one of the best restaurants in Greater cincinnati. the food is impeccable. their attention to detail and their service levels are unequivocally better than anybody else's around.
I purchased the CincySavers gift certificate for this restaurant and we were excited to try something new. We ordered fried calamari (our favorite) but when it came to us it wasn’t crispy at all, actually mushy, and very, very chewy. We didn’t ask for it to be taken off the bill, we just said we didn’t really like it. I’m never one to complain at restaurants. But then the rest of our food came out and we were pretty disappointed for how expensive it was. We decided to just get the check and head out. When I went to pay with my gift certificate, the manager on duty told me that he wouldn’t take it because I didn’t print it. I showed him in the certificate where it says the customer only needs to bring their phone with the barcode. He said he can’t scan the barcode, and he started arguing loudly with me back and forth. I was super embarrassed and he continued to argue with me very close to my face. I suggested that they shouldn’t sell the vouchers online if customers aren’t able to redeem them in the store. I asked the hostess about it and immediately she took care of it with no questions asked. On the way out my boyfriend stopped to ask the manager nicely if they were able to get the voucher to work, because we didn’t want them to not get their credit for it, and he just kept telling us to leave that it’s taken care of. Just a heads up to anyone else that saw this place on CincySavers and was thinking about trying it. There are much better Greek restaurants near colerain and they’re half the price. And I’ve never had any of the service staff there argue in my face.
