“I stopped in the market this past Sunday and I came across this bakery by chance. The display caught my eye and I decided take a look and ended up ordering whoopie pies, lemon bars and butter cake. All three were AMAZING! I will definitely be making this a new stop when I am in the city!!“

“i was craving donuts and all the dunkins in my area were delivery only and when i ordered each location from broad to front st. weren't taking mobile orders,so i stumbled across this place, on my grubhub app,picked a sample box for $10.00 got a moon pie for the supposed eclipse, the donuts were out of this world good, moon pie was huge! they don't look like normal donuts, they are bigger, order came fast ,found out later they are located in reading terminal market, will have to stop in when i get back to downtown again.“

“This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.“

“Magical, friendly and oh so delicious! We adore our times spent here, we devour the food and love the cider. It's a rare occasion when you feel like you're really having an absolutely special moment in a restaurant, but this place is the real deal! The staff are superb, friendly, funny and so absolutely kind. “LOVED my wet breakfast burrito. It was really really good and the spicy sauce on top is *chef’s kiss*. Just a little heat in a well composed burrito. And big! If I wanted to stuff myself, I would have finished it, but ended up just eating half.The server was the bartender and couldn’t attend to us as she was really doing two jobs (prepping all the drinks and trying to keep our coffees full). But the food was so good that it didn’t bother us much.The outside patio is also so relaxing. Perfect on a nice day.“

“I’ve only ever had the best experience at crust!I have both ordered custom cakes as well as gotten some individual sweet treats here and there and I’ve always been met with kindness and the best quality vegan treats :) I took a picture of my most recent custom cake I ordered from them, which was beautifully made and delicious. Ordering a cake was easy and they were very communicative when I had any questions or wanted to express my ideas on the design.I will definitely be ordering again for my next special event and/or popping in for some sweet treats :’)“

“Ya'll if I could give them a higher rating I would. First, the bartender was great he knew the food so well and explained what was the best. My partner and I are vegetarian and vegan and he was patient and very knowledgeable about how the food was cooked and tasted. We have tried a lot of veg food in Philly and typically it's pretty good . But, this one was by far the best bar food. Their Reuben was fucking phenomenal. I grew up eating meat and seriously this tasted liked home . They marinate it and smoke it like they would pastrami. The combination of all the ingredients were delicious. We also ordered the veggie burger and it we good and hardy. It was made with kasha root. The outer crisp added a great texture to it.“

“A brilliant concept, which fuses a few everyday spots into one unique experience. The liquor store, the convenience store, the sports bar. Selection on alcohol and NA options is top notch. They’ve got Dewey smoothies. Never a bad beer from them. Also some unique sake I’m excited to give a try. I’ll definitely be back - if not for the good selection, for the vibes.“

“Food was phenomenal! For apps we had fries with gravy and wings which were both very tasty. I had the fried chicken sandwich for an entree. Was a bit messy to eat and breading on chicken could have been more favorable but still tasty overall. Prices were about what you'd expect for downtown. Our waitress was friendly but it did take a while for her to check in on us at times. However, it was busy so I understand. The manager made sure to check it on us as well. The atmosphere was warm and rustic which i loved. Wish it was maybe not as dark but no big deal. Last, this is downtown so don't expect easy parking. We caught the bus here which was less hassle. Overall, would recommend and plan on coming back some day!Parking: Will have to either park on the street or find a lot nearby. Was easier for us to just catch the bus down.“

“Hadn't been in years but glad to have returned. Started with house white wine and a cocktail for hubby. Shared their Caesar salad, then we each had a pasta entre: ravioli with butternut squash and linguin with clams. Also shared a mushrooms side and foccacia. All the food was delicious! Ended with sharing a cannoli and a cappuccino. Overall great experience in a romantic setting (2-person booths in the lower level) with an our wonderful server Rachel.“

“We got our wedding cake from Bredenbeck's Bakery. It was DELICIOUS! All of guests kept saying how much they loved the cake. We ended up getting 2 flavors - vanilla pound cake with raspberry filling and chocolate chip pound cake with chocolate filling. We met with Jake for our consultation and we were able to try all of the pound cake flavors and fillings before he drew a design of our wedding cake with the features and colors we wanted. Can’t wait to get our 1 year wedding anniversary cake so we can enjoy our cake all over again!“

“I was in town from Pittsburgh this past weekend and had dinner with family. What a lovely place with amazing food! Our server was lovely and even brought us little complementary shots of the tomato soup. Had a lovely time and will return when I venture back to the SE. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Our wedding cake tasting was so much fun, and it was hard to pick which flavors to go with because everything was just delicious! The actual wedding cake was gorgeous, and they even recommended a budget friendly way for us to incorporate wildflowers! They could have totally just charged us more and done whatever they wanted to fit our inspiration photos, but they made a really thoughtful suggestion of us ordering dried flowers on amazon, and they used those. They went above and beyond to make the cake perfect for us and our special day“

“An absolutely amazing and memorable experience watching the Phillies play on my birthday 5/19.First time back at Citizens Bank Park since 2019.The energy is amazing here, from the time you park, all the way up to you come back to your car after the game concludes.My girlfriend surprised me with the whole bday announcement during one of the earlier innings, and it was quite cool, lol.I love Citizens Bank and the Philly fans, who are the quintessential hands down best fans in baseball and plan to get tickets to the 2026 All Star Game“

I am amending my review in light of their response because it shows that they do care for patrons and our concerns. i will not contact further because i did not post the review for some freebies but for the principle of appropriate response to customer concerns.I recommend ANY of their cupcakes because they are always on point. their cookies are big and beautifully delicious. cinnamon roll is good. iced coffee hits the spot!i’ve had the hangover sandwich, the mccrumb, waffle hash and breakfast burrito and i just find it really awesome that they feature other vegan restaurants food. that’s innovative and great for trying different options with each bakery purchase.if you love cannolis get the large otherwise the mini will do the trick!chocolate and confetti cake are a GREAT gift for any last minute parties!parking sucks but there’s nothing the business can do about it. i would do dine in more often if there was easier parking in the area because the decor is very fun. they take apple pay.Snippet of my original review:i buy here very often. i buy cakes for birthdays, uber eats for delivery and do pick up.for the first time, i had an issue and i told an employee and their response was indifferent. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

It was, once again, absolutely delicious, and our server was a delight, even suggesting adding a piece to some choices for an even split between us. My recommendations: edamame, dim sum sampler, tea-smoked spare ribs, rock shrimp bao buns, pork belly bao buns, Szechuan sour to drink, and dim sum doughnuts for dessert. On some visit, we'll have to branch out with our choices, but these are just so darn good.“

“I live in South Philly and didn't even know this place existed. A friend told me about it and said it was good so I ordered from GrubHub and mannnn it did NOT disappoint! So much goodness in flavor and portion size. I tried the beef todero and tequeños and both were 10/10. I can't wait to try their arepas! My grandfather immigrated to Venezuela before coming to the US and used to make us some and haven't had any since. Looking forward to trying more.“

“If you haven’t tried the “rolls,” you’re missing out. Take it from a dude with moobs. I know good food. I f$cks with food. The cheesesteak rolls are delicious to the point of ordering an extra one because you’ll be mad you didn’t get another one. The salmon rolls are, again, one of the reasons Chase’s is a little gem. It’s what makes Philadelphia a city claim passionately. This food is made with love and I love this food!“
