“Cafe Alma is one of my favorite brunch spots in Cincinnati. I brought my friends here for their first time, and it did not disappoint! We got cocktails which were delicious. The Mediterranean sunset was so bright and refreshing. They only had one bartender, so drinks took a while, but they were worth it. Then we got my usuals, the challah French toast and the Israeli tabbouleh with blackened salmon. The French toast comes with 3 pieces and fresh fruit, and is definitely enough to share. It's perfectly sweet and the coconut whipped cream is delicious. The tabbouleh with the blackened salmon is so incredible as always, very fresh with perfectly seasoned salmon. They may ask you how you want your salmon cooked, and I always get mine well done. The 3 of us were full after that so we took the pancakes to go. The only downside to Cafe Alma is that they always seem a bit short staffed. The staff is so kind and helpful with suggestions, but don't come here in a rush. If you want delicious, fresh food, and you have the time, you definitely need to check out Cafe Alma!!!“

“We hired them for our daughters wedding and they were a huge hit with all the guests. They set up quietly and fast and started serving at the cocktail hour. It was like having a little coffee shop in the corner of the reception. Highly recommend! So glad we did this!“

“I was back in France at that cute little bistro that always highlights your best travel stories. Food was not overly fancy or unnecessarily drenched in heavy sauces, but it was tip top French (and a little American) fare. 2 of our party had the outstanding moules and frits, fresh and bathed in white wine and light aromatics. I had a sumptuous, well prepared cod Provençal. Service was prompt and friendly the restaurants rooms drenched in unpretentious French charm. Definitely moving Luca into the regular rotation. (Side note: if you’re still sad about the departure of Zulas and their epic mussels, come here!)“

“Firstly, the ube croissants are TO DIE FOR. Secondly, fantastic, friendly, informative staff who were also super excellent about helping me get a personal item back that I accidentally left in the cafe and didn't realize for weeks. I can't wait until our next trip to Cincinnati so we can try their ramen!“

“Everything about this place is amazing. The people, atmosphere, the food and drinks. There’s such care put into every aspect of your experience at Mom ‘n ‘em. From the kids steamer that is thoughtfully made to be warm, not hot (get the homemade vanilla!!) to the awesome coffee, to the croissants…most recently I’ve found that their housemade granola - and their house made almond butter! - are pretty much the best things ever. Literally every time we visit Cincinnati to see my parents we stop here at least once. So grateful this place has come to my hometown!“

“It's stops like this one here that I need to thank my fellow yp'ers! I was immediately offered a sample of the chicken salad. Nice touch! I started with a tomato bisque soup which was by far the best I've had! In addition to the depth of flavor it was served hot! The potato salad was creamy and a very nice mix without any one ingredient including the potato itself to dominate this side dish. Well done! The toasted wheat chucked salad sandwich was outstanding! This alone make the trip worthwhile. It s served with a healthy slice of pickle which was slightly sour, just how it should be. A six star stop! First time ever for 6 stars for me. In addition a friendly staff paying attention to my out of state licenses plates and then starting a conversation about my home state.“

“Cool spot with a great vibe. Their pour over coffee is quite good and mixed coffee classics excellent if that's your drink of choice. The atmosphere is cozy and fun while still being a great place to study or get some work done. The patio out front is a great spot to hang out in the mornings during summertime.Only critique is the coffee roast. Just a bit bitter for my taste. I'll have to go back and try a darker roast and update my review!“

“One of my favorite lunch spots!! The owners are warm and always call me by first name when I order my “usual” cup of turkey chili. They have the best potato soup I have ever had!!! They are also known for their chocolate chip cookies! In general, the food (and staff) are *AMAZING* and it’s always fresh.“

“Came here for some coffee and their latte was genuinely delicious. You know when your coffee tastes like how coffee smells. Highly highly recommend. The chai latte on the other hand was so heavy on ginger and nothing else... it just was not it. But I would come back for the coffee. Also, it would be great if they could get to know their products a bit. I ordered a cheesecake cake pop. 3 workers gathered to decided which one is the cheesecake one... and they got it wrong. Weird“

