“I love this bar. It’s my kind of place. Just walkin’ through the front door puts big smile on my face. It ain’t too far. Come as you are. Hmmmmm…I love this bar.“

“The food was really good. I got the steak hoagie with regular fries. The fries tasted homemade not the store bought kind some places serve. I also asked for a side of ranch which was awesome! The ranch also had the homemade flavor to it. The server was super friendly which is always a plus!“

“A mixup with our carryout order turned into one the best customer service experiences in recent memory at Newtown Village Tavern. The owners were very attentive to our order mishap and had assured us our order would be hot and prepared as requested. The food was delicious and you now have our forever patronage. I highly suggest that you give NVT a try for what I consider to be the best pizza in the area! Customer service is above and beyond!“

“The vibe during a Bengals game was crazy. Seemed a bit under staffed for it though - had some minor trouble getting service. Great TV angles and we liked our food. Pizza is pretty standard though so I'd go for burgers or other menu items instead.“

“I went to lunch with a large family group. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was quiet enough that we could all talk and hear the conversation. I wasn't very hungry so I just got the loaded fries appetizer. The toppings were good but the fries themselves were a bit over cooked and chewy. I did get to try a bite of the fish though and that was really tasty. If I'm ever on that side of town again I would absolutely order the fish and chips.“

“Cute little bar/grill. It was fun to look at all the funny signs they had about the place. Our drinks were nicely poured. I had to try their famous deep fried hamburger and it was yummy! Never saw anything like it before. My husband got classic burger and enjoyed it. They have a place to sit outside which would be nice in cooler weather. It's a place that reminds you of the old days which is what I love!!!“

“Food was excellent, well above average "pub food." I had the lobster roll, excellent taste. The cracklin' cabbage was also fresh, crisp and tasty. We were seated outside on the upper patio, there is a lower area where a few people had dogs. Fun place, service was excellent. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a casual place with great food!Parking: There are a couple of small lots near the restaurant. Might be tight if you are driving a larger SUV or truck.“

“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.Parking: If not in the front go around back.Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah just roll on in.“

“I have driven past the Silverton Cafe for a couple of decades and finally decided to stop in for lunch. It is a huge restaurant, your typical neighborhood hole in the wall. We arrived at noon and were the first of four tables to order lunch. Our server was Maria and she was very friendly and offered suggestions. The lunch special was a double cheeseburger with fries for only seven bucks. My husband had the bacon TON burger, a nice sized hand formed patty. I had the ham and roast beef double-decker and brought half of it home. It was huge and delicious. They were out of wings, but we will be back another time to try them. I bet this place would be fun on a weekend night...darts, billiards and lots of tv's.“

“Large overstuffed sandwiches & big plates. Chicken salad was stuffed with honey flavored, pulled white breast meat. Had to take half home. Sweet potato fries were fresh & flavorful. Tortilla chips were served warm with a large bowl of delicious salsa. Reubens had a generous portion of sauerkraut. The service was excellent! Can't say enough about our waitress!“

“We went there because we'd heard their Wednesday special, Taco salads, were awesome. Or waitress didn't know they had a taco salad, asked her to check, what do you know, they do. Okay, maybe she's new. When it came, it was a total disappointment. Large fried bowl, great! Maybe 3 oz of slightly burnt taco beef,a sprinkling of cheese and light sprinkling of shredded lettuce. Someone with us has had their taco salads and get face fell. She said that at lunch it is a very full fried bowl with several side toppings. What a total disappointment! Although I felt our waitress was not very good, I think they have their staff spread out over the whole restaurant, not just one area. They were all running all over... Poor management there.“

“A good place to get together with a group of friends. We went for a friend's birthday and mainly chilled in the upstairs area! There were many bar games; Jenga, Darts, and shuffle board. There's lots of space to talk and chill together. The food we delish and the bartenders were very on point and moved quickly. Sadly the phone did not eat first and I don't have pics to share. They were very attentive and willing to answer all customer questions!“

“LOVE this place. Great atmosphere, fantastic service. I live close and regularly stop in for lunch. Sadly, I haven't made their Trivia Night on Mondays in a while- but if you have the chance, its so fun. Local comedian Steve Caminiti hosts and will have you laughing from start to finish! Always a blast!“
