This was my second time at the Vandal. First time we got a bunch of plates to split off the menu and they were all excellent. We went Thursday this time to try their burger and it did not disappoint! I recommend this place to all my friends. Great service, great aesthetic and excellent food.
This is the best restaurant in Pittsburgh, bar none. Cheffy, unique, imaginative and elevated food done well (for the most part). Good drinks. Local passion. I shall keep coming back! Thank You!

My Wife and I have been to pretty much every high-end Steak restaurant in Pittsburgh and the Vandal consistently has the best Steak we have had. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye for two and it was extremely tender, succulent and tasty. I believe the Vandal's ability to consistently provide the best steak experience is due to the Sous Vide cooking of the steak initially, with a grill or sear before service.
