“We have eaten at this restaurant several times and love it. We ate upstairs tonight for the first time. It was much more quiet than downstairs. Service and food are always excellent.”
“With an ever-changing menu, I know that no matter what vegan dish I order from Primary it’s always going to be exciting and delicious. Many of the dishes have kept me up at night from the french toast to the cheesesteak and the jackfruit medianoche.Chef Mark has always been hospitable and attentive, and you can tell how much passion he has for his plates and his community. This restaurant is truly a gem in Philly and the team behind its magic deserve all the success. If you’re looking for a place to try, you cannot go wrong by visiting Primary.”
“Butcher and Singer is our go to steak house. Always excellent food and top notch service.! It was my husband's and my anniversary. I made note of it in my reservation, really not expecting anything except “Happy Anniversary “. At the end of our meal our waiter brought out a beautiful desert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! This restaurant never disappoints!!”
“Outstanding food and service! We’ve been fans of Stina since they opened , we are lucky to have them in our neighborhood:) the food is always fresh and authentic some of our favorite dishes include Spicy soppressata , Moroccan chicken, veg pide just to name a few!!!”

“Ate there yesterday and friendly Atmosphere, very friendly and excellent food”
“For goodness sake come here if you’re within 50 miles of Philly. An absolutely spectacular meal. The creativity and execution are better than Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I’m just amazed he hasn’t won a James Beard yet - shame on them.”

“Our wedding cake tasting was so much fun, and it was hard to pick which flavors to go with because everything was just delicious! The actual wedding cake was gorgeous, and they even recommended a budget friendly way for us to incorporate wildflowers! They could have totally just charged us more and done whatever they wanted to fit our inspiration photos, but they made a really thoughtful suggestion of us ordering dried flowers on amazon, and they used those. They went above and beyond to make the cake perfect for us and our special day”
“Loved this place back in the day. Great neighborhood spot. Great staff. Clean. Unfortunately haven’t been able to return in years because they don’t offer vegan options besides avocado toast. Hoping they one day at tofu scramble eggs, or “just egg” and maybe like vegan sausage, vegan butter etc. of course not expecting them to reinvent the menu but having a couple of vegan options would really open up their market more”
“Short Rib - Take out, grill yourself. Super easy and delicious.”
“Awesome menu, great vibes and really tasty food. Must try this place.”

“Atmosphere was very nice. Can be an extremely long wait time but I understand it because the place is small. Would recommend you get there put your name down and then grab a bite to eat. El Rey next door was great.”
“Awesome menu, great vibes and really tasty food. Must try this place.”
“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.”
“Short Rib - Take out, grill yourself. Super easy and delicious.”
“This is my new favorite spot! The food is incredible and the drink menu is on point!”
“Bought shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, esquites, chicken tacos and guacamole. The only downside is that the chicken tacos were made with dark chicken thigh meat, I wrongly assumed it would be chicken breast (my fault for not asking).Otherwise good decent food!”
“Wonderful time at Sakana this weekend! Their sushi is unparalleled in Philly and the service is impeccable.”
“We went for dinner around 5pm today with a group of 7 and everything was fantastic!!! The food was so fresh and flavorful. You can definitely tell they put love into their food and pride themselves on great presentation. BYOB with great mixers and smoothies. The service was very attentive and friendly. Very cozy inviting atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!!”
“It would be nice to be able to hold a conversation back where the “booth” tables are. Instead, we had to scream all night. And either unneeded A/C - it was already a cool night - or opened doors led to semi-constants cold drafts. The food was reliably good, and nothing beats the gelato. Attention to the setting would mean a lot.”
“We plan trips to Philadelphia just to visit this amazing bar. We can’t oversell this…absolutely the best cocktails we have ever had. There are strict house rules for a reason and we appreciate that. Always a wonderful evening at Hop Sings. Leave your phones at home and enjoy the atmosphere and fine crafted drinks.”

