“We've been coming to the Black Forest Café a few times a year for the last few years. Any of the dishes are great, but the schnitzel is amazing. The giant pretzel is good. The spatzel is yummy.On our latest visit (tonight) they had been very busy and short staffed, but the staff were all very accommodating and friendly. We brought friends that hadn't been there before and they loved the food and had a great experience.It's truly a hidden gem in Oregon, Ohio. ”

“Vegetarian options: Salads, garden pizza, lots of non-meat options for toppingsDietary restrictions: They do pizza bowls for people on keto, they do have a gluten free crust upon request and they have vegetarian options for pizza.Parking: More then enough parking. Just don't try to park in the narrow strip along the side of the building that's a driveway for entering and exiting the lot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is access for wheel chairs towards the back of the building, and you follow the sidewalk to the front and have full access. I do believe there may be a ramp out front but I'm unsure because I haven't honestly looked that closely.”

“We travel from Illinois and Indiana 3 times a year to fish lake Erie. We eat at the Oregon Inn every night as their food ( especially the prime rib) is the best. Anita the owner treats all her guests like family, and the staff is amazing. One year we knew the weather would probably cancel our fishing, but we decided to drive the 4 hours anyway just to eat at the Inn. It's that good!!”

“Amazing pizza and the Vito Bread was off the hook! Get 3 garlic dipping sauces with Vito Bread! They delivered to The Maumee State Park Lodge and brought the pizza to our room. Worth every penny!!”

“Pizza is not great but it's good .. the Grinders (subs) are the route to go .. a little pricey but very large portions for the money .. Big Apple Deli has better subs but this is a very close 2nd to that place !!”

“We don't get there very often, not close to home, but the same great waitress is always there and such a variety on the menu! Like to try different foods! Had greek salad, grecian Burgers and chicken noodle soup. Got pleasantly surprised when we went to pay! Some very nice young couple paid our bill, the waitress said that they hoped they could be like us when they get older! We'll be Married 64 yrs, Oct. 1st. “Go to spot for early morning breakfast before the hunt or fishing.The deal here is you can see EVERYTHING! So this place is super clean. The ladies know how to cook and their sociable, wonderful people. I like that there is this "transparency" to the restaurant, it's piece of mind when I'm eating the food.10 outta 10...been eating here since I was a little boy, now in my 40's and this place hasn't missed a beat.”

“Possibly the best thin crust pizza I've ever had.Dietary restrictions: Diabetic the thin crust pizza raised my sugar to 140 all other thin crust pizza raises it to about 200 after eating 2 large pices It's very delicious”

“Got my daughter's second birthday cake (bluey theme) their. The picture printed on the cake was very clear, and they border decorations were good too. When figuring out what we wanted on the cake, the young lady helping us was giving suggestions explaining all out options and making sure we knew certain things where extra. Would go again, great cake, great service.”

“This Coffee shop is seriously the best!! My boyfriend and I go there about once a week, and the staff are always so kind and accommodating about our order. we always have nice conversations with the staff while they make our coffees. on top of that the espresso it's self is distributed perfectly, its delicious. I love the radiator mint one! I get mine with oat milk. My mom and boyfriend love the leather jacket.”

“Osaka was so accommodating to us in letting us make a reservation for my daughter's confirmation celebration! We had a group of 14 and it was all set up before we got there! It was wonderful! The food was good, the service was excellent they had hibachi for lunch on a Saturday with lunch prices!! It was a good amount of food and very delicious. “Food was actually pretty good. I wasn't a huge fan of the chocolate shake only because the flavor was almost chalky. That could be just me. Otherwise, service was fairly quick and friendly. The place is always crowded so you know the food is worth it. Expect to pay a little more than mcd's or BK.Kid-friendliness: Young staff is attentive to kids.”

“I got takeout, but the interior is cute and casual, and they have nice patio seating as well. Upon the recommendation of the server, I chose a full rack of ribs and got the cornbread with honey butter, green beans, and slaw. Got the ribs with their regular sauce plus some spicy sauce, which had a nice heat to it. They were cooked well and a good size amount. The beans were advertised as a twist with no pork in them, and I think it might have been some walnuts (?) They were tasty, as was the slaw. The little highlight of the meal was actually the cornbread and honey butter. I'm a big eater but have enough of everything for a whole nother meal (except the cornbread, I ate that all). “Tuesday 4/2/24 9:00 PMElizabeth M very good server. Food was fast, hot, big portions, burger cooked perfectly as it was ordered- very good, tv turned to game we asked to watch, restaurant clean. Asian Chicken salad was very good with plentiful toppings and enough dressing provided and south western burger and fries were great. One of few restaurants we have been to that was clean, great service and exceptional food. Also a guy I am guessing was the manager or owner came to check on if we were satisfied with our food.”

“Subway tries but things are sliding for almost all food establishments. Untrained staff and high turn over. This makes for inconsistent food quality. A-for effort C+ for getting the order right C- on customer service.”

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! I wish I would have got her name.”

“We love going here for a quick, semi-healthy meal (I love my cheese and Mayo! 😋). I really wish that they would keep the oven roasted turkey on the menu permanently though because that makes a nice hearty sub! 👍 Really fast service even when they're busy. We don't drive so we dine in when we go and it's not really loud in there like other fast food places because they don't have all of the timers going off at once and all the noise of the fryers. It would also be nice if they would bring back the Rold Gold pretzels too! Must be the pretzel salt on those because it couldn't be the total sodium count as a reason they don't have them. That would be laughable! After all they are baked! Yes... Great subs and you can watch all the traffic on Navarre! LOL!”

“I had a prior bad experience at this Bob Evans with poor service, food was cold. But, today I ate there and everything was great, hot food, decent wait time for the food AND a good waitress. She asked if everything was good, kept my coffee cup full. Very nice experience and I did mention this to my waitress and the manager (I believe he was the manager). Thank you.”

“We have been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. This is clearly our favorite restaurant. We get the signature steak with the famous casserole potatoes and a side salad. The casserole potatoes are the best. The salad is loaded with extras like red beets and banana peppers. It is absolutely delicious. The steak was very tender as well as favorable. It tastes so good that you don't need steak sauce. We were here for a birthday dinner. There was a large array of food ordered. From steaks to salmon to burgers. Every meal was delicious. We even had a few of the appetizers, which was equally excellent. A few ordered the cheesecake. It was such a generous slice that 3 of us were able to enjoy one piece. I would highly recommend this establishment for your next eating experience. It is simply delightful.”

Prices are very fair for an all you can eat buffet.Vegetarian options: They had a lot of meatless dishes and a decent salad bar with lots of fruits and veggies.Parking: Being in a plaza, there was plenty of parking for even a large group.Kid-friendliness: They had a small selection of common food for picky kids. Plenty of desserts and fruits. The steam tables are low enough for most kids to be able to visualize the food before picking.Wheelchair accessibility: The whole plaza is set up with wheelchair parking and accessibility in mind. The doors are large enough for the bigger chairs and scooters.”
