Marion and Margaret are the owners and operators of this little neighborhood eatery, a true husband and wife operation, the food is delicious and the service is great. It can get crowded especially on weekends, it a hole in the wall in the heart of Port Richmond and worth it.“

“My favorite place to visit in Philly. It feels exactly like being in a corner store in a Polish town. Everything is always fresh, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the place is always clean, and the prices are fair. Some things to try: obviously, the kielbasas, smoked rib, "Morski" cheese, Almette cream cheese spread, pate, smoked mackerel, brine herring (look up recipes on how to prepare it), Wedel chocolate, pączki, - I could go on and on. Best to bring a shopping bag with wheels because you will want to try everything :-)“