“Nice date spot. We came on a whim as this was a recommendation from a local distillery. It was our anniversary and we happened to be visiting from LA. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a lovely meal with wine and ice cream.”
“I enjoyed dining at Her Place, I definitely felt like I was having a meal in someone's home. The restaurant is tiny and every table has a view of the kitchen. I dined by myself so I was placed at one of the two window seats. My back was toward the kitchen and I had to turn around each time the chef was describing the dishes. The menu wasn't something I would have normally chosen for myself, it was very seafood focused but it was all around tasty. The main dish was a quail and morels. My favorites of the night were the chicken liver pate with radishes and homemade Ritz cracker. They really did taste like a Ritz but much elevated. My other favorite of the night was the dessert: the rhubarb, cream cheese semi freddo, and meringue was to absolutely die for. You could really taste the cream cheese. Also notable was the sauce Americaine in the quenelle/lobster dish, I wanted to scoop it up and lick the plate. I see people complaining how it wasn't enough food since you had to share, I didn't have this problem, as I was solo and was able to eat full plates of everything. I enjoyed the final touches at the end, giving out cookies and a bag of Chex Mix. Bravo. I'd maybe come back if I were to travel to Philadelphia again. $120 after tax and tip.”
“Celebrated our 5th anniversary here tonight while visiting Philly. Beautiful ambiance and impeccable service. Rebecca our server was kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our experience great. We did the Chef’s which was seasonal, thoughtful and delicious. Each serving was creative and intriguing. Compliments to Chef Kevin McWilliams. If you live in or near the Philly area please give this place a try!”
“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.”
“I had a great brunch. Loved the atmosphere. Food was excellent. I’ll definitely be back”

“This has to be my absolute favorite brunch spot in Philly. It’s first come first serve, but they usually do a pretty good job at seating you as fast as possible. The food is TO DIE FOR. Anything you get is so tasty.”
“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We concluded with a Turkey tea…it amazingly taste good. Will definitely visit this place again….to Elif, thank you very much.”

“I had the plov , manti , and drank compote . The service was phenomenal. I felt very welcomed and at home . The food is on another level , packed with flavor and seasoning . The manti was so well priced , the meat inside was so delicious . Highly recommended.”
“Fun vibe… Good place to hear live music”
“ ??I liked the service, the fresh interior, the dishes, and most importantly, all the food was fresh, not heated in a microwave. I ordered pilaf, manti, mastava ? and tea. I hope it will be the same in the future.”
“If you haven't stopped to check it out, it's about time! A lot of homemade foods but their homemade honey cake (medovik) is over the top! They have regular, coconut and chocolate varieties and they are all to die for! The meat is halal and it is so fresh- they have every day deliveries. Order what you need and the butcher cuts it in front of you! Excellent Uzbek vibe - both in the store and the restaurant. Recommend!”
“Chewys was the perfect choice for our wedding dinner. Our site was in Philly park that had no catering kitchen or amenities.During our tasting, he gave us two boxes to take home. There was too much for the two of us, so I dropped off one box with our friends. When I called the next day to ask my friend's girlfriend how it was, she responded, "I don't know, he inhaled it before I could try it." We were sold after that. They were super friendly and provided lightning-fast service during the meal. Their ability to serve the hungry crowd without sacrificing quality or hospitality was truly impressive. Our guests were delighted and many went back to try other options on the menu. I have one uncle-in-law that said he went back to try everything. We recently learned that Chewys is opening up their own brick&mortar restaurant soon. I can't wait to go visit.”
“I loved the food!I ordered some dumplings, some deep fried wings with fried rice and a general tso chicken with tostones. Everything was good and on point. We left work late and the man took our order, prepared everything quickly and delicious. The only thing that would improve a little would be the cleanliness of the front of the business, but we already know what most of these restaurants are like. This one looks much better than average.100% recommended.”
“Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. I’m deaf and both windows were good at getting me my order and food. I’ll be back!”
“Their prices is very reasonable for a case of cupcakes, and even cakes that you would see in a regular supermarket are reasonable. And the taste is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.”
“The food was excellent. There is no atmosphere due to its you pull up to the window and order from there. It’s a part of town on passyunk Avenue. The food was excellent.”
“Tried the chips and guacamole while waiting for a friend who is getting a surgical procedure done. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I’m picky about guacamole but this was so good! I also got the white cheddar cheese cubes, they were also very good. The salads all look amazing, I wish I had tried one of those as well. I wish more places had one of these vending machines!”
“WOW! Amazing customer service! The sandwiches are freaking AWESOME!! I literally hurt myself eating the Malik with added bacon. I completely recommend this place! It was a great experience!!”
“I actually used to work here something unfortunate happened it was one of the managers ion and two servers working there but at the end of the day I will say they have great food and they do have great servers and I would recommend it to friends and family absolutely”
“Best chicken for taste, quality, and quantity for the price! One of the main reasons I don't frequent KFC as often as I used to is the high cost. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is the perfect cost effective way to have your chicken and eat it too.”
“My overall experience was good. I have been here 2x. The first visit was excellent, and I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, my 2nd visit was not 5 stars. We made reservations as usual, but one person in our party wasn't able to make it. So they downgraded our seats to a circle booth table meant for 2 people. I was not happy but thought we drove far, so let's make it work. We ordered drinks, cornbread, and entrees. I ordered the short ribs. I asked if it was possible to substitute a side and was told no. Ok. I still ordered the ribs. Unfortunately, when it came out, it was fatty. I spoke with the waiter who spoke with the cook 2x. Finally, a new cut was offered, but by that time, I was unhappy. Even though my experience was not the best, I still tipped 20% because it's not the servers/waiters' fault.”
“We visited for first time and will definitely come back very soon! Don’t miss this amazing place, delicious food and exceptional service. Exceptional cuisine. Just imagine you are visiting your grandma’s house and she is cooking her food for you. Exactly the same taste and exactly the same atmosphere”

