If you want something yummy to eat, go to the Mesopotamian Kitchen and Var in Anderson Town center. The food is wonderful and the portions are enormous. The staff was attentive and very nice. I had the chicken shish kabob…SO GOOD!
Overall 4.5/5 stars. The FOOD. Is delicious! The pita/bread, the chickpea salad, the baklava -- amazing. The host/server was very polite. Service was a bit slower than a typical restaurant in the area - let's say they let you take your time! Atmosphere wise I like the faux fur blankets on the back of the booths and some of the decor they've brought in. I would definitely consider going back or even Door Dash-ing (just for that chickpea salad!).

I was very happy with this evidently family run restaurant. I will come back and hope they have lunch specials as I could order from them frequently. They were not inexpensive but are using quality non-frozen ingredients- which you cannot get at corporate owned and chain restaurants. I think you could share some dishes at home if being more economical is needed. The hummus, a very generous serving,was a dream (best I've had) and my spouse loved the lamb.
