“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!“

“Amazing decor, friendly staff, and delicious food. Sat at the bar when our other pre-show dinner plans fell through and needed a quick bite. They serve full menu at the bar. The seating is comfortable and gorgeous with the modern cherry blossom decor. New downtown fav, go there you won't be disappointed.“

“The food is amazing! Flavorful and fresh. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the South Hills. My go-to is Veggie Chow Mein with an order of Momos (dumplings). We also love the Chicken Biryani and Tikka Masala. The name of the restaurant has changed from Sagun to Allegheny Spice Kitchen. The new menu is huge so don't be afraid to try it all!“

“Our food was quite spicy. I was quite surprised when we got our appetizer and soup. We had to send the soup back as well as one of the appetizers. Someone was very heavy-handed with the spice. Other than that, the food was very good. Our server was fabulous! ??“

Definitely a memorable Easter take-out experience. Highly recommend! “I’m a Pitt student and Mount Everest is by far one of my most favorite places to eat in Oakland. Every single time I go in, I am greeted with such kindness and spectacular service. The employees are truly lovely humans and they make the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. Thank you Mount Everest!“

“This is my favorite place to come to when I want walnut chicken. They are consistent and always friendly. This time I decided to try something new and went with the Dragon & Phoenix. It was really really good. I was honestly surprised with how much I liked it. The shrimp was juicy and flavorful, the chicken has the perfect amount of crispness. We got it spicy and it was perfect. I thought the vegetables would get lost in everything but no they were fresh and crunchy. Everything was equally good.“

“Love seeing a staff that support each other. Pick up extra when another is swamped. The folks serving me had backup and I watched the bartender get servers and bussers jump in when 20 orders came in. Maybe a small thing but it certainly adds to the kindness of the staff. Thank you!“

“Great place what you'd expect from it good food and decent prices are always the key points. It's a get in, get your food, and get out take out place. Had to wait a while cause they ran out of rice but assuming that's not common wasn't too long of a wait.“

“We have been customers for over fifteen years. Never had a below par meal. I especially like the spring/ egg rolls. The portions are large and the service is quick and efficient. We mainly go the Old Freeport Rd. location, but tried the Cranberry location and had a similar experience.“

“I came here to try the peking duck and I have got to say it was one of the best I have had in the area so far. I got the full duck, skin and meat (I have been to some places that only give you part of a duck and hardly any skin) not only that but I got plenty of pancakes, green onion, cucumber, and hoisin. There was easily enough for 4 meals, since I was eating alone. It only took about 30 minutes for them to prepare the duck which is pretty good and average for this kind of meal. The service was great, I am sad I wasn't able to dine in but I definitely understand.Next time I am in the area I am definitely returning not only to get the peking duck but to try more of the meal. I am throughly impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to return.“

“Food is outstanding and bursting with flavor ! Spicy levels available on every dish . Do not recommend ordering a spicy 5, even if you like it hot since it takes away from the flavor of their spices and seasonings . They never disappoint! Take out is always fresh and stays warm for the ride home unlike other reataurants. Huge servings also ! Highly recommend the fried tofu, spicy basil noodle and Thai curry noodle ! All dishes are insanely delicious as is their coconut rice !“

“This is our usual Monday destination for lunch. There is a wide selection of diabetic friendly meals. I've even managed to convince them to make me "X over rice" without the rice. I occasionally go off program and get dumplings, and they are totally worth it.Vegetarian options: The cucumber salad is one of my favorites. The egg with tomatoes is also delicious. They have a vegetarian section on the menu, though don't overlook the vegetarian appetizers.“

“The atmosphere was amazing from the beginning. Have no complaints, we loved everything. Service was amazing and food was even better if that’s possible. I will confidently say that this is the best ”fine dining” spot in Pittsburgh that actually has the best food for your buck. Quality, price, and portions are the best in Pittsburgh for a restaurant like this, not to talk about the beautiful place it is. No wonder it is so popular!!!“