“Great atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food.”
“such a cute cafe! I’ve been wanting to stop by for the longest but never had the time to until recently. I walked in and the gentleman at the register recommended “the Antonio” sandwich…and let me tell you, I came back the next day for another one! It was so good! The 2nd time around, I was able to get my hands on their tarts and they were delicious. Will def continue to make my way in.”
“Food so good I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Delicious drinks. Definitely coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The best Pho I’ve had in the city. It’s cash only but they have an ATM there. One of the biggest appeals for me other than the food is that they always seat you immediately and bring out your food practically as fast as you order it. It’s also at a good price point. Depending on when you go parking is usually hard to find so you’re probably better off parking on the street nearby.Parking: Depending on when you go parking can be hard to find. I would suggest looking for street parking as you get close.”
“So lucky to call Herman's my neighborhood coffee spot. There's inside and outside seating, and the market always has something weird and new. Bonus, there are usually Weckerly's ice cream sandwiches in the freezer.”
“Pineapple Raisin Tamale is understated! Get Pineapple Raisin Tamale if it is offered. Get two! Get Three! It's pretty awesome and I am kicking myself for getting just one and having to share! Relative to the tacos I think these tamales may not get as much publicity but they are unique and fantastic! Of course the tacos are great as well. Of the two taco versions, Lamb and Pork, the Pork was my favorite. The lamb was slightly dry and maybe needed a little spice for my taste. If you have to get them to go because of lack of seating, don't wait too long to eat! If only their standard hours of business were better I'd be there more often.”

“Quintessential French Bistrot. Menu is short but each dish is expertly prepared. Be sure to stay for dessert. Knowledgeable and helpful waiter. Aperitives & Digestives would be hard to find elsewhere in PA. Cocktails are also good. Relatively 'chill' environment on a Friday night.”

