“Middle Road Inn (MRI) is a local bar/restaurant to me. It "noxs" the socks off all the other area restaurants. We almost eliminated all other local restaurants from our repertoire of eateries. We eat there about once a week for years now. The Burgers, Fish Sandwich, Fries and fried Zucchini are the best anywhere. Rueben's are good, Philly Cheese Steak Wrap excellent. Basically, it is very unusual not be very happy with whatever you choose to eat. Did I mention fries... yep, better than McDonalds, best around. While the bar food is consistently the best, they also serve excellent dinners like Chicken Marsala, Chicken Picatta, Prime Rib and so on. The ambiance is that of a high end bar, with a large restaurant seating separate and behind the bar with a great working fireplace. Behind that there is a covered deck that is super on hot summer nights. Prices are reasonable, actually rather low for what you get. Joe the owner is always in the kitchen making sure the food is consistently good. His dad owns Willies Tavern in Valencia that has been famous for it fish and cuisine since forever which explains why everything is good at the MRI. Many, many years of experience pays off. Give Middle Road Inn a try, you won't be sorry.“

“We have enjoyed Eleven for many years and this visit did not disappoint. Pre dinner service at the bar was outstanding and attentive. Veal & Pork Meatballs / Scallops appetizer was delicious. Tenderloin and pasta dinners were on point. Seating is the only area we seem to be challenged with when we go. Booths are always taken and end up in a less desirable table.“

“Food was generally good. The menu is small on Tues. The Pretzel app was good. The Cesar salad was OK, lettuce needed more dressing. Beef cheek was tasty. The chocolate desert was very good. Had a good glass of wine. Price was high for what we got.“

“We booked a brunch reservation for 4, arrived on time and then waited half an hour before anyone gave us water or menus. No apology or explanation given. It seemed like there was one girl trying to run the entire front of house. She did her best, but service was lacking. Once we did get to order the food was delicious. The Bloody Mary was unremarkable and could use some love.“

I wish they offered real maple syrup, either as an option or a small upcharge, because their French toast with real maple syrup would be an easy 10/10.It would be nice if they took cards, but there's lots of cash-only businesses around so it's not a big deal.Atmosphere is very cozy and would get 5 stars, but please consider changing the channel on the TV in the dining area to something other than Fox News! “Bistro To Go was the exclusive caterer of our venue. At first I was nervous with only one choice, but after our first phone call and tasting I knew we were in good hands. Nikki and her team truly care about their couples and their wedding days. We were able to tailor our menu to our liking and keep it in our budget. The food presentation is fenomenal and elegant. Food temperature and moist is perfect and after taste of the entire experience lingers for a good while. The selection of wines an cocktails go along oerfectly with the Entrees.Nice selections of spanish wines.. Desserts are rich and warm. The Pear Almond Tart was perfectly cooked and warmed. “Alta Via is definitely a favorite place of mine now. Tonight was my third time coming, and our server Eddie was absolutely amazing. He saved our night! (We had a horrible experience at another resturaunt, so we left and came to Alta Via in Market Square!) He was so attentive to our needs and really went above and beyond! Food is always delicious, drinks are amazing and the focaccia bread they bring out is to die for. Highly recommend! And ask for Eddie at the Market Square location!“

“D's has made all of my hot dog dreams come true. You can build your own hot dog or choose from a list of delicious combinations. My go to is the mason Dixon, topped with chili and coleslaw. They also have a wide selection of beer and other bar foods but we keeping coming back for the hot dogs.“

“As a party of 6 we dined at The Nook on Mother's Day. We were seated shortly after all arriving. The was a 10/10 experience. As stated in the name it is a small location but the ambience is so cool. So cooly decorated. We ordered brunch and had a variety of things from the menu. I ordered the Bbq Pulled Pork Waffle and home fries. This was a really good sandwich and I really liked the home fries. Crunch my and nicely seasoned. I also had the espresso martini. It was very strong but made with very nice espresso. Can't wait to eat here again“

“Went to a show last night and it was amazing! Staff was polite and efficient. Bartender was cute! The intimacy of the theater is very nice since I don't like bigger crowded places. Love love love. The ONLY thing is that if you go into the women's restroom BEWARE OF THE HEAVY DOORS. The stalls have doors made of metal and if you are not careful they will slam and it was really loud LOL“

