I was visiting Newtown for a vacation and found this place recommended to me by the host in the house I rented out.It was an interesting grocery place to be in. It was like a regular market you can buy Italian products like dried pasta, sauces, snacks, etc. But there was a deli section in the market with pre-made Italian food sitting on hot plates.I bought a few to try and they were delicious! It’s like stepping into my grand parents home . Great pastries and a vast collection of imported goods. Great Balsamic from Modena — dry pasta from Sicily and further up the boot. Don’t pass up the mozzarella cheese creamy and fresh. Great breads to smother your roasted peppers and Mortadella sliced so you can almost see through it. I guess I like it! Although I have not had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant I never leave without Pinole cookies!
