“The atmosphere was amazing from the beginning. Have no complaints, we loved everything. Service was amazing and food was even better if that’s possible. I will confidently say that this is the best ”fine dining” spot in Pittsburgh that actually has the best food for your buck. Quality, price, and portions are the best in Pittsburgh for a restaurant like this, not to talk about the beautiful place it is. No wonder it is so popular!!!“

“Actually perfect pho. I tried the bun bo hue which is a spicy beef pho with round noodles. It was... ACTUALLY PERFECT. Every element was spot on. Optimal spice and salt levels, impeccable broth flavor, good amounts of beef, and plenty of garnish. I went to Bae Bae's cafe earlier today and got a bahn mi and it was... hideous. Soft bread, almost no meat, and doused in way too much spicy mayo. I didn't get a bahn mi here at Maiku but I can already tell based on the quality of the pho that it would absolutely destroy Bae Bae's. Oh and the bahn mi at Maiku is $4 cheaper. The staff was personable and friendly. The environment is very casual which is how you know the food is legit. The food came out in less than 15 minutes. Overall this is easily the best food we've had in Pittsburgh so far.“

“Pho is my love language! And my favorite place is New Saigon in Dormont. It's a warm restaurant on the corner of Potomac and Glenmore. I usually park on the street but there is also a pay lot behind the restaurant. Take out is fast and the inside booths are cozy. I usually get a hot tea, crispy spring rolls and pho. The deep broth, fresh herbs and crunchy bean sprouts are flavorful and satisfying. Truly one of my favorite places to warm up in Pittsburgh.“

“Had dinner there Saturday first time. Treehugger burger and gearhead burger were very good as were the fries. Had risotto balls for appetizer, terrible. Risotto mushy and flavorless. Chef needs to add chicken stock, heavy cream and parm and not overcook. Coating was good and crisp. Will go back , but try meatballs instead!!“

“The visit to the North Hills Olive Garden Italian Restaurant was outstanding. Food was perfectly done, and the service provided by Megan was great!!!!! It was the perfect place to have a meal of comfort food on a raw cold rainy ? miserable late winter's Saturday night ?. The custom design your own pasta meal is a great feature of the Olive Gardens menu. The only downside item, and it's a minor one,was that there was not enough salad dressing for the salad bowl, and the salad dressing wasn't quite up to the taste standards that I have enjoyed in the past. For instance, the dressing at the Upper St. Clair location in Pittsburgh's south hills.Otherwise, it was a wonderful meal. And again, outstanding service.“

“The entree was very good as usual, as was the salad but they have made a change to their famous bread sticks which is very disappointing. They no longer have the delicious crust on the outside. The whole thing is very soft and the taste is just not the same. The bread sticks were always a favorite of everyone and I hope they reconsider and bring the originals back.“

“Definitely recommend eating here or getting food to-go! I had just gotten in from a road trip at 12 minutes til closing and they were super nice enough to accommodate me with a to-go order. The food tasted pretty good (not amazing, but it's the end of the day and they gave me extra breadsticks instead of soup/salad). Portions are easily enough for 2 meals. The service was amazing and quick, and I was out of there before they officially closed. The people who worked there were very friendly. My only regret is that I tried to leave a tip for the cooks since I was there late and I learned that is their policy not to tip out cooks. I wish I could buy them a beer or something! Great place.“

“This is a nice, clean restaurant with friendly staff and generally good food. (One of my few bad experiences was an unripened avocado on my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich.)My one complaint is they keep the thermostat very low, in both summer and winter. In summer, I’ve been there when they had their fireplace on but the ac on so low to the extent that I had to wear a coat I happened to have in my car. I’ve mentioned this to staff a few times, but it’s always the same. And it’s not just me. I see others eating with their coats on as well. Maybe they don’t want people staying more than the time it takes to finish their food?Anyway, also a waste if money on electricity that they could use for better things than to freeze out customers.“
