“This place is awesome! I went for the first time earlier this week and it was way better than I expected! I just wanted to sit a check some school emails, but the food here was too tempting. I had the Rose Garden sandwich, which is delicious with the pesto and spinach combination. I also had a double shot latte with oat milk and hazelnut flavor, which was also wonderful. I also highly approve of the chai here! I'm not a high-end coffee person but this place had tasty drinks and snacks to match. And the overall establishment had a cute charm to it, I love the bench seating by the window. Bathrooms were clean and to save best for last, the guys running the place are very sweet. For a first timer who probably took too long, the ones who made the coffee and sandwich were super nice to me. No bad energy here. Overall 10/10 on this little small business gem in the city.“

“Such a hidden gem discovered! A friend and I decided to try Ms Velvet’s today for breakfast after reading such great reviews - and it truly was so yummy! Not to mention chatting with Carlos - such a delightful human being. Was nice to be sitting in the old stomping grounds of CCHS & SHH … just observing and taking in the positive presence and energy that Ms Velvet’s has brought to the neighborhood.“
