“Celebrated our 5th anniversary here tonight while visiting Philly. Beautiful ambiance and impeccable service. Rebecca our server was kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our experience great. We did the Chef’s which was seasonal, thoughtful and delicious. Each serving was creative and intriguing. Compliments to Chef Kevin McWilliams. If you live in or near the Philly area please give this place a try!“

“We had dinner here for my boyfriend's birthday and the food, service, and ambience was absolutely amazing. We ordered the appetizer of the day, Gnocchi à la parisienne, Noix de Saint Jacques, and the desserts were a cherry on top. All the food was above and beyond. Both of us have been to Paris, but with all honesty, Bistrot La Minette tastes way better. Highly recommend for any special occasions for a taste of France in the city of Philadelphia.“

“I loved everything about Her Place! The atmosphere felt so intimate, and cozy like we were visiting a friend’s home for dinner. I appreciated the detail/thought put into getting all of the guest to greet each other, even the chef explaining every dish to us as a group. I felt so comfortable that I even yelled out bye to everyone as I was leaving out the front door, like they were my friends! Lol I appreciated the hospitality from all of the ladies and it made my birthday weekend feel special! I’ve said so much just on the vibe that I didn’t even get to mention the food is SPECTACULAR! Oh, those chocolate chip cookies at the end, oh and the home made from scratch Chex Mix needs to be packaged up and sold in stores. Let me market it guys. I want to help out! Lol“

“This place has the best cozy vibe in the winter. Perfect for a date night, especially if you're celebrating something. I loved the tasting menu. Everything was delicious and felt very fancy. The cocktails were also delicious and our server was amazing. The only qualm I have is that it was pretty pricey.“

“This is a wonderful, quaint, byob brunch spot in the city. It's definitely more of an intimate/cozy setting as the space is really small. Nonetheless it's still such a cute spot! We brought our own champagne for mimosas and the orange juice the restaurant provided tasted really fresh. For breakfast I ordered the fried chicken and waffle Benedict which was delicious! It came with a side salad and normally I'm not a huge salad person but the light and refreshing flavors from the salad complimented the heartiness of the chicken and waffle perfectly. I also thought the portion size was perfect--enough to fill you up but not way too much food. For dessert we ordered the churro waffle per our server's recommendation which was sooo good. The staff was extremely nice and attentive and I had a wonderful experience here! Would definitely come back!“

“Excellent food, The area in front where you place your order is very small - - but not nearly as small as the area *behind* the counter where the staff takes, cooks, and plates orders. The entire scene there is a little chaotic and very cramped as you must also wait in the same area until there is room to seat you *before* your order is taken.Once there is room your order is taken, you are then seated. We had a large party of 8 and were seated 'outside' on the glass enclosed porch. Thankfully, at the time we atethe building blocked the sun ad we had a lovely view of the garden (and gardeners) next door. Other areas were pretty exposed to the sun and probably would have become uncomfortably warm.Again, the food was all excellent and we will certainly return, but probably with a smaller party and with greater awareness of the weather and request particular seating if available.Check out the photos from other reviews and you'll see how charming the dining area is. ?“

“I read the reviews prior to going and noticed many were unhappy. We were very pleased with our experience. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. We thought the food was very good as was the champagne. We had fun picking out our tea and the only concern I had was that the water was not hot enough nor was there enough for all of us to eke out a second cup from our tea leaves. I felt the Travelzoo deal was worth it for four of us and we enjoyed the experience!“

“Absolutely wonderful French bistro in the heart of Philadelphia Center City. I came in almost daily when I lived here 15 years ago, I returned every time I traveled here on a work trips since, and go as often as I can now that I’m back living here. I just can’t get enough! Delicious and such a serene environment. (It does get busy at night, though, so dinner reservations are recommended but not always needed.)Their wine selection is very good. Outdoor and indoor seating. And the staff are always a delight and prompt to your needs throughout your meal.I highly recommend to anyone who is in Philly and loves French cuisine!“

“The service was great - we had a most enjoyable time learning from and about the students, the instructor, and the school. The food was good and the environment was very nice. Even the dessert that I ordered but was told that 'the chef did not want to serve' because it wasn't perfect - and they let me taste anyway- was really good (maybe even the tastiest thing I had!). Overall, a good experience even if it wasn't the best food ever - I'm sure it varies from visit to visit.“
