Very rare to have someone so attentive and friendlyShe has been there a while because we remembered her from our past visit. “I had their chili it was so good I purchased one to go, I want to try their burgers they look great, they have $3.00 off of the burgers on Mondays !! The bar tenders are great as well , always smiling & outgoing!! They have pool tables & dart boards, which are great! The only bad thing I would comment on is late at night, (if you don't like rap I wouldn't go there, but there are people that do ), your choice, I see a lot of the younger generation up there, having a great time, and that is all that matters. It is a fun & safe place to go to !! Highly recommend this place, especially during the Browns games, you have the best fans ,ever !!“

“Nice, friendly, little neighborhood bar. They don't have many specials to speak of, except for their happy hour, and I was really looking for a place to go watch browns games. I probably won't stop back but I can still recommend it as an everyday bar.“

“It was good to find a small diner that was open on a Monday. Many small businesses we tried were closed. The waitresses were very friendly and thorough. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Our order was taken quickly but the food took a while to come out. The food was hot and tasty and worth the wait. My friend had the Big Egg omelette. It was a very large portion and filled with plenty of meat and veggies served with a side of hash browns. I had the garden skillet which was eggs over red skinned potatoes. The veggies were peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Very fresh tasting and large enough portions. Prices here are very affordable. This place is definitely worth a try. They don't only serve breakfast.“

“We had a delicious dinner at Houlihans Westlake. The scallops I had were excellent and nicely prepared. My husband had the Chicken Picatta, which was, unfortunately, overcooked, but our server, Kelly, was fantastic and exchanged his meal for one perfectly cooked. Kelly saved the day! She made our dining experience lovely! Thank you!“

“Everything was spot on. the wine was nice at a reasonable price pappardelle pasta was just incredible... perfectly flavored with homemade noodles. Only downside was sitting facing west toward the west side of the patio the sun came in and blasted us on our way down. Seasonal issue. Will return.“

“I work very close to Edacious & when I need a brief respite from the hustles& bustle of my job this is my go to. I can't say enough positive things about the food. My favorite is the Chicken Paillard but you really can't go wrong. Service is great. Bartender fantastic. Music always good. Surprising little gem in Avon Lake., The only bummer is the view of the old power plant, hopefully that will be disappearing soon. For now look the other direction and enjoy this fabulous place“

“My 13 year old son and I stopped in for breakfast together for the 1st time and we waited to be seated for a view minutes. Once seated the server was friendly and explained the menu to us. We enjoyed the food as it was delicious and the portions were perfect for us both. Overall, the price is fair, food is delicious, quality is top notch, atmosphere is fun and clean for every age, and we will for sure be back! Great little gem with wonderful service!“

“Beaucoup Bucks at Bucci's. Prices were kinda high for quantity not necessarily for its quality. We had 14 person bday party on a Sunday afternoon. Pretty busy in there. Nice ambiance but really kinda loud probably since it's so tight in there. We had 2 servers, & were great. They let us bring our own cakes in & servers brought it out w/ candles so that was perfect. My Buccis burger was tasty & a large size. It only came w/ chips so I subbed salad for $3 so it was $17 which was a bit steep. The bruschetta was good but the toastinis were super hard - all crunch & no chew so it exploded as you bit it. Not many of us ate them therefore. Others got the French onion soup & calamari which were unfinished so not sure they loved em. The steak was reported good but a pretty penny. My two cousins next to me got 2 apps 2 entrees & 2 sodas and their bill was $90! Wow. Although the kids meal chicken tenders was huge & a great value. Nice place & good food w/ robust prices.“

