The dirty, littered outside should have warned us away, but we stuck it out. The inside gave the impression of dirty, and the table was sticky. This too should have warned us away. When I asked if they had caffine free diet soda, the kid waiting on us just pointed to the back of the store. This should have warned us away. Ooopps! The food was not impressive. We will listen to our "should haves" from now on.

Never have I seen such cruelty from a Muslim. My son and I came to this brother today during Ramadan to order iftar. Immediately entered the restaurant , one of the brothers started yelling at us close, even though it was during open hours. They had the Quran blasting in the background as we walked in. One would think the recitation of the Holy Quran in the background would touch their heart. As we were looking for food to break our fast. I'm so disappointed, even after explaining that we were new to town and had found this halal restaurant through Google. May Allah have mercy on them. I will not spend another penny at this restaurant. I urge fellow Muslims to stay away from this restaurant.

In a world where many restaurants charge arbitrarily high prices for food, baladi is a wonderful place! The Muhammara is great, the salads are great.

The prices are SO HIGH! the “vegan cheese” as advertised on their menu is not vegan! The bread has so little amount of cheese it’s embarrassing. The zaatar manakeesh is so little it’s like the size of an iPhone and they charge 5 dollars each. The food tastes good but the prices are crazy because of the small portion size. It’s like eating at a very fancy place.

I was seeking Baklava in the city and came across Baladi online. I added a basbousa as well. Both of the sweets were amazing! Super delicious and flavorful with just the right amount of sweet. Will be returning for sure and highly recommend. Fast and friendly service as well.

Cincinnati is a scary place.Baladi's had free, off-street parking, which was just heavenly compared to the other places we were looking at. Desperation had long set in by this time.Parking: Small off street parking lot.
