“Today I traveled from Florida to Cincinnati. My sister and I wanted to get a bite to eat . We didnt want to get fast food that you could get on every corener . While leaving the airport I Googled restaurants close by . There were several to choose from however, we decided on Pig Candy BBQ this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was amazing ( we had the special which was the brisket sandwich) this sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. If you are just traveling through or a local or feel up to a drive this is definitely worth your time .The staff knows what customer service means . All around Great food and service. A MUST STOP....... THANK YOU !!“

“A real Cincy gem. Fast, friendly, and courteous staff. It is often hard to find this style of cuisine in the states. I look forward to my next meal here.The curry laksa was quite good. I also had the nasi lemak with beef rendang (delicious) and BBQ pork and won ton noodles dry style (amazing). The pulled black tea with condensed milk, teh tarik, was very good; brought back childhood memories on the road sides of southeast Asia.This restaurant has become a favorite of mine after a single visit.“

“This restaurant came as a suggestion from a coworker, so a few of us on the team stopped by and ate lunch. Service was great. Restaurant clean, inviting, and offered plenty of seating. Food was hot, freshly cooked and good. Kinda a different dining experience in that you walk down a buffet line and place your items of choice in a bowl only to have someone at the end of the line walk up and discuss sauce choices. Upon completion you take to the counter where it's cooked in front of you while you wait. I left feeling full but not like I over ate. Definitely a must try!!“

“If you ask how I want the burger cooked, you got to deliver. I said medium, and I got well done, not burnt or dry though. It was still juicy and seasoned fine. It was just "eh". A $16 burger should make want to come back. Fries were seasoned well and crispy.“

“I always made sure to judge a BBQ joint based on the ribs, burger or pulled pork sandwich. I got 4 bones and mac and cheese with 'make it dirty' for sides. They also gave coleslaw and sweet dip. It was so good, I didn't care that I had it…...“

“We had Sweets and Meats cater our daughter's engagement party and were very pleased with the food and the service. We had the pulled pork and pulled chicken along with macaroni and cheese. All of our items were outstanding and the barbecue sauce was excellent. We would definitely order from Sweets and Meats again!“

“My experience was great here. I was in town for a marathon and needed something somewhat clean but good taste and good portions. First, the place is small and not the best for large parties or really eating in, but dine in is available. All of your food will come in to go style( packaged and bagged) the menu. I decided to stop in because not to many places offer smoked turkey tips! The turkey tips were amazing. Full of flavor NO SAUCE NEEDED as a bbq spot should be. I also had the smoked salmon, which was ok. The sides I had were the greens cabbage mixed, which were tender and seasoned. With such a good experience for my tastebuds, I had an even better experience having a life conversation with the owner. Just hearing his background and getting his views on life made me a fan of his brand as a whole. Whenever I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in for good food and vibes.“

“I would recommend Velvet Smoke BBQ in white oak. One of the best bbq places I have ever had and it comes out of a small mom and pop shop. The ribs, burnt ends, and the wings are by far my favorite. Best BBQ in town, and I would recommend it to anyone that I know. If you are in the Cincinnati, OH area you need to check out this place!! 10/10!“

“I have been staying at The Phelps for business. I frequently get in late, and quite frankly do not feel like going out. The Phelps Bar is the perfect solution. I have been staying at The Phelps Hotel on and off for roughly a month so far. I have had most of their menu items and have yet to have one that has not been excellent. They recently changed their food and drink menu, so there are many new items to try. They have an outstanding "Signature Drink" Menu. My favorite is the Fig & Rosemary Old Fashioned that is hands down the very best Old Fashioned I have had anywhere, and that includes The Greenbrier Resort. The staff are all amazing and help to make the experience even better. My hat is off to Mark (I think he is the manager), Kat and Tynisa who run the bar, and David the cook. If you find yourself in the Downtown Cincinnati area close to the stadiums, then you really should try The Phelps Bar. You will not be disappointed.“

“Vegetarian options: Not very good for vegetarians. My wife got the Country Veg plate and it came with a hunk of steak bleeding into the baked potato. The server then told us the baked potatoes are also not vegetarian and rubbed in bacon grease. She had to get Mac and cheese instead.“

Red beans & rice: Delicious & vegan. Corn bread: Deliciously buttery & soft. Yams: Good & sweet. Mac & Cheese: Needs richer cheese. Taste ok with yams. Greens: Taste ok with mac & ch. “The server and food were good, but this place loses a star due to the manager on duty. Seriously corporate needs to review this guys attitude. He was a older larger guy, that was just conceding to just about everyone. I luckily didnt have to deal with him, but just from observation, he talked down to two different parties in the 5 mins I was waiting, questioning if they knew what location they called ahead, telling them they can stay or just leave, etc. I get it was busy and stressful, but if you cant deal with it, then buddy you are in the wrong business.“

“This place is cool. I really don't think I need to say more but I will! The theater is clean and has been updated since the first time I went over 10 years ago. The real draw is everything else though. A full bar with good options made by RJ themselves. Great food and a fun place to sit down provides a for a fun time. During the summer, they open a big turf area to sit outside and have some yard games for everyone to enjoy.“

Unfortunately, we arrived 10 mins before they closed due to heavy traffic , I literally was only there maybe 15 mins, and all I have to say is that their customer service is outstanding I spoke to a young lady name, Honesty , I absolutely loved her she was so sweet and so kind VERY helpful ❤️ me and my family will definitely be back to dine at this restaurant simply because I just love their customer service they truly treat you like family.“