“We had a delicious and super fun dinner at Corey’s! The menu is extensive and they are happy to accommodate any dietary restriction or concern. Flavors were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the chicken curry dumplings and the shrimp vermicelli.Corey was just fantastic. We enjoyed getting to know him and his culinary background. He made us feel so much at home!We did sing some karaoke after our meal lol. We were closing down the shop and honestly it was a blast. I cannot recommend this place enough! For delicious and flavorful take out, call directly. Or come in person for a fun time. You won’t regret it!”
“Great selection of unique wines. Friendly staff. Has a couple Wine Club options- we’ve been members for a couple years and love the diversity of options and value.”
“Awesome place to come with friends. I will come back again. BYOB friendly. Open until 3am, can you believe it? and the thing I love more was the people who work there, thank you”
“First time checking this place out. The young people that work here provided very good customer service. The soft vanilla ice cream was good as well as the cookie dough hard ice cream and vanilla soft ce cream with sprinkles.I would recommend this place. Another bonus is that this place has a drive through and some parking spaces.”
“Thank you and all the staff who served us while we had a fantastic dinner the other week. The food and service were excellent. If in the area again I would definitely go back :)”
“service was great! the three young men were really on top of all the orders. I have a store cloister to me, but this location will be my go to place”
“So darn good! Get three of these for lunch and it’s perfect. Wish they would bring back the starter flavors. But everything is delicious. Kids will also love it!”
“Very laid back chill Quiet atmosphere great hospitality and peaceful very much relaxingKid-friendliness: The atmosphere was family kid friendly such a cool spot for everyone plus it's BYOB IF WE CAN HAVE WINE I'm coming EVERY TIME ?”
“Stopped by the Food Truck Festival in Pottstown today. food is excellent , service is great and they were very friendly. Got the rice/ salad with chicken and spicy pineapple sauce. Amazing!”
“If i could give half starts service would be 3.5 stars because it's gotten better but the issues I experienced were avoidable. Also be careful in this shopping center because Wawa's is sketchy.”
“Stopped by the Food Truck Festival in Pottstown today. food is excellent , service is great and they were very friendly. Got the rice/ salad with chicken and spicy pineapple sauce. Amazing!”
“After decades away from Philly it was so nice to stumble into The Huddle again. Olney dive bar that's like a time capsule inside. Good vibes, cold beer & friendly bartenders.”
“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. “An amazing experience. My sister booked the private room with the wine pairing for our party. The staff was amazing. Chefs Chris and Ryan do an amazing job and our bartender, Aden, was also fantastic. Usually these fancy tasting menus can be pretentious and not that good but the food was delicious and the staff was warm, welcoming, passionate about what they do and everything but pretentious. A wonderful evening, would love to go back.”
“Food was great, especially for the price. I really enjoyed the modern twist on the omakase. It was also for a birthday and we appreciated the little fan fare they did for us.”
“WOW!!! What an absolute gem to find in this neighborhood! The speakeasy vibe of walking through Izakaya to get to the double doors and enter a completely different cool hip hop lounge atmosphere is so different than any restaurant I've been to, I knew right then this would be an experience we wouldn't forget! Then the SUSHI... the SERVICE... the MUSIC ... the DRINKS all took it above and beyond expectations. Incredible experience. I can't believe the variety and quality of sushi we ate only was $60... insane! Don't miss this totally unique dining experience... we're all still talking about it! We're already planning toCheck out their other locations with different themes the Host told us about!”
“Unique food, cozy, candlelit atmosphere. Our group enjoyed it tremendously. Highly recommend.”
“Outstanding food and service. Highly recommend tuna con coco ceviche, caldo santo (halibut), and pasteles de Cordero (lamb).Dietary restrictions: I am on a dairy-free and gluten-free diet, and the server went out of his way to help with ensuring both were accommodated.”
“Went last week and had an amazing experience especially the assistance we received from our waitress and the pastry chef. I had the one of the special entrees of the day- duck breast and since I’m not drinking, their lavender lemonade was both cute and tasty. A little tart, but very lemonadey. My husband got a ton a stuff that I don’t remember, but he enjoyed every drink, appetizer ( it was a tuna bonbon special) and entree. I’ve driven past this place for years, so it was great to finally pop in. Added bonus, located in northwest Philly which is such an amazing part of the city.”
“Had a wonderful dinner experience here! Everything from the creative dishes to the cozy upscale vibe to the excellent service was perfect. We loved every part of the tasting menu and can't wait to go back! Also super grateful that they accommodated celiac dietary needs and made the meal fully gluten free. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: chef accommodated gluten free for celiac with advance notice”
“This place has the best cozy vibe in the winter. Perfect for a date night, especially if you're celebrating something. I loved the tasting menu. Everything was delicious and felt very fancy. The cocktails were also delicious and our server was amazing. The only qualm I have is that it was pretty pricey.”
“Waitress was very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Other staff were friendly and courteous. Food was excellent, tastes wonderful and plated beautifully. The interior might remind you of an old time elegant railroad car with curved ceiling, crystal chandeliers, etc. great place for special occasions.”
“Irwin’s is an Italian restaurant located inside Bok Building, which was an old school revitalized as an artsy complex space. From the school desks to the chairs, the vintage furnishings of Irwin’s give a nostalgic vibe.*Shallot and Thyme Focaccia **They change the housemade foccacia flavor regularly. Glad that we got to try the shallot and thyme one. The bread dough was pillowy with a shiny brown surface, while not feeling oily at all. The sweetness from the caramelized shallot and the herby fragrance from thyme made a harmonious flavor duet.*1/2 Agrodolce Chicken**SERIOUSLY how could they make the chicken (even the chicken breast!) so tender and juicy? Also can we talk about the gremolata? It was fantastic as a dish itself, and add extra textures and tangy flavors if you spread it over the meat.*Trofie (half)We know their carbs wouldn’t be as amazing as their proteins but we still wanted to try. The pasta was cooked to al dente. The mushroom truffle flavor was exactly what you could easily imagine. Nothing mindblowing here.*Milk & Honey GelatoWe picked this right away because I saw it had “pistachio”. The honey was very sweet, but premium in flavor. My cravings was fully satisfied as they didn’t skimp on the crushed pistachios on top. Lowkey wished that the gelato melted a bit slower.”
“The food and service were outstanding and the ambiance was perfect for our Anniversary dinner.”
“The atmosphere and view arguably paralleled. The energy was great. Our server Rosie was great and attentive. The drinks (mocktail & cocktails) were phenomenal. Corey the bartender created a mocktail for me and it was a blueberry passion fruit flavor bomb ?. The food was good but not great... didn't wake up my taste buds but pleased my palate. We went ala carte instead of the tasting course menu... I would recommend for the entire experience.”
“We took advantage of the OpenTable deal that was running in April to see the Burlesque show. Dinner pretty good, the udon dish was delicious. A bit more expensive than expected for the drinks, even for a setting like this, but they were very good. Our server Bryn was great. The show was wonderful and we had a great view from our seats on the first floor. Worth the experience!”
“Wonderful time at Sakana this weekend! Their sushi is unparalleled in Philly and the service is impeccable.”
“This is my new favorite spot! The food is incredible and the drink menu is on point!”