“Showed up in time to enjoy happy hour and it was DELICIOUS! We ordered lamb meatballs, koi hoisin pork belly, and mussels with togarashi puree. The meatballs were tender, moist, cheesy, and flavorful (ngl gave luxury ikea meatballs and I wasn't mad about it). The pork belly was a mouthful of flavor and texture, with crisp skin, and beautiful celeriac puree combined with the crunchy pickle/kimchi radish. The mussels made fun to play with tiny forks, grilled sourdough bread, rich and perfectly cooked but definitely not enough bread for scooping up a sauce so good. Unfortunately unimpressed by the marg, but the Elder Collins made up for it. We continued with the epic eats and had the charred octopus and duck bucatini. I'm a sucker for anywhere that serves octopus in a single tentacle over pieces and this one lived up to it. Cooked to perfection with complimentary flavors and textures combining bites of octopus, crispy potatoes, and salsa verde was incredible. The duck bucatini featured housemade ground duck sausage and bucatini from the local Flour Pasta Co. Incredible flavors, creamy but not heavy, somehow light and a bit citrusy, fresh yet rich with the duck. We ran out of room before getting to the pie (which is apparently one of their showstoppers) but we are looking forward to returning sooner than I think. The ambiance was fun, beware it gets surprisingly dark once the sun is down for the day. My only complaint was the marg (feels to easy to get wrong) and we did get asked by the server a bit excessively how it was going. Neither of which will skew my rating or next visit. Can't wait to give the rest of the menu a shot.“

“First time visitors while we were shopping nearby. Food was delicious, arrived quickly on a busy night, and the server Nancy was a true professional. We tried to save some of the onion rings appetizer to take home but the two of us finished them all before the food arrived! I had the small Ahi crunchy salad but it was a perfect dinner portion.“

“I come here every year when I go to CL. It is absolutely fantastic. Every time the server is very friendly and kind. We order a make your own bowl and they have countless options to choose from with tags. The food is so so SO tasty and very filling. They have so many smoothies too and they are so good. Everything is a very reasonable and affordable price compared to other trash restaurants like Dunkin and Starbucks which take 6$ for one small drink made up of sugar and ice water. If i could give this place over 100 stars I would.“

“I've been here several times and have always had a positive experience, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. Our server Dan was also so sweet and made our family outing that much more enjoyable. This place is such a gem in Westlake!“

“A little hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. Friendly staff and polite hardworking employees everywhere you turn. We made reservations and they were accommodating. It’s a family friendly or date night kind of place. They have a small bar area up front with wine bottles every where, really cool vibes. The fresh bread and garlic butter are amazing. The Chicken Alfredo can easily feed 3-4 people, it’s HUGE! The grouper dish was good too. We had side of shrimp and calamari as well. Next time will save room for those delicious looking desserts. Clean and cozy spot!Parking: Parking lot upfront the restaurant.“

“We haven’t been here in forever. I believe we will continue to stay away. Sadly my garlic parm wings were overcooked very dry and not much sauce. Not to mention they charged us $2 for it. On the positive side my husband’s fish was good. But that’s about it.“

“I came here a few weeks ago on a whim because I heard such great things about the place and I have to say, they lived up to their hype. They have two loaded potato options (regular or potelah pizza style) and they have a wide array of halal toppings to choose from, as well as veggies, cheeses, and sauces. I decided to do the potelah pizza with traditional baked potato fixins’ (btw, if you order the pizza style, you get UNLIMITED toppings!) and it came out heavenly! The portion sizes are extremely generous, the flavor is spectacular and everything in the topping bar is made fresh in house daily. They also have a juice bar with fresh juices made to order. All in all, if you’re looking for something classic with a twist, stop by Potelah!Dietary restrictions: This is the perfect place for folks seeking halal comfort foods.“
“Crispy chicken sandwich was wonderful. Fries were my favorite kind, and the side salad was perfectly executed. Drinks were refreshing and creative, lavender in the Pomona was a subtle point of interest. Brisket sandwich was amazing. I'll be back soon“

