“The crispy dumplings are wonderful, the kids had me get a second order. Sushi is very good, my son loved his deluxe ramen which was HUGE. Said he was just like Naruto. They both had boba teas, the selection of which is excellent. I had the Massaman curry which I found bland, but did enjoy all the extra veggies.“

“During my week-long stay in Pittsburgh, I had the pleasure of dining at Maiku Vietnamese Pho, and it truly stands out as the pinnacle of culinary excellence in the city. I explored various eateries throughout the city, but none matched the impeccable flavors and authenticity of Maiku's offerings. The moment you step in, the aroma of authentic Vietnamese cuisine envelops you, setting the stage for a remarkable dining experience. Their Pho is a symphony of flavors, each spoonful bursting with freshness and depth, reminiscent of the streets of Vietnam. The staff exudes warmth and hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Vietnamese cuisine or a first-time visitor, Maiku Vietnamese Pho guarantees a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more.In conclusion, if you're in Pittsburgh and craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than Maiku Vietnamese Pho. “Road trip from Toronto to Pittsburgh. Stayed here for 4 days.My family members were all craving for Pho. Googled the best pho and Pho Van was top of the list.Quiet Easter Sunday in Strip District but not Pho Van.There was lineup outside of the restaurant. In my mind, it’s gotta be good.I went in the restaurant and checked myself in. There were few people waiting before me. Waited almost 25 mins. It’s weird that they didn’t sit us in when there was a table for 4 people.I asked the staff and they said there was one person in front of me.So, it doesn’t make sense to me if you want to sit 1 person at a 4 people table.anyway, that person got another table and I sit at the table which was ready 10 mins ago.————-Pho:It’s very pricy comparing to Toronto (i know I can’t compare but still…). A bowl of Pho cost me $18 USD (~$25 CAD) and it’s only one size.Soup base was nice. No heavy MSG. I ordered eye round pho. Portion was ok (Large size in Toronto), meat portion was just ok. I expected more for this price. The noodle was thinner than Toronto. It was nice.Spring rollIt was delicious. Freshly made. Not those frozen one we have in Toronto. Well done here.————-Overall, it was a nice Pho place to stop bu. It was expensive for Pho. $120 US with tips for 4 bowls of Pho.“

“My brother in law turned my wife and me on to this place for lunch. Everything was made to order and very fresh and delicious. The Pho, Salad and Banh MIi sandwich were to die for (but don't). You are going to want to go back for more LOL! The staff is very nice and the service was great.“

“Pho is my love language! And my favorite place is New Saigon in Dormont. It's a warm restaurant on the corner of Potomac and Glenmore. I usually park on the street but there is also a pay lot behind the restaurant. Take out is fast and the inside booths are cozy. I usually get a hot tea, crispy spring rolls and pho. The deep broth, fresh herbs and crunchy bean sprouts are flavorful and satisfying. Truly one of my favorite places to warm up in Pittsburgh.“

“I love the uniqueness of Ca Phê. Not only can I get my typical caffeine fix (coffee, tea, espresso, the usual), I can also crush my sweet tooth with yummy bubble tea and satisfy my appetite with tasty Vietnamese food. Get there early to grab a seat. Lunch time has always been a very busy time for them in my experience. I imagine this is a wonderful place for a takeout order.“

“Delicious and very nice staff. The iced coffee was soooo good. Granted it was my first time trying Vietnamese coffee. I got the special without the meatballs. Very small place to eat but, a gem of a find. All of my team members and I enjoyed our meals.“
“My friend and I went here on a whim this last Sunday around noon. I had never gotten food from here before but had heard really good things about her banh mi. There was no one waiting when we came up and we were able to place our order right away. We each got a banh mi and it was $8 each. They only take cash. They had a table available if you wanted to eat your food there which I would've done if we got pho. The banh mi itself was flavorful but not what I was expecting (I was expecting the traditional banh mi with pate and all the usual instead of just the roast pork). I thought the pickled vegetables that came with it were delicious and really balanced out the pork well.“

“Pho Minh - the best tasting Pho in Pittsburgh! This is a small unassuming restaurant on Penn Ave that is huge in flavor and value. The beef pho (#14) broth is amazing with complex flavors and just the right amount of acidity. We added the entire plate of toppings. The grilled pork with spring roll over rice noodles (#43) was also tasty. A colorful, satisfying, inexpensive and delicious meal. The menu has many options and it is vegan friendly.“

“Hands down the best Vietnamese food I have had in Pittsburgh. Pho is flavorful, but my favorite is their Bahn-Mi sandwhich. They are massive, use fresh French bread, and are only 8$. Very casual atmosphere but the food is top notch. Don’t miss this place!“

“Love this place so much and the value and quality of the menu is worth the money you spend for it. I have ordered here numerous times from seafood kimchi pho to the pad thai to their calamari appetizer, it's all been really tasty and worth the price. Parking is even lovely as well since there are a lot of spots compared to other options places.“

“Stopped in on my way through town, was craving some pho and this place didn't dissappoint. Service was great, food was great, and the vibe was welcoming. Parking can be a little tricky but standard for the city. I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area.“

“I love this restaurant! I can’t recommend them enough. The chicken bulgogi fries are AMAZING! I have tried several items from the menu both dine in and take out and haven’t been disappointed. The food is fresh and flavorful! The pho and ramen just hit the spot when you need to warm up and the Saigon Sunrise tea is so refreshing.“
