“The restaurant is cute and has upstairs patio. When we went we waited for about 30 minutes which was good for a Saturday evening. Once we were seated we ordered right away however we waited about an hour for the food to be delivered. We ordered the half and half which was good. The pizza was a little soggy on some pieces. We also ordered the Arnold Palmer excepted sweet tea but it was definitely not sweet tea. I would try again on a week night to see if the wait was any different.“

“The exterior and interior of the location were in good repair. There is some street parking and there is paid parking behind the location. We parked in a grass area next to the paid parking for free. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server, Abbey, was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations off the menu. The dinner service was smooth. FYI, You have to specify request bread service. The food was fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes were generous. We went to the location for a family members birthday and they gave each of us a little fruit and cream parfait, which was appreciated. I would return to the location and recommend it to others. Getting a reservation ahead of time is a must, at least on the weekend.“

“First time to visit tonight- what a fun and delicious experience!!- We usually have a cocktail at one of our favorite bars before dinner- but noticed they had a bar in the restaurant, Daniel (a professional bar keep ) served us stunning craft cocktails!!- (He’s also vice pres of the local bartender’s guild - impressive)!! “Frida puts the finest point on Southwestern cuisine in a sophisticated and classiest of ways. I highly recommend the chimichurri skirt steak as it was to die for. All of the sides absolutely hit the spot and I could not put my fork and knife down until my plate was empty. The staff puts their service on the map with attentive and fast care. And the vibes of the place make for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this place!“

“The food here was delicious, we ordered multiple dishes to try out. It was quite enjoyable! The homey, darker interior was nice. There were so many photos and tapestries regarding Japanese culture.Takoyaki is my favorite street food! So of course we ordered it, and it was delicious!Udon was great, but too much onion (a whole cut up onion) was in the soup and that kind of knocked it down a peg for us all.Curry with katsu pork -amazing, tastes like the kind we make at home.Sushi was great, we had a few different kind so I can't remember the names.All in all, what a nice hidden gem! It doesn't come up easily when searching for this type of food. We took a chance and it was near perfect!To note- always make a reservation. “We came to Empire after a Thunder game on a Wednesday night (April 10), so it was pretty busy... our server was the best! She made great recs. We had the meatballs and a pie (forgot how we divided it) but it totally hit the spot. My wife says our pizza was half a Fat Tony and half Teflon Don. Next time, we're trying the Foghorn Leghorn and Fungus Among Us. Uncle Buck sounds awesome too.“

Bookshelves tall enough to need rolling create private nooks, without becoming a maze. “Used to go here all the time when we lived up the road. Food was always great. Went today after they opened and was very disappointed in the food. The gravy on the snitzel was congealed and cold as was the beer chease for the pretzel. Gravy is a sauce, not a jelly. We just took it home and it was even worse when we tried to reheat it. Won't be returning after wasting our money.“
