Leave this place for the old timers. The name is super misleading seeing as they use a flame broiler, NOT CHARCOAL, however... the burger is of good quality. Not much more than knowing you are eating a bit cleaner than today's alternatives. Very over priced, better off going to Tuckers.
I stopped in after work last Friday to try this place out. I had been wanting to try the Chick-A-Doodle-Do for a minute but hadn't made it over to the neighborhood. Everything was fresh, delicious, and cooked to order. Sorry I didn't take any photos, but what came out on my tray truly looked just like a photo from a menu; Nice attention to detail. This place reminded me of the Family Restaurant I worked at in high school, and I loved all the flavors and feelings of nostalgia....read full review

Charcoal Oven was on northwest expressway in OKC for 50-60 years. I had thought they were out of business. I tried their new location 36th and May. The burgers were great. The only problem is they located right next to Patty Wagon, which is the best burgers in OKC. Tough place to be….
