“We used Mars Farmhouse Cafe to cater our daughter’s first birthday party. The team was on time, friendly, and got everything set up and ready for our guests. The food was fantastic and fresh. We got numerous comments on how good the chicken tenders and Mac and cheese was. I would highly recommend them for any of your future catering needs and will most certainly be using them again in the future!”

Not only was the pizza delicious, but the owner was so friendly, took the time to talk to me and my kids and even offered to help me to the car while juggling little ones. “I've spent 30 years in Los Angeles (and Mexico and around the world) enjoying amazing Mexican/Hispanic cuisine. We are finally getting some authentic and creative Hispanic food in the Burgh! Yesterday I tried Tepache Fox Chapel. The menu was very creative with authentic dishes from around the world. I tried the birria tacos. They were perfect! "A Jalisco staple. Quick-fried chipotle-corn tortilla stuffed with beef slow-marinated in chile de árbol and cinnamon, topped with raw onion, cilantro, melted queso Oaxaca. Served with lime and consomé broth for dipping." Yes they even came with console broth!!!!! The drink menu was also very creative! Great service and as we know a beautiful restaurant!”

“We live in the area and have come here several times since finding it a couple years ago. Never disappointed! We've had steaks, burgers, chicken - always good. Tonight I tried the watermelon jicama salad, and it was delicious. They have a good variety of drinks, from beers on tap to specialty cocktails and of course the long list of whisk(e)ys. My one complaint is I learned tonight the chocolate crème brûlée is no longer on the menu. Seriously, one of the best desserts I've ever had - the chocolate raspberry torte was a very good second option, though.”

And then there's value- Eat n Park really delivers with fair pricing. This is a Pittsburgh staple and I love that Eat n Park is part of our community. I go 3 times a week (sometimes more) simply because of the variety, friendly staff and consistently good quality meals. Eat n Park deserves nothing less than 5 Stars. Keep up the pride! “Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!”

“Good food but be aware it's stated that they close at 2pm but the kitchen closes at 1:30pm. That's not posted. We drove 50 minutes only to be turned away. Arrived at 1:40 well before the 2pm closing. They should post that with their hours.”

“Spello is such a unique spot for the neighborhood of Cranberry flooded by chains. The focus on authentic Italian dishes with modern flare filled a void in the area. I really enjoyed the food and drink here. I am hoping this spot will be resurrected.”

“What a wonderful place! First of all, the staff were warm and super friendly. The coffee was delicious and they can serve you in ceramic cups (a huge win for me)! I had a perfectly brewed almond latter with 1 pump of Irish cream, and hubby had a nitro cold brew. Both were a treat. Prices are on par with Starbucks, so ditch them and drop over to Convive and support your local business.”

She has a large attention to detail and strives to make her customers happy however possible. “Novel Breads is a small bakery that sells sourdough breads in flavors that I cannot find elsewhere. It also sells some gourmet foods from other businesses, some books, and some home decor.The baker-owner draws inspiration for her breads from books that she reads. The breads are available in several flavors and can be specially ordered. Each loaf of bread costs about several dollars.I purchased the following six breads: Milk Buds, Gentleman’s Black Bread, Roasted Garlic Bread, Chocolate Babka, Roasted Orange Martini Bread, and Pesto Italiano. These loaves were a good size, were freshly baked, and tasted very good.Please note that this bakery has limited hours, and it is located on the side of the professional building.”