“Delicious ice cream, charming ambiance (moulin rouge-cirque du soleil vibes mixed with a daydream) and a diverse menu that would cater to whatever mood I’m in. Chris was awesome in breaking down all the options and served us up something tasty. Love this place!”
“I never had Vietnamese egg coffee before. It is absolutely amazing. The food was great and the staff was so nice. I would highly recommend trying its great place”
“Located in the heart of Chinatown, another establishment that doesn't take credit cards. Instead payment is via Venmo. So I guess that great since you don't need to pay tax. They have a limited selection of baked goods (see photos) and drinks. Menu is a bit chaotic to read (but this is Chinatown). Baked items are very fresh. Limited seating inside though. Prices are cheap for this economy.”
“This place is a must! Great vibes, divey setting, and don't forget to order the city wide special (PBR & shot of Jack Daniels) for $5!!We will definitely be back to this watering hole!”
“Great tasting, no-BS beers and cool friendly staff. All you need in a brewery!”
“Great location. Only a short wait to be seated. Very good hosts working well to get guests to a table. Kristina was our waitress and she was great. Friendly and good service!”
“Love The Kettle Black! Amazing vegan croissants, bagels & other treats! Their cold brew is always on point! Super friendly and talented folks!”
“Cool little space with lots of character. I went on a Friday night around 12AM and got a chicken sandwich and fries, which hit the spot just right. The server was so nice, and the prices were pretty good for what you get. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Philly.Vegetarian options: There's a lot of vegetarian offerings which are accessible on their website.”
“Food is great very creative I’d recommend the shrimp taco, new favorite place drinks are good too not watered down like other places. Service here is awesome. Leah is great our second visit she remembered my name she treats her regulars like we visit everyday. At one point I thought she was the owner bc she does such a great job running the place. This is now my favorite place to go.”
“The woman who took our order was very patient and kind. It was our first time here, and she was very kind. The food was very good too, and we didn’t have to wait too long for it either.”
“We came for lunch and it really hit the spot. A variety of oysters are on the menu and we had fun trying all of them. The grilled salmon salad was excellent, especially if you like arugula. The salmon was so wonderfully cooked, melty inside and nice char outside. The fries are also delicious.”

