“For the second year in a row, we hosted our family reunion dinner for 30 people in the China Wok's lovely event room on a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect due to owner Lin's attention to detail. She met in advance with me to plan the menu, taking into consideration our budget, dietary preferences, and the mixed age group of 2 months to 97 years. The decor was pretty, the servers were pleasant and helpful, our guests loved the food! The platters came out looking as visually pleasing as they were tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for Lin! We are grateful to the China Wok for the special time we shared with our family there.“

“We started coming here just a few weeks ago. It's close by but didn't know it was here. Beat Crab Rangoons PERIOD. Have gotten 3 dishes myself. General Tso chicken, pepper steak and a healthy shrimp and broccoli dish. Have gotten egg rolls and they are some of the best hi eat food I've had. I love hot and sour soup but it's just ok. Not sure but it doesn't have the tangy flavor I like in hot and sour soup it's sorta bland. Atmosphere is ok, typical Chinese sit-down place but the food and great service is exceptional. Oh and the free noodles they give you when you sit down are great crispy and fresh.“

“I'm noticing the average review for this restaurant is below a four. That rating is too low for a restaurant like this we always get it delivered and it is amazing the pork fried rice is the best and the spare ribs are perfect everything else I've tried is good too.“

“It was my birthday and I was craving sushi. I looked around at a few places and I decided to try this place. I looked at the menu before going and they had a lot of great choices. The staff was amazing. They were very nice and helpful. We had no wait for a table either. The food was very delicious, definitely worth coming here to try. I was very amazed that it came out on a boat like that too. I loved it. These were the rolls we ordered. Eagle Roll, Lobster Roll, Tiger Roll, Dancing Shrimp Roll, and King Dragon Roll.“

“My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.“

“I got the Jajangmyeon and I really enjoyed it. It's hard to find this dish in South Jersey. It's located in the food court of Hmart Philadelphia (Front Street location). Service is friendly and this Hmart is located in a large plaza with ample parking. I would like to get it again if I'm ever in the area. 4.5/5.“

“The best place for dim sum in Northeast Philly according to us locals. They open 9:30am for dim sum in the push carts however the kitchen doesn't open until 11am for specially requested dishes. Tax is always included. Unfortunately, the bathroom to my several experience always runs cold water for washing hands :( .“

“I move around the country a lot and one of my first priorities after a move is to find my “go-to” strip mall Chinese restaurant. I’m very happy that I found that place with China Gate. The food and customer service are outstanding. If you want my recommendation, the boneless spare rib lunch special and the Kung Pao Chicken are very tasty. They always pack the food meticulously and with care. Portions are good too. I’ll be back often.“

“I called them if I can pay by cash when they deliver and they were very informative and nice about it. They close at 11:30 at the time of ordering and I ordered at 11:00 and they came around 11:40, they were not mad about it at all and the food was sooooo Delious. 2 fried rice with orange chicken and god was that chicken so good“

“I've ordered from this place a few times now since I moved to the area. It's hard to find decent Chinese food in bucks county, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food is always good and the things I order are always flavorful. They give you large portions as well. The prices are good too. I have never eaten in this establishment, only take out. So I don't know how the service is.“

Laundry mat, some small stores, and really just decent foot traffic. Off the main road though so getting in and out is a breeze.Place was empty, must have just opened for the day. Atmosphere was nice. Had the typical Asian food spot vibe, but this place was very clean. It is easy to see how clean it is when no one is eating in there. I mean even the bathrooms were well taken care of. Only downside, no AC and today was hot, and I’m eating hot food. I don’t know their situation so a minor complaint because…The food was rocking. I mean it kicked butt. The food was fresh because it was scorching hot as it came out. Had to wait for it to cool off. Egg roll crunched hard as you bit into it. I got the beef with string beans and the shrimp lo mein—both were freshly made to order, and came with delicious pork fried rice and a chonky eggroll.The lady who took my order was friendly and patient, and the two chefs in the back clearly enjoy their work! “SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“

The outside of this Chinese Take Away is very noticeable with its bright colors. The order area is encased in bulletproof glass because of the sketchy area. I ordered Happy Family and Wonton Soup; both of which were flavorful and not greasy. The only downside that I see to this place is the lack of acceptance of credit cards. There are atms inside, but with all the sketchy people around, I wouldn't risky using the atm inside. Arrive with cash ready!“
