“We have been going to Switchback for a while at this point (since back in the byob days), and we go pretty regularly. We've always loved it, but it has been so cool to see things change. The ciders were a wonderful addition and go beautifully with the pizzas, and I have never been a huge fan of Detroit style pizza... until now. What a great addition to the menu! And the fact that there are different "flavors" of Detroit slices to try. It's great!They have a menu of pizzas that are always available as well as specials. Our absolute favorite, which is always on the menu is the Blue Moon. My mouth waters just thinking about it.”

“Dine, take out, catering - we’ve done it all and True Blue always exceeds our expectations. We recently got an event catered and Sam and Hala took such great care of us. “Great brewery in the cool Borough of Emmaus. They brew some wonderful beers in several styles. I love dark brews and they always have a few selections from stouts to Baltic Porter. Don't like beer? They have cider, wine, and cocktails. They often have a food truck and we have so many good ones in the Valley. And you can bring your own food -+ there are many nearby food choices including a pizza shop, hoagie/steak sandwich place, Thai, etc. and nearby BOOKSTORES.”

“My favorite local diner- breakfast is always very good and the service is quick and friendly. Their chicken parmesan is a great choice for dinner and their soups are delicious. Also one of the few diners in the area with a full bar.”

Service is good and friendly. Ambiance is comfortable with an Asian theme of red and white. There is a nice bar that is well stocked and attended by locals.”

“We came to know this place through a friend of our who served us the best crabs they brought from this place. We had to drive a considerable distance but it was well worth the drive.The best crabs ever purchased. The place is relatively a small but has everything you need in a seafood vendor.Normally you find a grumpy old man in Tia type of places and that was missing in this place.He was very polite and treated us with respect.We to Philadelphia every weekend ,though Philly has good seafood vendors , we will go back again to this place to get our seafood.I can suggest this place to anyone with confident.”

“Excellent, excellent Italian Hoagie.! Pouring rain so we ate inside. Great fast service. 40 years ago I did a lot of work in a variety of locations in South Philly area. My hoagie was just like the hoagies I could pick up from pretty much any S.Philly corner deli back then. I highly recommend giving Dave’s a try. It’s difficult to find a great Italian hoagie anymore. Only thing missing was hot cherry peppers but their hot banana peppers are next best thing .”

“My son and I stop in occasionally and he gets to pick a slice of cake. Today was his birthday and I had ordered him his favorite chocolate cake. It was perfect and my whole family commented how it was the best taking cake they ever had. Highly recommend!! Sweetest people own it and always so peasant stopping in! Baby Chase approved :)”

“Triple Sun Spirits Co. is a great little distillery located in the same building as Funk Brewing. Great cocktails at reasonable prices, a to go fridge filled with premade cocktails (and jello shots) for those on the move, and plenty of seating and space for large parties. The bartender that served our party was friendly, informative, and most importantly made some great drinks for us. You can purchase bottles of their distilled spirits though I will say they sell 375ml for $35 a pop which is quite a lot of cash for not a lot of liquid. But it's a small operation and they've gotta live so I'm always going to be down supporting a worthy small business. All in all, Triple Sun is a great stop on its own or as part of a crawl through the area including Funk, Yergeys, and Switchback Pizza (<def go here for dinner.)”

“Absolutely fantastic food. If you are looking for an amazing meal, with a very authentic Mexican menu (like grilled cactus yum!!) this is the place for you. My wife and I had a very filling very delicious meal. They also accommodated my wife's gluten intolerance. The only thing they have on the menu that has gluten (i think) Was the chimichanga, which is a deep fried burrito. Unfortunately that meant deep fried food was off the menu for my wife like the tortilla chips, but that's par for the course of a gluten intolerant person. Service was also really good and helpful.”

“One of the last few awesome places to stop with the family and get some great ice cream and some good comfort food. The prices are like stepping back in time and the people that work there are wonderful. Hopefully the community will continue to support them and then we'll stay in a successful business for a long time. These type of places are getting few and far between unfortunately. “We have been wanting to make it out to Funk Brewing for a few years now as it's over an hour from Philadelphia. Well, we made the trip on Sunday! We met up with some of my boyfriends family and it was a great afternoon!There were five is us. I enjoyed the Brownie Surprise stout and a can of the lemon shandy. Both were very good! My boyfriend got a flight and a beer after that although I forget which one. The shandies were a hit with the rest of our party. It's a great space! I think they just opened this location. From what I gather they usually have a food truck too. The food was great from the one that was there the day we went!We will definitely be going back!”

“this is my favorite coffee shop ever. the coffee is not the highest quality and the place isn't the most sparkling clean, but there is a feeling unlike any other. the comfy furniture, eclectic lighting, and unique artwork come together to cultivate the most magical atmosphere, especially at night. it's unlike any other establishment i've ever been to and i hope it stays open for many years to come.”

“We have been enjoying Chopsticks since they opened. Best Egg Drop Soup anywhere. Ribs on the bone are always tasty. General Tso's Chicken and Orange Beef are favorites.Not a fancy place, but we are looking forward to the dining area re-opening once this virus is over. Sweet owner serves us huge bowls of that Egg Drop soup piping hot.Service is great, food is great and owners and their family (cute kids) are always nice.”

“We stopped into Morty’s for lunch on Saturday. We were met by a friendly gentleman at the counter. We ordered steak sandwiches and onion rings. The food was very good. The gentleman running the front counter was accommodating. The atmosphere is just what you expect from a steak sandwich joint. The place was clean, warm and inviting. Would definitely go again.”

“I had surgery 6 weeks ago and my nurse recommended this place for us to try when I was released. The carne asada fries with steak are delicious. The best queso dip and chips I’ve ever had. The wife loved the fish tacos and my burrito was excellent. I’ve been back 4 times since my surgery, an hour each way. Well worth the drive.”

“Foods good as per dive bar. Service is what's expected. Place could use a little TLC, but it wouldn't be a dive bar then. Basically it's your typical dive bar. Good food, good service, old atmosphere.”

“Went to this location last weekend and it is a standard Rita's. nothing stood out as exceptional or lacking. My real reason for writing a review is to ask them to get a working landline / phone. I tried to call to see if they had a specific flavor and the phone was disconnected. Business's not having landlines / phones seems to be more common and I don't think it is a good thing. If a customer wants to call to ask a specific question about the menu, or if they are busy around a particular time, etc. and the business does not have a phone, the person could potentially choose another business or in the case of Rita's, the location in Macungie or Emmaus Ave.”

“Disclaimer: this place is CASH ONLY and drive-thru only.Potts’ Dog Barn definitely scratches the itch for a good, cheap dog ever since Traub’s closed down a few years ago. The food is cheap and definitely delicious. The garbage dog is one of my favorites, along with the chili slaw dog. In fact, everything I’ve had here is awesome. The staff is friendly and I try to give a generous tip each time I go because I believe in making sure this place succeeds. The Emmaus location is closest to me, but a new location in Topton just opened as well and I imagine it is just as good. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a dog from here if you’re in the mood for one or three.”

We enjoyed a small Pizza/ Garlic Knots/ Wings/ and the best Penne Vodka we have had in a long time. This is a hidden Gem and should have been way more busier for the holiday. The service was amazing were very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.”
