Shay’s cheesesteaks are ridiculously awesome. It was like having a fine dining meal. I had the ribeye cheesesteak and it was far better than the steak I had at Fogo de Chao the night before. Scott the owner is passionate about his craft and it really shows. I don’t write reviews that often but this place was amazing.
Was in Philly for the UPenn graduation ceremony. When in Philly I always find an opportunity to eat cheese steak. Instead of going to Jim's or other popular tourist spots, we tried out this new place opened just 48 days ago by Scott & Jackee DiClaudio. My family and I found Shay's on a trip to Philly and were amazed at the delicious food, warm atmosphere and incredibly kind and welcoming service. I enjoyed my chicken caesar wrap, but I definitely want to get a Philly Cheesesteak next time after seeing how much my husband and daughter enjoyed theirs.
