I knew that this restaurant did not take reservations however, I did call and spoke with someone to get on their “call ahead" list" the man actually suggested that I come at an earlier time than I had originally planned which I agreed to. When my husband and I arrived there were people waiting in the street and people blocking the stairs. I walked inside to give my name since I was on the “wait list” only to be rudely yelled at by the older man (who I believe is the owner) who was bizarrely in the corner drinking with others. All I tried to do was check in and give my name and he literally started yelling at me. I don't care how good you think your food is that behavior is absolutely uncalled for and is completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant. I am a life long Pittsburgh resident and have dined just about everywhere. Dining is about the experience from start to finish. Sadly last year I tried to dine here with my husband and also my daughter and had a similar encounter at the front door with a younger man we couldn’t get in and we left. However I was willing this year to try again only to have an even worse encounter. The sheer arrogance of this place and its owner is absolutely shameful.

Fantastic and would highly recommend. From the owner to the staff to the customers beside us. My mouth watered the entire time.
