“Many months late but I owe this place a review. What a great experience.We did bar service, which in our case just meant being right up in the staff's faces while they cooked, but we love that vibe: ask about how your food is prepared, or why the recipe exists, or if they're playing around with an idea, and the folks at Irwin's (including the founder, Michael) will stop by and tell you all about their dinnerware, or why they do their caponata the way they do, or the relationship between Middle Eastern and Sicilian desserts. The drinks were amazing and the somm was super easy to talk to about the drink list. The mains were all very shareable - everyone wanted extra bites of everybody else's. And they're super generous. My dad had not had caponata and doubted he'd like it - caponata was my entry to eggplant done well so I disagreed. He won the argument, but Michael still sent over a sample. Plus the ambiance and decor are exactly what the BOK calls for and the views out the window are unspeakably cool. What a place.“

“Awesome mexican restaurant in Fairmount! The restaurant looks small from the front but stretches back into really fun dining room. There is a patio option that would be great on a sunny day. The staff was very friendly and personable. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did make a reservation beforehand. Our waitress made the recommendation for the Baja tacos and they did not disappoint (9/10) The carnitas tacos were excellent (9/10). We also started with the guacamole sampler, which comes with house chips and salsa. The plain guac was just average, but both the street corn and the spicy tuna guacamole were amazing. My friend and I split a margarita pitcher and they were great! A little sweet but perfectly strong. Easily 4 drinks in a pitcher. Overall this place is great for a first date, catching up with friends, or just some amazing food. Cantina Feliz will definitely be added into my regular rotation.“

“Came here for a girls-night-out/catch up with a good friend, since we wanted to "treat ourselves" to fancy, upscale, creative cocktails (rather than our usual dive bar City wide) - and this place did NOT disappoint. I got the gold dust woman (sage gin - pretty yummy, but not too strong. Simple and elegant.) and the Bela Lugosi's Dead (AMAZING! Gin, frothed egg white, and FALL SPICE!!). My friend got the Negroni, which was impeccably strong, if you're into that sort of thing (wasn't really for us). The bartenders were friendly & fun, and after 930pm the bar cleared out enough that we finally got a seat. Be warned- it's expensive at 12$/cocktail, but the ingredients and care put into their creations make it worth it.“

“The food was excellent and just what I was in the mood for. We got the special (a carne asada burrito), chicken enchiladas, and chips and salsa.We are visiting from out of town and brought our kids with us. The waitress initially acted like she had never seen a child before ? I understand that they do a big bar business, but it was before 5pm and it was honestly comical how surprised they seemed by children. The staff recovered quickly however and we had a very nice meal. Accessibility note: it's all high tops indoors.“

“Great little spot with an eclectic wine selection and solid small plates. Sitting outside of Fishtown Social with a glass of wine is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the neighborhood. Hopefully all the construction doesn't crush your vibe though. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and can usually point you in the right direction if you aren't the biggest wine drinker. Bonus points here when they have oysters. Check it out and enjoy.“

“The service and atmosphere was definitely a vibe but the food was mid. We ordered a medium steak but was cooked more rare, the chicken parm was okay, the chicken was pretty dry and also the lobster agnolotti was doused is butter so it was pretty heavy. The bread wasn’t the best either, had a stale taste to it & also tasted like it was doused in butter. But the drinks were really good. If you want to dress cute and have good drinks in the city this place is great but I personally wouldn’t come back for the food.“

“I chose Juno as the venue for my daughter-in-law's baby shower on May 11. There were over 50 guests in attendance. The manager, Chris Lockard, was extremely responsive and helpful in scheduling the event and helping me select the menu and beverage package. We were able to use the scenic deck area for our party, as the weather cooperated that day. The atmosphere was very festive, with lights, banners, and flowers that were all part of the restaurant decor. The shower was a great success with many guests complimenting the food, drinks, and venue. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Many thanks to Chris and his group at Juno for a job well done!“
