Bugsy

Grey Stone is our place to go for family events. Food is always excellent, staff is friendly and helpful, the relaxed atmosphere and peaceful, country setting makes this our go-to place. Try the porkchop, it's phenomenal.

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary over the weekend and The Grey Stone was a perfect choice! They made us feel so special. The food was top notch and the service was impeccable. I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends!!

Beautiful decor, but very noisy. Hostess & server were very good, helpful. My husband had a Greystone salad with chicken on top -- the salad was good, but the chicken was very dry. Flourless chocolate dessert was excellent!

First, the service was impeccable. The waiter (forgot his name) was on the ball. Drinks were normal size - I like them slightly larger. The only disappointment was the chicken cutlet- roll overwhelmed it. Definitely coming back. It's been three years since the last visit.

The food was good and so were the drinks. My one complaint is that the salad did not come with bread and the desert was small in comparison to other restaurants of this caliber I do think that it was a bit pricey for what you get. I know that things are expensive because of inflation but maybe they could cut some where else.

The food was fantastic. I had the steak and my wife had the pork chop, which I tried. Hands down the best pork chop ever. The waitress was incredibly kind as well. I will def return and recommend to others.

I've been at Greystone a handful of times and enjoyed each experience, but this experience was definitely the best. Donna, our server, took great care of us. Made sure we got everything we needed and beyond, and was very polite. We will definitely be coming back hoping she's our server again!

The hamburger was among the best I have ever tasted: juicy, cooked perfectly, and its condiments complemented the beef really well. The gluten-free bun was delicious; we will be back!

Fresh delicious food every time. The octopus, Bolognese, salmon and garlic Cesar are among our favorites!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Food, service are always good. My only complaint from this particular visit is the dessert. We ordered the Basque Apple Cheesecake. I found it to be a poor value for the $14, it was quite a small piece, and tasted very bland. An unusual and disappointing occurrence for this restaurant.

Loved the location and building. Interior very nice. Bartender amazing. The music for such an upscale restaurant was all over the place. How about a little Frank Sentra or Michael Buble? Outside, go for the crowd! Everyone dining in our room was at least in their 50s. Service was very good. I ordered a Filet and wanted to compare it to many other restaurants we have eaten at. This Filet was sliced thin and played on mashed potatoes. Not at all what I expected. It was not bad but definitely not for the price of a Filet Mignon. I also ordered Asparagus. I had a hard time even cutting these with their Not Sharp knife. The girlfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. What a mess. She ended up having to take it off our bill. The lighting above our table was blinding! I spoke to the owners mom, Mary and wish all the best for her. We are always looking for go-to restaurants and pray for The Grey Stone to succeed. We were so excited about this restaurant but unfortunately can not add them to our top ten. Just an addition; their salad wedge was exceptional. One of the best I have ever Seen.

Sadly, this place needs an update to their menu. They try to present a "gourmet" presentation and seem to not understand that adding a multitude of ingredients makes for a wonderful mix of taste. Had the crab cakes that were smothered in sauce that was supposed to be a shrimp sauce that was inedible. Sent it back to remove the sauce. Crab cakes were not lump crab, buy frozen Phillip's and you'll be much happier. Sent that back too. Settled on arancini appetizer for dinner which was ok except for dipping sauces. Dining partner only could find smash burger to order. Caesar salad is not what you will expect at all. Cocktails are light on the liquor. Service was good, not paced properly and the server was more like a Applebees level server although very nice. Space is beautiful and the owner came over to introduce herself, and was very nice. She asked about difficulties with food. Chef brought out replacement crab cakes and just basically threw them at me. Would return in the summer to eat outside because the patio is beautiful and order chicken sandwiches!

My family and I have been to Greystone multiple times since 2018.I've always brought friends over to have dinner or lunch and I have always advertised how good the food is. However, yesterday Sunday, April 7 I took a couple of friends along with my family there, but this time something seemed to be wrong. I ordered the same salad that I used to -Greystone salad with octopus- which usually comes with a couple or three pieces of fried goat cheese and a decent amount of mixed greens etc.. This time I only got a small plate which looked more like a half salad. My daughter ordered a calamari, which again was so small. The server was great but the food took about 45 minutes to be served. I truly think that there was a problem at the place because as I said before I had never had problems there.

The credit card surcharge is ridiculous with the already huge markup on the menu items. You are doing yourselves a disservice being petty being an upscale restaurant. Just bury the cost in the menu. Other than that, the place is nice.
