again amazing. We meet the President of the city Council Joel Arredondo and his wife they sat outside with us and watched the eclipse. Again very welcoming, they had their daughter’s wedding at this restaurant. I recommend this place extremely high. We had the best weekend in a long time“

“Authentic Taiwanese food which is a rare find in the area! The Taiwanese Yan Su Chicken was really delicious. The dang dang noodle and spicy beef noodle were just like what you would get in Taiwan. The chef and staff were very friendly and the dining area was clean and comfortable.“

“Great hole in the wall bar where there are usuals rather than random patrons. If you're looking for a place to become a regular at then this is the place. They have one pool table and darts. Food is coming soon as the city approves. They didn't have my liquor of choice but they did have three kinds or Crown so I settled but the more I go and become a regular then they said they would definitely stick my drink. Friendly crowd, very welcoming and open to conversation. Simply put, I had a great time with my brother and felt right at home.“