“Came here for the 1st time other than the 1 other time I got it to go 2 years ago. Loved the environment and staff were all super kind. I came in to study and had my service dog with me. Everyone was super respectful of him as well. Great study environment and super quiet but has good study music going in the background. I had a Peanut Butter Fluff Latte that was amazing and a slice of coffee cake. All for just $5 which is a great deal now days for coffee shops. Only downside was at about 2-2:30 pm all the school kids started to flood in and it got quiet loud so I ended up leaving. Definitely a good study environment just go in the morning/during lunch for a more quiet visit.“

“My friend and I always enjoy eating at Anderson First Watch but this morning it was especially nice because of our waiter Jordan. He was friendly and attentive. When he delivered my friend's food, he told me he sent mine back because it didn't look up to standards. He then brought me the potatoes so I'd have something to eat while they redid my omelet. I'm grateful for people like Jordan and his supervisor who came out to talk with us. They remind me like if good.“

“I don't eat out very often, but have always enjoyed the service and quality food at First Watch. This morning I asked the hostess to check the balance on my gift card. Due to a systems problem, she couldn't do this, nor could they accept my gift card in payment for my meal. (Not a problem) When my friend and I paid and prepared to leave, the hostess gave me a First Watch gift card "to make up for the inconvenience". These folks know how to do Customer Service. Also - hope you are able to remove the nonsense posts that appear among your reviews.“

“What a great bagel and cream cheese. The breakfast wrap was just the perfect size. Filled to the brim with eggs, cheese, peppers and the jalapeno cream cheese. The price for the bagels and cream cheese was reasonable. We will be coming back every time we are in the area.“

“5/5 for quality and service. I ordered a fruit cake for my daughter’s birthday. They were quick to respond and very helpful. The cake was a huge hit. One of the kids typically eats around cake frosting and eats just the cake itself, and she couldn’t get enough of this frosting! This wasn’t out first time at Queens Bakery, we’ve gotten some beads and bubble teas several times and they are always amazing. My daughter loves the Mango Milk. Both locations have fantastic service.“

“Greeted promptly and pleasantly, seated quickly. Service was great- the waitress was very attentive, even brought us drinks to go without us having to ask. Food was fantastic, hot, and my request for the bacon to be extra crispy was followed and executed perfectly.“

“I had a club sandwich, and it would've been excellent except they cooked the bacon to the point where it was as stiff and dry as balsa wood.Parking: HCAP parking has relocated, and the museum needs to make sure folks know that, otherwise they'll look for it around the DeWitt entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: HCAP parking is different now. They need better signage to direct drivers to HCAP parking. I don't use a wheelchair, but I do use a folding walker. There is an uphill climb from the parking lot to the main entrance which now has automatic doors. I found it rather challenging.“
“I am elated to know the horse is back. Bay Horse Cafe has been my bar away from home for several years now. I always take friends on day trips to Cincy and northern KY and the day isn't done until we stop in. I always have a great time. Service has always been fantastic. I was gutted when I read permanently closed a year or so back. I'll be returning soon and I can't wait. Absolutely love this place.“

“Best neighborhood bar. An eclectic, diverse hangout with a cozy, dive-type atmosphere. I've always felt welcome and it's probably why so many people go there, just not those that live in the neighborhood. Throughout the month there are charity and drag shows. Nothing uptight or pretentious about this place, plus the drinks are always creative and moderately priced. Dogs are also welcome in the courtyard (and inside when there is not an art show, event with food, etc.) I feel like C&D is the hidden gem of Northside.“

“My nephew invited me to join him for coffee at Sidewinder Coffee. This was an establishment that I had never heard of before. Now that I have been there I highly recommend it for quick meetings. The atmosphere is comfortable, well lit, and they play music. (Jazz at first and then metal. I asked if they could return to jazz and thankfully, they did.) The coffee was delicious, hot, and could be flavored with various additives and creamers. If you are in Northside and want to enjoy coffee and conversation, the Sidewinder is just the place!“

“Fabulous steaming hot bowls of Pho with fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts and lime wedges for toppings. That, and hoisin suace, fish sauce, Sriracha, and soy sauce to mix in. ALWAYS try the broth first before adding anything to it as a sign of respect for the chef. The broth is the key for any good Pho and this was amazing!“
