“Green District is a great healthy and quick food option when you don't feel like packing lunch for work. Just make sure if you're placing an online order that you do so early in the morning as their online system only allows so many orders per time slot and they fill up fast! Green District has salads, wraps, grain bowls, and toastys. My go-to order is the "When in Romaine" toasty which is essentially a chicken Caesar wrap that has been toasted. They also have rotating specials that are cleverly named such as the "Steak Me Home Tonight". If you're not feeling their menu options they also provide "build your own" items as well. Every time I visit the service is extremely quick and the staff is very attentive. The downtown location is also great for group orders if you're coworkers feel like ordering in for lunch. I have yet to have an order that was incorrect or not made on time which is very impressive for a small and bustling restaurant like Green District. If you're a frequent visitor like me they even have an app where you can get rewards and earn points to get free food.“

In the past year though the pizzas seem underdone when we’ve gotten them at the restaurant or done carry out…it makes us question now whether the price difference ($24-$28 for a Dewey’s vs $10-12 for a “chain pizza” ) is worth it! “This is a small space in a mini strip mall. You seat yourself or go to the counter for carry out. There is seating around the counter. Part of the area where they prepare food is behind the counter. Servers have always been very friendly and work hard to make sure your order is going to be what you want. They still bring a container of pickles to your table when they come to get your drink order. There is usually only one server who also clears tables but it is a small place so it seems to work. Every sandwich comes with a potato pancake which is their signature. Everything we have tried has been great“

“I recently used Kitchen 1883 to provide food options for a party that I had and it was wildly successful. The Caulisprouts were just about everyone’s favorite, but I got so many compliments on the pulled pork w/Tabasco slaw and the Greek wraps (it was a great vegetarian option)too! Before I left, the cook handed me my sandwich and said, "I hope you like toenail polish because I put my foot in that sandwich!" I've happily changed my review to 5 stars!The bowls are so yummy, but I'm not able to order online, because the Korean BBQ is not an option for the Kenwood location! It's an option for "extra" but not as a main choice!?!! Please fix this. I have two other bowls that I can order online, but this one ingredient is not listed. Please help!
