“My friends and I stopped in to LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner on a Saturday night. We had been outside in the rain all afternoon at my nieces baby shower. We were tired and hungry. We were seated within five minutes. Our server came by roughly 7-8 minutes later. We all had decided what we wanted for dinner, so we ordered. I ordered the fillet with asparagus and a side salad. I kept debating whether to order the cheaper steak, but I knew I wanted the highest quality of beef, so I went with the fillet. The salad was fresh and helped ease the hunger pains in my stomach. When the steak arrived, I cut into it and was so pleased. It was cooked just as I requested, medium. It was tender and juicy and needed no steak sauce (which I normally use). The asparagus was also cooked to perfection and had seasoning that enhanced the flavor. I ate half my meal and took the rest back to the hotel and flew it home to Jacksonville the next morning (direct flight) and had it for dinner. It was just as good the next night! The service was friendly and the food was delicious. It was a Saturday dinner win!“

“I went there with my father who is suffering from dementia. The server was very patient with him and always kept a smile on her face. I wish I could remember her name to give her a praise directly. My father struggled with the stake he ordered although tasting it myself the steak was perfect yet the manager still took his steak off of the bill because he wasn't happy with it. The service was the best service from any restaurant I've ever been to. And the steak was delicious!“

“Wicked busy Friday night, the 2 bartenders were swamped, they still have a great attitude and go the job done in a timely manner. “We had a private event in their private room earlier this week that was anticipated to have 26 attendees. The room was set up awkwardly in the fact that they made one long table even though it made all the chairs way too close to each other. The food was pretty good, especially our desserts and entrees. The service was also fast. When they brought out each course, they had several people bring out the food so the whole party got their dishes within a couple of minutes of each other. They also validate your parking in the attached garage but you should note that it's only for two hours so you may need to pay a small amount after the validation.“

“Coconut shrimp and paella are always the must-ordered here. Also tried the plantain bowl and it's good. We were told the key lime pie is 100% homemade here. Worth try because it comes with the novel comb that melt marshmallows on top. The dishes are a bit over seasoned but overall is good. A good chill place to go.“

“Eddie Merlot was a favorable for us in business and personal dining. In last year the restaurant had a top down staff change so I think they are revamping so that is a challenging process. Our waiter Matt was outstanding and everything a steakhouse regular knows to want and expect from the experience. He was attentive, informed, sincere and timely. Kudos if they garner more staff like him. I would encourage corporate to invest in new carpeting. It looks bad. As a marketing person I would encourage them to find a way to drive socials groups in for some happy hours as it seemed peculiarly quiet.“