“After several years, still a 4. I started with a drink at the bar and then moved on to a table. It was around 5 on a Saturday and the place was dead except for a wedding party killing a half hour at the bar. Too early, I guess. The bar service was fine. The table service was too, though he perhaps came off as a little less than genuine. In any case, I didn't really want for anything. My burger and fries were very good and I enjoyed the wine. The burrata app was weird (they minced up the burrata?), but it tasted good. Perhaps they didn't want to serve the whole ball? My main gripe was that menu presented was different from the one found on their website. This was due to a recent seasonable update, but come on folks-it's just a quick upload. I was originally disappointed that the burger that I'd come there for was not on the new menu. When we asked, though, he explained (in a sort of annoyed, ugh-I-have-to-explain-the-burger-thing-again tone) that the burger was just too popular. While they still serve it, it's not on the menu "to give customers a chance to notice the rest of the [more expensive] menu offerings". Mind you, this is a $27 burger and fries we are talking about here - not a super-cheap dish that's bringing in the riff-raff. They apparently plan to rebrand the burger as a secret menu item or something. Maybe it's me, but if your burger is outshining the rest of the menu to the point where you actively try to sell less of it, perhaps the rest of the menu is actually the issue. I, for one, rarely order a burger and love more fine dining food, but nothing else on this menu really stood out to me.“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! Hands down best food in service in Pittsburgh!“

“Came here late night after a photoshoot in the city. Treated the people I was with to a nice meal. I called to see if there was a wait. The person on the phone was very helpful and it was not busy, so we could get in. They greeted us very kindly and sat us upstairs. My only complaint is that the fans made it cold after coming in from rainy weather. I suggest coming here during (Happy Hour) as the food and drinks are very pricey, but understandable as the quality of the food was worth it. The house made tortillas were warm and delicious. The queso, salmon, and guacamole appetizers were delicious and filling. Pineapple Margarita hit the spot. All the tacos they have are superb. Very delicious late evening option if you want quality food.“

“The soup Capital of the north hills! Delicious, tasty, homemade, perfection. I love highlighting on the provided calendar which days I stop in for soup.The biggest variety of homemade cookies. I love walking in and smelling and watching the baking happening live! With all the unique unexpected types of cookies, such chewy goodness.They have a lengthy list of lunch sandwiches and specials. Turkey pesto, turkey club, chicken salad and Ruben just to name a few.Everyone there is polite and fast. This place is just a part of the neighborhood.“

“The summit has been one of my favorite places since the day it opened. They have hands down the BEST Mac and cheese I've ever had. (I literally call and ask if they have it, believe me, if you know, you know!) they have the most creative cocktails and an amazing staff. I love the chill vibe with candles and dim lights. The burger was juicy and grilled to perfection. The loaded fries had a remarkable homemade cheese sauce and fresh cooked bacon. The boneless chicken chunks were very fresh with mouth watering sauces of honey barbecue and Tai Sweet Chili. My husband said the Cajun Chicken Mac was the best he has ever had. We live in Ohio and found Nox's on the "googler" after visiting the training camp. We will surely be stopping here everytime we come to town!“

The food is bomb?, I had the Philly steak with mushrooms and beer cheese, a side of fries and my husband had the Rodeo burger ? with fries also we had the Fish sandwich/fries and the twice fried chicken wings with the house bbq/onion rings and everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious.“

“I visited Bar Botanico roughly 1 month ago. I entered the building and almost turned around out the door because it looked crowded. The host politely shouted out "we have room for two" so my partner and I returned back. He let us know he could get our drink order while we waited for a two top table to clear which he assured us would happen soon. My partner has severe peanut, tree nut and shellfish food allergies and the host asked us immediately about our allergies. While my partner got beer (allergy comfort zone), they ensured my drinks were made in a separate shaker and let him know that he could try them if he wanted since they made them separate and left out any allergens. This was a lovely place for someone with allergies and it was really unexpected and wonderful. I will definitely be back. Oh I forgot to add the drinks were delicious, I enjoyed watching the bartenders work. We did not eat here so I can't speak to the food but very happy with everything else we experienced.Dietary restrictions: Very allergy friendly/accommodating.“

“My Wife and I have been to pretty much every high-end Steak restaurant in Pittsburgh and the Vandal consistently has the best Steak we have had. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye for two and it was extremely tender, succulent and tasty. I believe the Vandal's ability to consistently provide the best steak experience is due to the Sous Vide cooking of the steak initially, with a grill or sear before service. And don't forget about perfect twice fried frites! Everything was great as well as great service.“