“So happy this place exists. Perfect spot in Lakewood for a new hip restaurant. Food and drinks are great! They offer a variety of choices on their menu. The pizza is so yummy. “Awesome deli/restaurant. My husband loves the corned beef sandwich. It's huge!! We end up taking some of the meat home and we can make another sandwich. I like that you can get a half sandwich with soup or salad (I wish they would give you an option for a fruit bowl) which is very filling. One of my friends ordered the Saturday prime rib special. I believe it was $30.95 for an 12 to 14 oz prime rib served with soup or salad, potato and fresh green beans. The prime rib was huge and she let me try it and it was delicious. The au jus was one of the best I have had. Oh and the desserts are amazing. If you see something you like order and pay for it at the counter before you sit down. They will refrigerate it until after you eat. The reason I mention this is they do run out of some of the desserts. I specifically like on called France and want to make sure I get a slice. Oh on a previous visit I had the matzo ball soup and it was very good. I highly recommended Joe's!!“

“We took our mom here when we were I. Town visiting. And all I can say is WOW. I spoke to one of the cooks after our mean and completed him on the food. In our brief conversation he said he had been there for a while and planned on retiring from there one day. Our waitress was fantastic and she also stated it was the best place ahead of ever worked and would never leave it. She shared a personal story of one of her longtime customers with us as well. And when my mom asked for the bill at the same time I did her reply was fantastic she said” Trivia would not be happy if he knew I gave the bill to a mother”. So that ended the debate on payment. The food was absolutely amazing as well. We can’t wait to go back. Oh and their cannoli is to die for.“

“Fantastic restaurant. Amazing service. Great knowledge of wine and patience to share their knowledge. Food is awesome and Chef Ron continues to create dishes that make you want to come back again and again. Entertainment is a plus. Every night there's either someone entertaining or fun trivia, movie nights, car shows, clam bakes or paint nights. The patio is the best in town. Fire pit, patio heaters, great woodsy environment. Don't miss out on this gem in your own backyard.“

“This has been a crazy extended weekend. Shary and I drove out to Lorain for the eclipse and started having mystical experiences before we were even halfway to the Ariel Hotel. For example, Shary saw a road sign for an attraction that kind of reminded us of that Frank Lloyd Wright house, Falling Waters. She plops that into the GPS and BAM! GPS says turn right at the next exit. So we get to see that. On the way there we pass a place we went white water rafting! Great memories. And of course, Falling Waters is rad. Anyway, we get to the hotel and the weekend just gets stranger. So fun. Everyone is all spazzing out about the eclipse. We meet a clothing designer. Whatever. So yeah. Back to this spot. Eclipse done. Fancy dinner for us vacationers? An internet search suggested this spot would be worth the 25 min drive from Lorain. And it was. Oysters. Cooked dates. Good drinks. Very good end to an extended weekend!“

“Wonderful Experience OverallI ordered the Chicken bacon ranch pizza for $15 which was delicious. It’s a reasonable price for airport food, and it was a personal size pizza that filled me up. I also ordered the bourbon smash seltzer which was AMAZING! The staff recommended it and it did not disappoint. Both of the gentlemen working the front, Richard and Gary, were a pleasure to meet. They were both charismatic and friendly, and helped to pass the time.If I ever find myself in Cleveland again, I will absolutely stop by again. Thank you for making this layover enjoyable :)“

“This restaurant is definitely upscale but not too fancy! I really liked the atmosphere because the outside did not do the inside justice at all. I loved the ducks and vintage pictures placed all around the restaurant. The food was soo good. Please ask for the bread, you won't regret it. I'm not sure if its standard to serve everyone celery and olives with cottage cheese but I'm not the biggest fan of that combination so we asked for bread instead. The whipped butter that comes with it tasted like a zesty sweet sour cream and onion dip. I'm guessing it had caramelized onions in it, idk it was delicious either way. I ordered the salmon and the artichoke topping was the star of the dish for me. It was so tasty my date stole some off of my plate haha. The salad was good but the red wine vinaigrette literally just tasted like redwine and vinegar, nothing special, I'm not a ranch person but i should've ordered that dressing instead. The veggies and baked potato were good too but again the salmon was my favorite! Overall, I would for sure come again and maybe get a table overlooking the creek.“
