American all the way! Read the dam menu! Monday night came to Carlucci's in Oxford Valley. We were looking forward to a good Italian restaurant and a great piece of chicken parmesan. Unfortunately that never happened. The staff is wonderful but if you read the menu all chicken and meat is Halal. How many people just don't realize what that means but I'm an American all the way and this is an Italian restaurant and halal meat Is meat prepared the Muslim way. People don't realize that the animals suffer enough and should be dispatched in Is a kind and humane way. Muslim way means that they are hung upside down with their throat slit and until the blood drains from their bodies. This is a slow and painful death the animal knows exactly what is happening. Eventually they die. The keyword here is eventually it's slow and painful. Anyway this all-American girl came into an Italian restaurant for chicken parmesan only to find out that the animal that was feeding her would have suffered so no I will not eat halal meat. There should be choices. How can an Italian restaurant cater to only one group of People?. No matter how much I like the staff I must remove Carlucci's from my list of places to eat. So unfortunate
