“First time here and it was worth the drive. We got Salmon Benedict, blueberry pancakes, a Greek omelet, home fries, toast, sodas and chili to go. Exceptionally welcoming, friendly , attentive staff like others have mentioned. The (owner/manager?) brought us some complimentary baklava that he promised was (a) made without honey yet (b) would be the best we've ever had. I was very skeptical but he was right. The pancakes were fluffy and loaded with fresh berries; the omelet was loaded with fresh spinach w plenty of feta; my wife loved the salmon Benedict. Large portions- had to get the chili to go because it sounded so good. Simple, and quirky decor - gnomes, Christmas trees, a bit out dated but fun and spotless. Spotless bathroom and I'm pretty sure I used the very first electric hand dryer ever manufactured. Great place. Support it.“

If you want their amazing strudel's get their early - they sell out quickly. Open for lunch from 11-2. Afterwards check out the meat market next door. “This is THE SPOT!Small grub spot in the Portage Lakes area with outstanding service and food! Clean and cool atmosphere. Hand breaded Cod is better than places I have had on the CA coast. Fresh cut fries and fresh Broasted chicken is absolutely delicious and the portions leave you full and satisfied.This is a must if your are in the area. Its actually worth a half day drive through Ohio to visit. ?“

“It's definitely NOT a pick up joint, but more like an old mans type of bar, but it's fun, cozy and friendly. Its a private club, by membership only and you have to have someone who's already a member to sponsor you for your membership. Its paid yearly, ($30? If I remember)The food is ok, its bar food so almost eveything is fried but still tasty. DRINKS ARE CHEAP!I I paid $2.75 for a large vodka and cranberry and honest to God thought it was a typo when we got the bill! The service is incredible. SO many people on the weekends, but Samantha, the bartender, always remains calm and friendly, while buzzing around like a hummingbird making sure everyones drink is full.There's a large room in the back for small partiesThere's a few TVs on the wall, (fun during Browns games) and a jukebox. “Finally stopped in after seeing it on social media. It's a small dive bar but don't let that fool you, the food was very good. I had a meatball sub and the meatballs tasted homemade.Met the owner and she was super friendly and talked with our group about the place. It was are servers first day, but she did very well. Will be back for sure in the near future.“
