“We went with friends to hang out out before dinner and maybe some karoke. I was pretty surprise at how many really talented people were there singing. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday between 3-6. Most everyone was nice, too. We didn't eat so I couldn't speak of the food but the drinks were reasonable and the service was good.“

“Went for our first visit. The service was absolutely outstanding! Kim was our server and she was attentive without hovering. As other servers walked by our table they'd ask us if we needed anything or clear empty plates. Clearly the sign of excellent training and great people! The poutine was among the best I've ever had. Tried different sauces on the wings and all were great (mild, parmesan garlic, bbq and hot honey.) Pliny the Elder was on tap which was a treat. We will be back as NBI will now be on our regular rotation.“

“Despite being a little run-down, the Mermaid is understandably well-loved for its historic building retaining much of its architectural detail & charm. The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original.We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. Great band & fans! Large, supportive crowd!We didn't eat, but the bar staff was efficient & friendly.“

“Not sure what Allie's issue really is this this place. Do they love their country and proudly show their support for police? Yes they do. Food is good, cheap and served by friendly people. I have never felt unsafe or unwelcome. It is a local place and I hope it never changes.“

“We enjoy hanging out. Last night we found this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a beautiful time there with very good food and a professional stuff and a great cuisine. “Great bar with a juke box and darts! Plenty of TVs and a nice selection of beers and ciders. The food was delicious too, we had chicken cheesesteak egg rolls, mussels in the white sauce, steak quesadillas, crab fries, and wings. Nothing was greasy, didn't feel super heavy either. I'll skip on the wings in the future though.“

“Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.“
