“Have been wanting to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint! My son got the Kafta Cheeseburger Zingo, I got the chicken gyro, and my husband got the original, "Zingo Style" and we loved it! Also tried the soup of the day, could have been a little more hot as it was just warm, but the taste was great!! The pita chips were delicious along with the hummus. The staff was absolutely amazing! So helpful, attentive, and so sweet! 100% making this restaurant a place we visit very often!“

“Friends and I chose Mediterranean after the 2024 eclipse viewing, and this spot actually hit the spot for both veg and non-veg options.We walked in, surprised at the exhaustive menu selections, and lunch/dinner options. They were thankfully offering lunch options around 5 pm too.Friends had vegetarian combos, I had the kafta kabob lunch. Everything, from the soup to the salad to the pita to the hummus to the rice and to our entree, was lip-smackingly delicious.Absolutely recommend.“

“Tiger Bakery has been a Toledo favorite for decades. Their kitchen, food prep areas, and the glass serving/display counters were always sparkling clean and always impressive. I still remember the tantalizing smells of all the food. There are plenty of options so you won't have any problem pleasing everyone in your entire family or group. Those glass displays enable everyone to choose what you're in the mood for as you're ordering--very helpful in case people aren't familiar with Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food. In fact, this is a perfect place to get acquainted with foods you haven't tried, or return for your favorite dishes, because the high quality, amazing flavors, and the cleanliness is consistent. The service is fast, the food is fabulous, and you won't leave hungry. I almost forgot--HEALTHY OPTIONS are plentiful here. While there are abundant meat dishes, there are also plenty of rice dishes, vegetable dishes, all so good even people who do eat meat won't miss it. (Now I'm hungry!) I don't think it would bother anyone if I tell one of my Mom, Carol's, secrets: she truly enjoyed working here years ago (mid-1990s-2000s) and was treated so well, she would come home in a good mood. “First time trying Mediterranean and this place did NOT disappoint. Excellent service and the food is divine. Run, don’t walk and try this place. Be sure to get an order of grape leaves wraps, delicious. And hubby said that the chicken noodle soup was the best he’s ever had.“

“We don't get there very often, not close to home, but the same great waitress is always there and such a variety on the menu! Like to try different foods! Had greek salad, grecian Burgers and chicken noodle soup. Got pleasantly surprised when we went to pay! Some very nice young couple paid our bill, the waitress said that they hoped they could be like us when they get older! We'll be Married 64 yrs, Oct. 1st. “I'm giving this 4 stars for the food only because I have a small sample size to rate it from. My wife got grape leaves that she was not impressed with. We both got desert and drinks that we were more than satisfied with. Will rate again once we've tried more of the actual menu.Bar service was excellent. The decor was simple and I think they were trying to achieve elegant maybe but it doesn't quite get there. It felt like someone trying to pass off a nice food cart as a restaurant. Simple, cozy maybe, but it's more like eating lunch in a nice breakroom of a family business.I was not blown away but I was not disappointed, so that's a solid 'A' in my book.“
