This place is packed with atmosphere. It has a cozy early American ambiance and a great view of the Delaware river.We were greeted, seated and approached by our server quickly. So for starters, the service is amazing. You know when you go to a restaurant as the server is really nice but it's not genuine?... This is not that. Our servers were so attentive and exuded a kind of warmth... And the food! We started with the Butternut Squash Flatbread with arugula and a balsamic glaze and let me tell you... We are never disappointed at King George II Inn. The food is always consistently great. If you get on the back side of the Inn you can see the river and it's the best view in the restaurant. We've had several parties in KG and they have lovely rooms for holding your party. It has a beautiful bar and eating area in the bar with a simpler bar menu. Can't go wrong going to KG.