“We went on a Tuesday afternoon. I found a ♿️ spot close. The staff/owner are very helpful with menu and their service is gracious. We had appetizers then the platter for 2 that fed the 3 of use easily! ALL delish! Brought home deserts that were as enjoyable as our meal. From what I read on website the menu is slightly americanized. To my family it was perfect.”
“The best Korean BBQ in the Philadelphia area. They use charcoal for the grill which gives it a good charbroiled smokey flavor. The waiters cook the meat for you. Most other KBBQ places use electric / gas stove, so the charcoal is super cool.Slightly more pricey than the average KBBQ, but it makes sense because the quality, taste, and authenticity is way above average. The service is very good too. We got on the house korean soda drinks to try at the end of our meal from a kind older man.Def try !! It's super delicious.”
“Everything looked so great on the menu. It was hard to choose! We tried something from all of the sections on the menus. The oysters with grapefruit mignonette was delicious! The oysters were shucked and cleaned beautifully. The quail was excellent. We also ordered the pasta and duck. Both were delicious! We capped off the meal with the chocolate torte which had a bit of honeycomb cookie. The servers and food runners were excellent. Our food runner in particular was very enthusiastic about our dishes. Also loved that there were Zero-Proof beverage options! The menu is a bit pricey, but we thought it was worth it. I would happily go back and try more dishes.”
“celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday last night and everything was perfect.”
“I ordered the veggie Himalayan chili dumplings. There were 6 good sized dumplings to the order. The sauce was exquisite-flavor filled, lil spicy with a lingering heat and deliciousness. Sadly very little filling-just broccoli- tho I was told there was tofu inside but none to be found. I would go back for the amazing flavors craving more filled dumplingVegetarian options: Definitely could use more filling in the dumplings”
“Friendly staff! Hostess was great as was our server. I only know she had a unique name. Not a large menu but what they do offer is amazing. Great atmosphere too!”
“I had some excellent red wine a delicious Tiger Prawn appetizer and a tasty Short Rib Ravioli served with a Broccoli Rabe Pesto with a nice hit of Aleppo pepper. Very nice meal and I had to take some home with me.”
“came here for a friends birthday dinner last weekend - my friends and i had a great time! our server, Brazil, was attentive, kind, and helpful with answering our questions. entrees can be ordered on a spice level 1 to 5 but some dishes are naturally spicier than others so this doesn't always equate to exactly the spice level you expect. the fish moilee at spice level 2 was way spicier than paneer makhani at spice level 4. paneer makhani was good but could've been more flavorful. the paneer palak was our favorite dish. the paneer in both these dishes was some of the best i've had. samosas, garlic naan, and goat cheese naan were great. do be warned that 21% tip is automatically included for parties over 5. overall, the ambiance and service were 5/5. food was 4/5. not my favorite indian spot in philly, but very good nonetheless!”
“Our food was fresh, delicious, and healthful. The service was charming. And the space is warm and inviting. We recommend it to everyone!”
“Great covered outdoor patio along with tasty food - perfect combination.”
“Excellent. Great flavors, lovely presentation. Especially enjoyed the Tortelloni, Parsnip and Smoked potato plates. Good balance of textures and flavors.Fantastic service. Very pleasant and attentive staff.Well done??HIGHLY recommended ??????????Vegetarian options: VeganParking: Recommend parking on Fairmont Ave. 2 hours, no meters”
“This is a very overdue review so some of the details of our meal are a bit fuzzy, but everything we tried at Mawn was delicious and very flavorful! The restaurant itself is small/compact, but the service was exceptional and perfect for an intimate dining experience. The dishes are at a higher price point, but appropriate for a special occasion or if you're simply in the mood to try something unique. It can be hard to get reservations so planning ahead is recommended!”
“Finally tried out Next of Kin after wanting to for a good while. The vibes inside were phenomenal, with solid service and a lively atmosphere. The drinks we tried were delicious, with the espresso martini a highlight. Would come back!”
“I’m upset. I wish I had the appetite of four people. This brunch will be the crown jewel of the Italian market. The corn pancakes were phenomenal and there are 10 other things I can’t wait to try. Such a perfect atmosphere for brunch. I am already planning my visit for next week.”
“Totally unexpected and terrific! It's hard to find, but worth it for a nice menu of VERY LEGIT Indian dishes at reasonable family dining prices. The dining room is small but very cute, good for family dinner, or foody date. Enjoy!”
“Great atmosphere, fun pasta options and perfect service!”
“We happened upon this gem purely by chance. We had an amazing meal from A-Z (!!!) The sushi is phenomenal; sit at the newly designed sushi bar in the back and enjoy unique daily catches that come in through the connections the owner has with local fishermen. The restaurant is also known for their aged steaks, and Kobe prime rib, which we will try next time. I had the miso black bass and it was one of the best flavors with fish I have ever had. The broth had such a delicate shiitake mushroom flavor, which I loved. I literally couldn’t have had enough of this delicate, delicious dish. I could have had two orders and eaten it all! I think this dish epitomizes what the word UMAMI means. I also had the sautéed mushroom extravaganza, a treat for every taste bud of incredible flavors melted with a delicate sauce. My husband had their unique collection of sushi and sashimi choices that were all enjoyed at their stunningly beautiful sushi bar, complete with two young, passionate chefs who love what they do, and treasure their personal designs of the fish and rolls. All the rolls are presented in this great wooden cradle design, which I thought was so unique and functional. The owner was all smiles and genuinely happy to have had us try his new restaurant. I recommend it highly for either an exceptional steak meal (all are btw, so reasonably priced so order them for sure), or the traditional sushi. You won’t be disappointed. This will be our weekly go-to restaurant and we are counting the days until we will return, which actually will be next Tuesday the 9th! Bravo to the whole team at Umami and thank you for your passion for Japanese food, and for doing it right from A-Z. We will see you soon! Debbie and Gene”
“Cozy restaurant with a lot of energy. Hold off on eating the complementary bread because you'll need it for the outstanding mussel appetizer. Another must order is the orecchiette. One of the best pastas I've had in Philadelphia. The lamb shank was just ok. Unfortunately I just recently had it at another Philly restaurant and it was so much better. Barramundi which was a special was a huge disappointment. I've never seen so many things added to a fish dish to overwhelm what I consider to be an amazing fish. This is my second time at this restaurant where the entrees feel short. Stick to the appetizers and pastas. Service was outstanding.”
“Fantastic dining experience our server Sean Martin was amazing.”
“We stopped in for lunch, and it could not have been better! We had burgers, which were cooked to perfection and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!”
“Always great from the food through the cocktails (who doesn't luv Franky), atmosphere and attentive service! Even the parking lot shines! Shout out to Nicky for being very responsive, and enjoyable to talk too. Perfect for a special occasion or just to have great food. By far one of the top Italian restaurants in Philly!”
“It’s a nice small area in the city! I definitely wanted to try a meal that night that was culturally different from my usual orders and this did it! This place does a great job of making you feel like you’re in the European city and service was very friendly!Food choices are definitely different but great to experience”
“Excellent food and friendly and attentive service. Plates that can be shared and something for everyone”
“We had a nice lunch today! I loved my eggplant, tomato, and avocado tower. My friend loved her tomato basil soup and bacon grilled cheese! Our server was attentive, timely, and informative. It's a great go-to place at any time. Parking was plentiful! This time, we had some apps. Service and food are still great!”
“Awesome food and staff always fresh delicious ingredients!”

