“Outstanding food and service! We’ve been fans of Stina since they opened , we are lucky to have them in our neighborhood:) the food is always fresh and authentic some of our favorite dishes include Spicy soppressata , Moroccan chicken, veg pide just to name a few!!!“

My only recommendation for improvement would actually be for the W Hotel, where the restaurant restroom is shared with the lobby: please add a little light sconce to illuminate the WC/water closet/restroom sign by the elevators since black lettering on a black background in dim lighting makes it difficult to find the restroom.“

“This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. If you're based anywhere in North Philly between Farimount and Erie Ave, I can confidently say Down North is among the top three picks for the area. Happy eating!“

“I would give ten stars if I could. I wish there was a way to pay for a sixth star or something. This place...I pride myself on being a pizza snob and having the palette to know when the sauce is canned. This place is original from scratch, start to finish. The sauce is insanely good. I wish they had more seating inside so we could just sit there and eat for hours. Give them a shot, not your typical pizza joint. WORTH THE HYPE!!“

“This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.“

“What a great dinner spot! I came here in a group of 6 and we had a great experience. We sat outside on a chilly night and greatly appreciated the heater which kept us cozy the whole night. To eat, we split several menu items. Off the "Plates" menu, we got Whipped Ricotta (with sourdough, oregano, and burnt honey) and the Roasted Baby Artichokes (with salsa verde, mint, and lemon). For pizzas, we split the White Claw (mozzarella, roasted Garlic, and basil) and The Big Nick (porcini crema, mushroom, and burrata). Both were amazing, but I think I slightly preferred The Big Nick. I appreciate the fact that they keep the menu a reasonable size and thus are able to keep the quality of the things they do offer super high. Looking forward to returning again soon!“

The mushroom pizza (my normal go-to) is served with wilted greens that had an off flavor that was really bitter. Again: not bad at all - just not my vibe.“

I ate way too much but it was worth it. I would highly recommend it as a delicious and unique experience well worth eating way too much!!! “For my daughter’s wedding we were looking for a wood fired pizza truck. The ones we loved weren’t available and we booked Red Stone Pizza Truck sight unseen. I ran into them later at a food truck festival, introduced myself, and they gave me pizza to try—it was amazing and I breathed a sigh of relief that we chose wisely. Fast forward to June 17, day of wedding, and I was nervous—would people have to wait too long for pizza, did we choose types people would enjoy? Would the bacon wrapped scallops be a hit or miss (you know how that goes). Happy to say that everything was a hit! Jessica was easy to work with and the team there that day was wonderful! No one ever had to wait for pizza, they served it up and had another hot one ready to go. Everyone was so nice and customer service was some of the best I’ve experienced! I had several people tell me how good the pizza was and some even said it was the best pizza they’d ever had! Some said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had! (Even the bacon wrapped scallops were amazing!) I would recommend Red Stone for your food truck or catering needs! Thank you for running things so smoothly and making my daughters day special!!“

“Great margharita pizza and house (Philly cheesesteak) calzone. Friendly and nice staff made for a great stop for an inviting sit down or take out. It’s confusing from the map at first that it’s downstairs in a high rise building, but the escalator promptly takes you there, and a security guard will kindly key you in to the location. And a cake … my dasher went out of his way to go all the way back to the store which he didn’t have to do. But a hour later we received the pizza cold as ever but it was still good. “Let me first say I do not write reviews often.. but I just had to do it ! Yesterday was national pizza day and so my partner and I gave in and wanted pizza! I am in no sense a pizza snob (my partner is tho) so we order solely based on the pictures on the website. So yesterday we ordered the Rittenhouse and it was so amazing. It was so delicious and flavorful that we ordered 2 of them tonight! Again the pizza came and is now my favorite pizza of all time ! I will order this pizza every week from now on!“

“Fantastic beers! Keen (a dark mild) and Gully (IPA) are personal favorites but they have sooo many different varieties from sours to porters. Also love the wine, particularly the Pinot Gris, and my sister enjoyed the Riesling. The pizza is delicious, love the mushroom pizza and they usually have some kind of yummy special. The buffalo wings have a great heat and are juicy with plenty of meat—I don’t even like wings but these are ones I crave. Lots of veggie options, too—salads, yummy fried artichoke app, and pizzas. The ambiance is clean, colorful, and warm, and the service is always great. And they have soft serve with chocolate syrup!!“