“Came from Wilmington for the 1st time today. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. All of the food was awesome. Worth the trip!”
“Illata is truly the perfect restaurant experience. Amazing food and amazing service with the perfect ambiance. Everything wowed us but the chicory salad, tuna, and banana cream puff were to die for. Illata deserves every accolade! Highly recommend to everyone!”
“Probably some of the best service I've received at a restaurant! The owner checked in a few times and showed us his joint business of a hookah lounge upstairs. We also learned about Ramiz's history and how it's a chain. This location is the first one established in the US. We received complimentary mix appetizer plate of dips and tea! Karişik Soğuk Meze / Mix Appetizer Plate- Hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and spicy vegetable dip THE SPICY VEGETABLE DIP IS INCREDIBLE! MUST TRY! Turkish meatballs - insanely moist and delicious! Would highly recommend! Chicken Adana wrap - could have used more meat in it and the fries were lacking salt but that's easily fixable! Sütlaç -the oven baked pudding was good The table cloth on the tables kept moving which was a bit frustrating, not sure what other restaurants do to hold it down. Menu has so many options, something for everyone. Bringing your family or a big friend group is a good idea!”
“Amazing food!! Been here multiple times. Never disappoints.”
“Food was great, especially for the price. I really enjoyed the modern twist on the omakase. It was also for a birthday and we appreciated the little fan fare they did for us.”
“Only been there twice, but was enthralled each time. These guys get it. The service is friendly and impeccable, the food is prepared meticulously, the dishes are creative and high quality. Love the mood of the place; the ambience is perfect. Highly recommend their jazz brunch.”

“I had the pleasure of enjoying this incredible omakase recently, and it completely blew me away! I loved watching the chefs prepare most of the delectable 29 bites (the hot dishes were prepared in the kitchen), and the customer service by all team members was fantastic. I've had wonderful omakase experiences all over the world, and this was one of the best that I've ever had. I cannot wait to go back.”
“I brought my dog here 2x so far and we absolutely love it here! The food is AMAZING! The staff are super friendly, attentive and go out of their way to get to know you and your pup to make sure everyone is having a great experience. We drive 1hr each way each time just to come here! My 5month old puppy loves coming here and getting the socialization he needs from humans and dogs alike!”

“Amazing atmosphere with incredible service and great food! Thank you Bellini!”
“Went here for a date night. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Incredible service, everyone is very friendly and accommodating and charming. Goes without saying that the food is incredible, especially for only $40/person. The pastilla was absolutely my favorite and I'd say the couscous was my least favorite. I'll be coming back with more people next time.”
“We visited Pera and it is great to know that the restaurant met expectations and was consistent with the excellent review in the PHiladelphia Inquirer.”
“Kiddo is THE place to be if you want amazing food, drinks, and service. Every item on their seasonally-rotating menu is fantastic. If you like the ingredients of the dish, it'll probably be the best *blank* you've ever had. They also consistently change my mind about things I don't normally try. A must for all foodies.”

“If you are looking for good food and are hungry 5/5 I would recommend. I saw this place on IG it sounded so good. All we can say is.... Oh ma gdness! Loved this place! The experience was so enjoyable, the food was so tasty! Our first experience at a vegan restaurant and all three, myself, my daughter, and a friend who are not vegan, but totally loved what we each picked. The menu variety was good, the food presentation was inviting. My daughter is a picky eater, and plate cleaned. The portions were a healthy size, the water was good, calming music, atmosphere, the staff was so pleasant, and the design decor was beautiful! We can't wait to return. Oh and price was fair. By the way, I had the chick-un veg Mac n cheese n saute kale, my daughter had the quinoa stir fry, our friend had the chick-un, n waffles. We also had the chickpea patties very tasty, the desert we're tasty also. Again can't wait to return! Thank you Nourish for the warm welcome, just loved the hospitality!”

“Had dinner for two in their inside dining room and the restaurnt is lovely. We each order the swordfish entree and the tirimasu and both were outstanding. It's pricey but worth it becuase the food is top-quality, the service was prompt and friendly, and the view is priceless.”
“Over all a good experience! The appetizers are probably the best part of the dining experience. The entrees are a little too high price for the quantity of food given. Albeit it is a higher end in terms of establishment I don't feel the elegance dictates portion. The dumplings of all sorts are certainly the highlight along with the robust and bountifully sized sides.Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegy options considering the menu type”
“Dined with coworkers, cool looking place. Everything was amazing, I can especially recommend the salmon, the pork belly & surf combo, & the tuna roll. SO happy we ate there!”

“Our server, Liam was exceptional. The young lady receptionist and young gentleman who greeted us were most kind and accommodating. Felt like we belonged. Food was excellent and a good variety. Seems going out to eat nowadays is getting more and more expensive. And comparing to other restaurant pricing... It was fair for $ value. We will return.”

“If you're a cheesesteak aficionado like me, then this spot is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. First off, let's talk about the star of the show - the cheesesteak itself. It's evident that they take pride in using only the freshest ingredients, with the steak never seeing the inside of a freezer. The soft sesame seed wedge perfectly complements the juicy, flavorful meat. And speaking of meat, they don't skimp on quality here. Wagyu, rib eye, and NY strip - need I say more? Each bite is a savory symphony of premium beef. What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to cooking each cheesesteak to order. No dried-out meat sitting on the side of the grill here. Every sandwich is crafted with care, ensuring maximum freshness and flavor. Now, I'll admit, the price may be a tad higher than your average cheesesteak joint, but trust me, it's worth every penny. You're paying for top-notch ingredients and impeccable craftsmanship. And the customer service was on point! From the friendly greeting at the door to the attentive staff throughout our meal, they made us feel like valued guests. If you're in downtown Philly craving a cheesesteak experience that's a cut above the rest, look no further. This place delivers on quality, flavor, and hospitality. Can't wait to come back for more!!”

The food was fresh and delicious. We also got the smoothie, which was very refreshing. We will be definitely recommending this place to our family and friends!”
“Service is both friendly and kind. We ordered an oat latte and an almond milk flat white to stay. We wanted to get pastries but at the time they had none left. I guess they make them little by little throughout the day because they told us more would be ready in twenty minutes or so. The presentation and execution is lovely. And I love the minimalist aesthetic. And there were several outlets available throughout the cafe for patrons doing some work. Plus points for a spacious and clean bathroom!”
